Across the planes, there is one thought that crosses the minds of every being when they see a massive flying shape above them: Dragon. But as this creature dives closer, it's form looks more avian. Massive feathered wings, a pair of ebony talons, and a beak attached to a wrinkled, leathery head give it the appearance of an immense, predatory bird cloaked in jet black. A piercing shriek echoes across the badlands as it closes in on its prey. Though there isn't much direct light in this landscape, the bird seems to cast a stark shadow as it begins to circle over you all about 70 feet in the air. Those of you in the back of the party see this dark silhouette pass over those in front, and as it does it seems to pulse with a dreadful energy, devouring all traces of light momentarily and sending a sense of imminent dread down the spines of those caught in the shadow. The bird swoops ahead and begins to turn back towards you for another pass.
Liafial and Clermar please give me DC 14 Wisdom Saves, on a fail you are frightened until the end of your turn
And with her bonus action, she will use Channel Divinity: Illuminate Darkness to end Liafial's Frightened status if he doesn't make his save at the end of his turn.

Move: 10ft south from current position, up against the rocky outcropping
IF the Giant Black Buzzard of Death gets within 60ft of Bram:
As Bramlooks at the giant bird, his eye's begin to turn completely black, as he mutters arcane words and makes arcane gestures.
As his eyes become completely black, he releases the magic of Phantasmal Force at the giant bird and his eyes instantly return to normal.
Action: Cast Phantasmal Force at the Giant Black Buzzard of Death:
The targetmakes an Intelligence Save against DC13. On a failure, the targetwill have an illusion of its head being completely engulfed in a raging fire. The targetwill treats the phantasm as if it were real, taking 1d6psychic damage on each of Bram's turns. This illusion is only visible to the targetand lasts up to 1 miniute (10 turns) with concentration.
If the targetfails its saving throw it takes: 2 psychic damage, and may possibly have trouble seeing through all the fire.
IF the Giant Black Buzzard of Death stays beyond 60ft of Bram:
Bramraises his hands, palms out, crossed, one over the other, and with an arcane word, releases a beam of green eldritch energy at the giant bird.
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at the Giant Black Buzzard of Death:Attack: 16 - Damage: 9 force damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
In any case, Nean will use a Bonus Action to flick on his Soul Knifes.

If the bird remains out of reach, he will give him an intense stare down, casting Mind Thrust (INT save 13, no dmg taken if successful): 8
Lah'thys: The shadow pulses around her and she stops in her tracks. "Roc!" She screams, terror in her voice. She extends one hand and to her left a cloud of dense fog begins to appear, obscuring the rocky landscape around it. Lah'thys dives into this cover, waving over anyone else who wants the benefit of it. (Wis Save: 2)
Giant Black Buzzard of Death: The massive raptor pivots in the air then dives at blinding speed towards the party. It's wings flare out at the last moment, but it's beak carries with the momentum in an attempt to impale Clermar(Attack: Attack: 17 Damage: 11) at the same time, one of it's massive talons extends towards Liafial in an attempt to rip the wizard off of the ground (Attack: 13 Damage: 9, grappled if it hits, escape is DC 19)
Ospos: As the bird swoops within range, a burst of purple sparkling flames appears around it, but they don't seem to stick as the creature beats its giant wings.
Bram: Anyone next to Bram hears his arcane mutterings echoed by some strange other voice. Whatever he casts seems to take hold, as the roc immediately recoils in apparent pain, shaking its head in frustration.
Ava: A beam of shimmering silver energy fires at the bird, slamming into the place where its wings meet its body and leaving a shining beacon there. Then the cleric turns to her companion, and with a wave of her hand a sourceless, pale light seems to shine down on Liafial clearing away the unnatural terror which fills him.
Nean: Nean runs forward to meet the bird as it is pelted with magical attacks. His psychic blade sinks in, sending a pulse of pain through it's body.
Clermar: The warrior's sword cleaves across the roc's neck, cutting two swathes into it and spraying the ground with blood and feathers.
Liafial: Suddenly there are four Liafial's, all contending with the bird's talons.
(Just to make this next round easier for you all posting, on the Roc's next turn it is going to fly up in the air, so anyone in melee can go ahead and make an AOO in addition to your turn. If Liafial is grappled, he's going with it and does not get an AOO)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ava will use her movement to go into the fog created by Lah'thys, then cast Healing Word on Clermar, healing him for 9. She will then look to Liafial, using Reflection to give him 3 temporary hit points.

