As the fire elemental disappears to be replaced by a cute little puppy, Bram sags down, almost dropping to the ground.
As the bartender exclaims free drinks, Bram drags himself up and head in to get the strongest drink he can.
"Wonderful barkeep, what is your strongest drink? I need something to start dulling the pain. Burns are the worst, they just keep on stinging."
Bram climbs onto a bar stole to awaits his drink. Tentatively, Bram pulls is cloths back from his chest and tries to examine the burns, wincing at the pain.
Bram slowly lets his cloths back down, and then proceeds to cast Prestidigitation (the part where 'you chill up to 1 cubic foot of nonliving material for 1 hour') on the cloths over the burns.
Bram: She nods with a smile before turning to grab a bottle from the top shelf. The glass is opaque and matte black, looking almost like wrought iron. From it she pours a dark, red liquid into a shot glass and passes it to you. "Fiend's Blood. Packs a punch but it'll certainly take the edge of your wounds."
Ospos came off the adrenaline from battle to a feeling of dread. Lucky to be alive! Yeah... lucky.
The sound of the owner of the tavern offering free drinks was music to Ospos' ears. He was still shaking from the battle. It would be hard to perform and free drinks was plenty of justification to not work for an evening. Walking into the tavern, Ospos overheard the waitress serving Bram some liquor to ease the pain of the burns.
With a sigh, Ospos felt it was only fair to offer his services to support those that did the real dangerous work. The mood in the tavern was somber, and the drum didn't feel right. Ospos took out his bagpipes and started a droning tune, throwing some healing around at those with the worst looking burns.
Healing word to Bram (6), Nodrus (6) and Clermar (7).
Letting the tune die down, Ospos spoke, "Well, I'm tapped out." Climbing up onto a stool next to the bar, Ospos pointed to the glass Bram was holding and said, "Whatever he's having."
Dril: The mage shrugs. "He's a member of the conjuration school, but I'm a necromancer. We tend to uh, keep to ourselves." he says before walking off to rejoin the other mages.
Ospos: "Of course!" she pours you a shot of the garnet colored drink. The flavor is incredibly tart, like unripened cranberries, but it's pleasant for such a strong liquor.
Liafial, Nean: "Anything for you two?" the bartender says with a smile.
As those of you who have returned to the bar begin to drink, an older gnome woman rushes over and hops up on a seat next to you. Her hair has gone mostly grey, and deep smile lines spread across her face as she beams at you. She's dressed for the road, wearing weathered clothes layered with leather armor. "You guys. Are. AMAZING!" She raises her pint of ale, almost as if she's about to raise a toast but skips the cheers and knocks back a big gulp instead. "Truly. Fantastic. I'm Gita. It's an absolute pleasure to meet you all! You guys are the adventuring sort, yes?"
Looking over at the older gnome woman, Ospos thinks 'Yup, I'm lucky,' and responds, "Funny you should say that! I've been working on getting my foot in the door in that very line of work!"
Clermar drops to the ground and rolls out the fire as soon as he is hit.
Fire Damage: 2
When he looks up he sees the puppy and is a bit confused, but once the cheers ring out he figures everything is safe for the moment. He lets out a deep breath and collects himself.
Second Wind 5
He begins helping clean the area and picks up his weapons. He walks over to the gnome he saw casting magic bolts. As the necromancer mage leave he yells, "At least the necromancers didn't almost burn down the damn city!" Clearly trying to yell at any mages around that might have caused this. The half-elf lowers his gaze to the gnome, "Thanks for fighting, I'm glad you can keep a handle on your magic."
As the healing from Ospos takes hold in Bram, he takes a deep breath in, before letting it out.
"Aaahhhh, wow thanks friend, that hit the spot even better then this fine liquor. Your name was Ospos, right? My names Bram, in case you were interested."
Bram turns to Gita,
"Yes, me and my two companions have been known to adventure from time to time."
Bram looks about, saying to no one in particular,
"Where have those two gotten to? They missed seeing me be all heroic, what a wasted opportunity."
"Thank you, maybee something to lighten the mood a little bit. Would you happen to have a good wine?" He then turns to the gnome introducing herself as gita. "I guess that kinda depends on who's asking." , he answers in a skeptical tone.
"That'll get ridda that problem"Nodrus said to himself, patting down the flames and leaning against his warhammer, with it's head on the ground. Looking around the now charred and panicked area, Nodrus noticed a small flicker of flame remaining on the ground, before quickly stomping it out before it caught onto his boot.
Liafial, Nean, Bram, Ospos: The bartender pours two glasses of red wine, and hands them to Liafial and Nean. Gita somehow manages to look even more excited as Ospos, Liafial and Bram respond. "Well hopefully your friends will return quickly! I have a proposition. A job. A QUEST!" almost shouting the last word. She turns to Nean and his more skeptical remark. "Oh! Yes! My apologies. Yes, I am Gita. Gita Troublehound! I'm certainly a little adventurous, but more so I'm a collector. A seeker! People lose things, and I find them. Sometimes I keep them, sometimes I sell them, sometimes people pay me to find things for them. Other collectors, with a little more coin than I, if you catch my drift. Sometimes I get a commission that's a bit too much to handle, and so I recruit some younger, hardier help." She says, with an eager smile, leaning towards you ever so slightly.

