As Aodh walked through the streets, it had passed all manner of nightlife. It seemed that people were not as afraid to stay out at night as the walls suggested...Of course, they weren't what it needed. It needed the poor, the homeless, and deprived. It needed the street urchin. They see and hear many things, and they know all the little places that can go from one part of the city to another. He found one such child, and put on an air of kindness. He approached them, and asked,
"Are you hungry?"

Isala sees Lyssma enter the building, and his lips curl in a smile. His companions may object, but nature finds opportunities to grow wherever it can, he reminds himself, and he uses the innate Disguise Self ability of his people to take on a different visage, one much smaller - one that could reasonably be mistaken for Lyssma's older sister. He (she?) strides towards the building, and, as soon as she sees Lyssma and the angel in the entrance, sprints towards them.
"No swords, no swords! Please, don't hurt her," she screams, hysterically. "Can't you see she is confused?" Immediately upon arrival, Isala open hand slaps the angel (see spoilered space), before dropping into a defensive, almost supplicating pose, submissive but keeping herself between the angel and her "sister."
"Please, good sir, my sibling means you no harm, and I...sometimes get carried away with worry when I lose sight of her, especially in town when I see somebody heavily armed confronting her. My sister wanders, and unlike me, her mind never quite escaped from the wars, you see...?" Isala bows her head in respect to the angel. "I beg you, let us go in peace. I would be glad to offer you some coin in recompense for the trouble we have caused you this day." Never taking her eyes from their downcast position in front of the angel, Isala says back over her shoulder to Lyssma. "You know how we worry when I cannot find you. Come, let us get you back to the inn where we can take care of you. Remember, the inn? We are overdue, and sorely missed."
Isala wants to strike the angel with open hand once only, with minimal possible damage. I am rolling for all 4 unarmed strikes just to speed things along, but, as soon as one hits, I will stop, so perhaps there will be only one attack. If I miss on the first 2, I will spend a Ki point to flurry. The aim is not to damage or even antagonize the angel, but merely to set up the imperceptible vibrations of Quivering Palm for the team to have an ace in the hole when the battle is finally joined. 3 (or 4, if flurry is needed) ki points seems a reasonable price for a surprise element in the upcoming clash.
To hit: 25251614

Once out of sight of the building, Isala checks to see if he has been followed (Perception: 11), and otherwise heads to the inn. If others are still wandering around the city, Isala would like to stay at the and wait, taking a short rest if at all possible.
Short rest would be to recover ki points spent when using Quivering Palm on the angel, which I presume happened even though he disregarded the damage of the strike that landed.
Aodh looks about the urchins, and smiles twice. One could be seen on the outside, peaceful, benevolent, and kind. The other was hidden behind that smile...Even the poor can help build an image.
Aodh feigned a prayer, and took in hand the amulet around its host's neck. In a grand gesture, it spread its arms out, and cast a single spell thrice.
Suddenly, large bowls of bread, soup, and porridge appear alongside flasks of water. Aodh lowers his arms,
"I apologize. The food is not the best to taste, but it will fill your stomachs. It will only last for a single day. This time tomorrow, it will all be rotten. The water alone will not spoil.”

Aodh knew what it was doing. Show kindness to fulfill a greater evil. There was much it could do with the poor as a resource. It could corrupt them, and manipulate their morals however it pleased. It could have them have them trust it’s words and do what it wished. It could kill them in a “sudden” attack from a beast...For now, however, it simply needed them for information. The heroes try to help them? That means they have at least some information on how they act. Hell, perhaps one would try to meet with it if the urchins spoke of him enough...
Aodh could spare a bit of time. It would need to return to influence them and get more information, but for now, just a small bit would be enough.
