Inwardly, Aodh was amused. The heroes were not benevolent. That was good to know. It means that they would that much easier to corrupt. But it must not come to conclusions. There are always some reason or another for heroes not to show themselves in person.
"Heroes should have the power to feed and care for you all. I should know, I was once a hero myself...Then...Then..."
The host was beginning to remember. Aodh would need to step back a bit.
"Well, it doesn't matter at the moment. Perhaps if I speak to them I can get more help? My Goddess can do many things through me, but not enough to help all of you quickly enough. I can feed you all with repeated visits, but I can only do so much at a time. If the heroes understand that they can do much more, perhaps they would help you as well?"

Isala, appearing as a young human (Firbolg Disguise Self), points a finger at the departing Aodh's back and shouts at the crowd.
"You see! That's the hero for you an me! Not going to sit around and watch our children starve, he's going to do something about it. All these protectors in their fancy headquarters, living the high life, an protectin us from what?"
He waits for a crowd response, then presses on.
"Bloody nothin, that's what! They take an they take an they take from us, so they can feast in their big building while you scrounge for your supper! No more, I say! No more! That one is goin to help us! Bring more people, he says! Be the people he needs! Help him, so he can help you! And these heroes" - he spits on the ground - "they won't help you. They'll stand in his way. They'll stand in our way. Just so they can keep their own good life to themselves! No more! When tomorrow comes, stand with this true hero, the one who helps you and asks nothing, and cast down those who have made us lick their boots all this time. Tell your friends! Together, they can't stop us!"
With that, Isala attempts to leave the crowd, and at first opportunity will duck into a corner, alley, or building where he's unlikely to be seen and drop his disguise as a 6 foot human to his normal Firbolg self.
Gorgox will listen to the officials discussing in hopes of learning something of interest.
After they leave he will wait for 10 minutes, studying the layout of the box.
Then if there aren't too many people (if I observe too many people, or someone too inquisitive I will use my Ring of Invisibility) around I will spend about 30 minutes in the arena and audience areas, to get a feel for the area.
After that I will go back to the inn to report my findings to Alcashia and the rest of the group.
Aodh/Isala; Many people don't look at you, Isala, fearing the things you say to be taboo. A few cast scared looks at you, maybe hopeful. Aodh finds the city hub at the center, with many thanks and smiles from the street people following you.
Gorox: You hear the officials say "Big and beefy will be fine. But maybe we could incorporate traps as well? Maybe magic? That'd be interesting." They leave soon after. The box itself is small, lavish, with a birds-eye view of the arena. At the moment, it is a large square rectangle with nothing but sand. Tiers of stands rise from all sides, covered with canvas. The arena itself is not.