Bramleans out again, holding the thread of concentration, on the illusion of fire, in the winged terror's mind.
Taking aim with both hands out, palms up, crossed, one over the other, Bramutters more arcane words, releasing a green beam of eldritch energy at the giant bird. Again a second voice can be heard, accompanying his arcane speech.
Lowering his hands, Bramlooks over to the cloud of fog, and decides to make a run for it.
Anyone looking at Bramas he runs, may see a couple of extra eye's on either side of his neck. They appear to have completely black irises and are all looking intently at the giant bird. And on the back of Bram's neck it appears as if a small mouth is located just below his hair line.
Concentration: Phantasmal Force on Giant Black Buzzard of Death: 6 psychic damage from the illusion of a raging fire on its head. (2/10 turns)
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at Giant Black Buzzard of Death: Attack: 25 - Damage: 5 force damage.
Move: Move diagonally over and into the fog cloud, keeping to the outer edge, for easy lean out and attack, options.

AoO: Attack: 26 Damage: 11
As the Roc ascends back into the air, Nean quickly dashes into the fog cloud to sneak away with the others. If he still manages to reach the bird, he will send another Mind Thrust after him (120 ft range).
Clermar strikes at it once before he maneuvers himself toward the cloud around the colossal bird. He stays close and motions for those in the open to head toward the cloud.
Greatsword attack: 22 to hit, 5 slashing damage.
As the creature ascends, he strikes at it again.
Greatsword AoO: 17 to hit, 6 slashing damage.
(Ignore those, I was playing with my macros and didn't have my to hit and damage bonuses correct.)
The roc writhes in pain from the assault, shaking it's head violently from side to side. The party is buffeted by the wind generated from its wings before finally with one big flap it lifts off the ground, Liafial in tow (the attack landed before your mirror image so it would still hit and grapple you, meaning you wouldn't get an AoO). It rises about 60 ft into the air, flinging Liafial back towards the earth (take 17 damage from the fall, and give me a concentration check) as it spins before diving back down itself, seemingly in an effort to drop and roll. Ospos, Clermar, and Nean are beneath its plummeting form and must attempt to dive out of the way or risk being crushed. (DC 13 Dex Save, take 2 on a fail, none on a success)
Lah'thys: You're all surprised to see the vampire still shaking with fear. She looks equally frustrated in herself, but manages to chuck a javelin from out of the cloud at the beast. Attack: 18 Damage: 5 Wis Save 1
Ospos: Your magic seems to take effect, the buzzard's black eyes swivel towards you as you flee and it's feathers ruffle in anger.
Bram: The phantasmal flames continue to burn around the creature's head, invisible to everyone else. As it struggles in vain to quench them, you are easily able to land your eldritch blast, slamming into it's torso with a burst of feathers and an audible thud.
Ava: The cleric is a dervish of divine light, celestial words spilling from her mouth as she does her best to restore her companions' vitality
Nean: Your psychic assault continues to prove effective against the dim witted beast, wearing against it's senses.
Clermar: The bird is to swift and your sword misses it as it lifts off, but you stay steadfast and cut into it again after it crashes into the rocky ground.
Liafial: (I'm pretty sure that fall knocked you out, but lemme know because your sheet hasn't been updated since you hit level 4) Bleeding from the talon strike, you all watch as Liafial drops 60 ft, slamming into the earth with a slight bounce. There he lies motionless, his illusions vanished and his whip limp at his side (give me a death save please)