"Gita Troublehound,I am Liafial Aloro, Bladesinger of the Sunrise elves, practitioner of the Viper style. I understand you are excited but let us speak plainly, do you have need of adventurers to help with a commission?" Liafial takes a sip of wine while waiting for Gita's response.
Taking one last look around the area as people slowly returned to their daily business, Nodrus looked down to where the Fire Elemental was, staring at the charred wood beneath his feet. He clutched a small silver necklace in his hand tightly before stuffing it back into his backpack, and making his way back to the tavern. The dwarf took a seat at the bar front once again, placing 1 gold piece on the counter, "Fill 'er up again for me will ya ?" Nodrus asked the barkeep as he slid a large mug across with the gold piece. He briefly took a gander across the people in the tavern, recognising a couple of faces who helped in that fight, before turning back around waiting for his drink.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nean tastes the whine and shighs quietly. He's still unhappy about his performance and a bit rattled from the fight, so he decideds to let the others talk to that gnome and focus on listening.

Liafial, Nean, Bram, Ospos: "Quick you are! Yes, yes I do. A client of mine has asked me to track down a mirror. Allegedly it once belonged to a wood elf princess, a gift from her lover. Now I'm not sure why exactly the buyer wants this particular decoration, but she's willing to pay quite a bit! I've tracked the mirror down to an abandoned mine shaft at the foot of the Sunridge mountains to the north. It's uh.... seen some dragon activity. In the past! I think it was used as a back-up treasure stash, but my sources say the drake hasn't been back in ages. Shouldn't be anything too gnarly in there, probably some traps and kobolds. Honestly I'd go myself, but I have business across Uvalli, in New Primetra. It's urgent. And while I'm still more than capable of a good delve, at my age I'd have to pace myself. You dashing heroes could get the loot in no time! So? You're interested, yes?!"
Nodrus: "Ah ah, this one's on the house. You've earned it" she says as she fills your mug with ale, and passes it back along with your gold. As you drink, you overhear the conversation an older gnome woman is having with a few of the others that had fought the elemental. As she finishes speaking, she catches your eye "You're invited too! You big, burly, hunk-a-dwarf. Oh if I was just a few years younger..." she trails off for a moment, still staring at you, before snapping back and addressing the whole group. "Where are your other friends? Might they be interested as well? The dashing warrior, and that mage! Get them over here! Ah what a fine crew, makes me miss my glory days"
Ospos was quick to take the lead, replying, "Yes yes, the crew could get the job done. But lets talk payment? There's 7 of us here and that sounds like a good hike outside of the city, plus whatever challenges the mine shaft will throw at us. Your client willing to make it worth all of our whiles? And how do you intend to pay? When the mirror is delivered?"
"Fair enough then, good on ya" Nodrus raises his mug slightly, nodding towards the barkeep before downing the whole thing in one go, collecting his gold piece and walking over to stand at the table where he was called from, "Whaddaya got for me then?" Nodrus spoke as he had overheard some of the conversation already, He sounded genuine in asking, despite his arrogant natural tone. After weeks of wandering alone through the forest, perhaps this could be a start of weaving back into a society for Nodrus.

"What was that about!?" Dril exclaims at no one, looking at the carnage. "Who was this Silas character anyway?" Dril asks to a nearby conclave member.
