At the suggestion that she impersonate a hero, Lyssma hops in place, clapping her hands and laughing giddily. "Kill a hero and become a hero, how fun! We must do this!"
She then stops to consider, soberly:"But...can there still be fire?"

"Far be it from me to deny Lyssama some fun," Isala begins, "but there is, of yet, no information regarding the target. What are the capabilities of the defense, or do we need to infiltrate these cities, one at a time, to gather intelligence before any strike?"
Aodh looked at them all. Ambitious, committed to the goal, and (most importantly) hungry. They want to proceed. They want to be careful, but each one of them were eager to begin. The being known as Aodh had to admit to itself that it wanted to start as well. So many possibilities, just waiting to be realized. They had much to do, and little to start with aside from what they already had before coming here, but they can do so much, and not many actually know who they are, and if they do, all of them have what is needed to convince people otherwise. But above everything else, they all needed to take that first step...
"Perhaps we should all go there. We should see for ourselves what we' will have to deal with."

Aodh: Level 20 Half-Elf Cleric of Life - Not really. It's a strange being that had possessed and broke down a level 20 Cleric of Life Domain, gaining his knowledge and power.
"*****": Level 1 Tiefling Sorcerer - Her family is dead, and her will is broken. She follows orders so that those that command her will allow her to die.
"Yes. I agree with Aodh, we should all go there as one. We are more than sneaky enough to not be noticed. As I've said, it is small for a city. I am really the only one widely known, but I can disguise myself easily. Defenses are fairly high, as it is the biggest trading post, so a frontal offense probably wouldn't work. So, without further ado, if you would please step through this portal." He waves a hand and a black, swirling doorway appears. You can hear wind rustling on the other side.

Aodh steps through the portal, it’s amulet glowing a corrupted light as it moves.

Lyssma looks at the portal with considerable apprehension. She tests the portal with a bare toe, wincing little before realizing that it doesn't actually hurt.
Finally, she lets out a guttural cry and plunges into the swirling blackness.
Isala sighs deeply to himself. These...companions are far too eager to squander any tactical advantage, as if they are more interested in being in a fight then actually winning one. Still, they may have their uses. Shaking his head, he takes on the appearance of a muscular, scarred Goliath (using Disguise Self) of nearly his natural height, nods to their host, and steps through the portal.
The Tiefling walks through after everyone else. You find yourselves a few miles away from the city, which is illuminated by the many torches in the streets, as it is around midnight when you arrive. There are large wooden walls around the city, with a large gate through which a steady stream of people are going in and out of. Guards patrol the walls with crossbows and shortswords at the ready. You see no heroes, but you suspect they would be farther into the city. "So. Here we are. I shall go first, as I know people on the inside who can help us get in close to the heroes. Meet me in the Black Branch inn in 30 minutes. We can go from there. See you soon." With another portal, the Tiefling disappears.

The moment Aodh has entered the area, it began to work. Gone were the puppet-like facial expressions. Here, his appearance was more controlled. Instead of dead, beaten eyes, were ones of kindness and conviction towards a religion. Instead of slouching, the body was stood up tall and strong. On his face was a small smile, unbefitting of how it had talked and acted before. Even when it spoke, the voice was no longer strange, but full of vitality and purpose.
”I will attempt to see if there is anything out-of-place.”
Aodh took a moment to look at their current surroundings for places of import, landmarks, or generally any location that has the potential to be advantageous to them.

Before entering, Isala looks at the stream of people, as well as the guards on the palisade, attempting to ascertain if the appearance of a Goliath would be considered unusual or attract attention in this city, and, if not, what sort of disguise might be more nondescript.

Lyssma looks Aodh and Isala up and down. "Why so you two look so different?"She brushes her wild hair out of her face to get a better look at them both.
"My people rarely come to towns. A Firbolg is sure to arouse curiosity in the people, if not the guards and heroes. Besides, never give your enemies anything you don't want them to know. Surely someone of your...condition...appreciates that. I am just taking it one step further...giving our foes something different I *do* want them to know."
“I am wearing the personality of this body”, whispered Aodh to Lyssma. “If I were to look as I did before, many would suspect something was wrong. A Cleric of Life should never look so lifeless when in the company of others.”
