Clermar continues his onslaught against the foe. Seeing Liafial go down, he urges them to head into the cloud. "This beast is likely to kill us all if we don't get to cover! Go now!"
Bram's eyes go wide at Lafial, falling from the sky to a sickening thud.
As he looks back at the bird, the pupils of his eyes become slitted and the irises turn a fiery orange. More eye's start appearing around his body, along with extra mouths, filled with fang like teeth.
Bramcries out at the black flying foe, and as he does every mouth on his body cries out in a different voice.
"Hoariri, ka tino utu koe mo to whakaeke!"
Taking aim again, Bram, with outstretched hands, releases another green beam of eldritch energy at the beast.

The giant bird is beginning to look quite ragged, staining the ground beneath it with dark blood and a scattering of feathers. But the roc doesn't back down, instead jabbing it's razor sharp beak towards Clermar and following up with a swipe of it's talons.
Beak Attack: Attack: 9 Damage: 9
Talon Attack: 22 Damage: 10 (Grappled if it hits, DC 19 to escape)
Lah'thys: The warrior's whole body is tense as she struggles to shake off the unnatural fear which has gripped her to no avail. In frustration she grabs another javelin and hurls it at the buzzard. Attack: 7 Damage: 9 Wis Save 18
Ospos: Your psychic jabs succeed again at distracting the already frazzled creature, just as it attacks your half-elf friend.
Bram: This time your arcane rocket careens off of the creature's wing, singing a few feathers but not doing any real damage. The illusory flames continue to burn at the roc's psyche but it seems to have decided to ignore them in it's bloodthirsty rage.
Ava: Those closest to Ava see her entire form shimmer with divine light, almost as if a pillar of moonlight falls down and illuminates her. Again she utters celestial words, and as she does the light spreads out to Liafial's unconscious form, erasing much of the heavy bruising visible on his face. The serene cleric then turns to the roc and all of the light surrounding her coalesces towards her hands before blasting off at the bird, leaving a shining light where it impacts.
Clermar: Your sword again finds its mark, cutting into the bird. The impact causes the beast to sway, and you can tell the buzzard is edging closer to death.
Liafial: Darkness consumes you, and the cold begins to seep into your bones. But as you begin to fade, a silver moon bursts into your mind's eye. The light is soothing, and you feel it spread through your body. As your vision swims back into focus, you realize the moon grows more detailed until you realize it is your companion Ava, standing next to you. The sounds of battle rush back to your ears as your are thrust back to consciousness.

The blast of divine magic seems to catch the roc's attention. With Clermar in it's talon it flaps its wings to bound towards Ava, pecking at her with it's bloody beak and at the same time slamming the warrior in its grasp down into the dirt.
Beak Attack at Ava: 10 Damage: 11
Clermar takes bludgeoning damage from the slam: 14
Lah'thys: As the pale wave of Ava's light washes over Lah'thys she grins with malice. "At last!" she says as she charges past the cleric. Wading into the melee, the warrior sweeps her glaive low. The blade cuts across the leg holding Clermar, nearly amputating it. The half-elf drops out of the bird's grasp as it hops on it's remaining leg and turns to face the new foe. This only serves to expose it's breast, which Lah'thys slashes up across sending blood spraying up to rain down on the party. Her anger still not satisfied, the vampire jumps, rising up unnaturally high, and spins her weapon around to plunge the shaft into the fresh wound. It sinks in up to the blade and elicits a piercing shriek from the buzzard.
There is a tiny moment of stillness before the great bulk of the bird crashes to one side. Lah'thys dislodges her glaive and looks to the party. Despite her artful killing blow, there is a look of shame on her face. "Never have I been paralyzed like that, so frozen with fear that I could not act. It is disgraceful, for it is my duty to protect you all in these lands. But... I'm grateful to see all of your prowess in battle. Really, I'm quite impressed." She looks intently at each of you as she says all of this. "Lets regroup quickly. I'll butcher some of this overgrown fowl for dinner."
"I still have some energy left if anyone is in need?" Ava says, walking over as the group coalesces. Spotting Bram, she looks on quizzically as her head tilts to one side.
Bramlooks down at his body, and just notices what is going on.
A look that says, "What!? No, not again!" comes over Bram.
He gives a shake and a shiver runs down his body, transforming him back into the Bramyou all know.
"Ok that is starting to concern me a little now."
Bramexamines his hand and arm, transforming it back and forth between different looks, before restoring it to normal.
"I don't know what's causing all the eyes, and mouths... I mean how does that even work? Its not like I have airways in my arms and legs!"
Bramwalks back over to have a look at the giant bird.
"That has got to be the biggest bird I have ever seen."
"So that makes two giant versions of creatures, we have run into now. First was the giant worm in the mine, and now this. Maybe we should start keeping a list, see how many types we can collect."
Clermar sits up and cracks his neck before letting out a exasperated sigh, "Whooph, I haven't been tossed around like that since I was a little scrapper pickin' fights with kids twice my size. Though this beasty has 'em beat."
He gets up, still stretching stiff joints and makes his way over to Liafial. He slaps him on the back a bit and says, "How you feeling there bud? You made flying around up there look so fun, I guess I had to try it myself!" He laughs but it is cut short by a pain in his chest.
"Guess we both owe Ava a bit for keepin' us alive, I'm gonna sit for a while until that bird is cooked."The half-elf props himself up by a rock and tries to rest a bit.
Nean turns to the vampire Lady, giving her a look as if reappraising her. "You surely outshone us there, though.." He says with a raised eyebrow, while he dismisses his soul knifes. "Just a little, of course." And his look transforms into a grin. "So, is this the part where you tell us this thing was just a foretaste, and everything else from now on will be much harder to best?"

On his turn, Liafial will drink a potion of healing (action or bonus action?) to regain 7 hp.
If he has an action, and is within melee of the Roc, he will disengage.
Finally, he will move into the fog cloud.

Ospos will inspire Clermar (bonus action: grants 1d6 for an ability check, attack roll or saving throw)...

With a look of relief, Bram calls out to Ava, giving here a thumbs up and a smile.
"Mahi whakamiharo Ava! Kei te patu tatou i nga manu inaianei!"
Turning back to the black bird, Bram again uttering arcane words, lets off another blast of green eldritch magic at it.

"We really do owe you a great deal Ava."
Bram finds a seat near Clermar and pulls out his ocarina and begins to play some music to try and calm everyone after the fight.
