Sitting at one of the tables near the door is a human typical of a place like this - dark, greasy hair, dark eyes, tattered leather armor, rapier at his side. He takes a drink of sip of his ale and it looks as if winces at the taste, choking it down.
At the question of food from the goblin, the man looks at the contents of his mug and sighs - one doesn't need to be a diviner to predict the quality of the meal to vome. "I suppose it will be better than nothing." He sits back in his chair and scratches his chin. "I'll check those papers too. I'm curious to see who's on whose shit list."
A goblin waddles to you with a plate in hands, a hump of meat on it. The goblin sets the plate in front of you and looks around for a bit before picking up a stray paper, "Kill paper!", the goblin leaves the paper besides your plate. The meat is cooked on some ends and some parts are raw. The note is still somewhat legible, mostly just dirt covering their words.
Hadral reads one by one the kill papers passed to him and talks to the goblin once more.
"Find me a couple of people around here that seems good enough to fulfill this contract with me without fuss."
He hands the second note regarding the caravan given to him while he reaches his pouch and grabs two gold coins.
"Of course, your services will be paid."
Hadral knows money talks, especially those of the goblin kind. He show the coins on his palm as he tries to entice the goblin's eyes with the promised reward and immediately closes it after catching it's attention.
"Don't forget the food I ordered earlier when you come back here. My owl and I need to eat something not just edible but also good to the palate."

Seeing these lowest members of society, Onyx peers on to take notice of each individual the frail cowering as the more muscular walk past as if anticipating a smack for being in their way. he chuckles and thinks to him self, If only these men have seen what I have seen I doubt they would walk so tall. showing off their scars as badges of honor, scars only mean you are not very good at defending yourself. All of these men are weak...
As the goblin scurry's past him he gestures for him, asking for those papers, also asking about the food and drink he had asked for with a stern look.

Pavla sits in a chair right next to Valraka. Now that Pavla is seated, you realize how short the human is. Pavla is barely 5 feet tall, though the bulkiness of Pavla's vest makes Pavla look bulky, so an estimation of Pavla's size is very difficult.
"Where is my food?" Pavla mutters to no one in particular, pushing a strand of grimy black hair out of one eye with an equally grimy finger.

A tiefling of about 35 years. Dark red skin. My red eyes shimmer like fire behind two black pupils. A Dark brown robe with a high collar covering common clothing. My dagger handles exposed on my belt. I don’t give any indication of ill will when you sit down. I have my arcane forces rod leaned against the table. It’s wooden with a leather wrap near the top. At the top is a small brass dragon head formed around the wood. The bottom has a small brass cap to protect the end.
I look over Palva as he sits at the table, noting how young he is. “What’s your story? You don’t look old enough to be in these parts. Kids like you often don’t come back when they’re sent out there seeking their fortune.”
“Well that’s good. There’s no fortunes to be made around these parts. Shit jobs for shit pay. I keep hoping for the big score. Start up my own guild....” I shake off my out loud thoughts. ”Where the **** is this goblin with my drink and papers?” I look toward the hole the goblin made this way into. “What are you drinking tonight lad? I’m convinced the ale is basically watered down goblin piss, but you get used to it. I don’t think the water down here is much better.” I take a gold coin from my pocket and begin to roll it between my fingers.

Catching the eye of the yuan-ti motioning in his direction, he gives the man a nod and heads over to his table. "Hello, friend?" He waits to be invited to take his seat.
You remember working a few bills for the man. Bills for armor and weapons, custom fitted and designed for him. The man had seem to taken up adventuring as a hobby, using his wealth to procure the best gear one can buy here. Though rumor has it, he quit as soon as he began. Something about delving into dirty caves and filthy towns not agreeing with him.
Vrisk emerges from the hole, clutching a few papers in his hand as he rushes back to you. "Vrisk sorry! Sorry! Spiders in sewers, hungry beasts!" He sets the papers down in front of Valrakas. He looks to the other goblins, screaming at them, "I say bring food! Bring food now!", the goblins from before scramble in, platters of food atop their head as they push them onto the table. The food, if you can call it that, smells...edible. That mass of meat and moldy bread sit in the center, somehow missing the flies that should fly above them. The goblins come around again with mugs of ale, thankfully just watered down, as you can see from the paler color of the ale. The notes read,
Note 1:
Kill Trask Chinta, escaped indentured servant and insurgent among them
Location: Hut along the Silver Coast
Reward: 300 gold
Note 2:
Kidnap a few beauties from Misty Mire, preferably tieflings
Location: Bring about 5 to Phear Manor, tell guards 'May Tyr not see.' to pass.
Reward: 200 per person, 300 in I especially favor them.

"Don't forget the food I ordered earlier when you come back here. My owl and I need to eat something not just edible but also good to the palate."
The goblin hurries back with platter of...squashed spider, freshly charred from a blazing touch. You spot the legs twitch a bit as the goblin sets it in front of you, obviously proud of its fast and improvised work. As you stare at the mess of a meal, another goblin tugs at your armor, and points to the group of the tiefling, a human, and a rather odd sight to see down here, an aasimar. Perhaps the goblin thinks they're a capable bunch?
A tall, slender figure with emerald green skin is already seeated at one of the tables, he has a mug in yhe table and the paper just below it, folded.
He looks at the gathering of people thst is entering the tavern and study it. After a few mnutes he calls one of the goblins and says to him.

I toss Vrisk the gold coin I had been playing with. “You must be the boss around here by the looks of things.” I give him a wink before I swipe the kill papers up from the table. I take a quickly look them over. After reading the first note I turn to Palva. “How do you feel about killing?” I give the kid a little chuckle. I look over the other two seeing they’re the same town. Trying to recall if I know anything about Misty Mires. I fold the notes and slide them into my robe before anyone has a chance to ask questions. Don’t need wandering eyes taking a look.
Disgusted by the twitching spider, Hardal leaves it to his owl if it wants to eat it before joining him.
Picking up the three notes given to him, he left the two gold coins he promised at the table and saunters to the assimar's table. He slowly walks toward the person to assure him of his prescence and lack of ill will.
"If you want work, follow me so I don't have to explain this twice in a row and as soon as possible."
Hardal then leaves the person and saunters toward the tiefling and human's table. He then takes an empty seat and begins to explain his reason for coming to them.
"I am Hardal and I'm looking for someone willing to work in a group. I paid the goblins to lead me to the few capable people around here. Rewards will be split at my decision, to be as equal as possible.
I can assure you that this job needs not one of the targets left alive. More details will be given as soon as I can convince a couple more people since the job can't be accomplished by a few number of people.
If this ends on a high note, I'll gladly work with you people in the near future.
Of course, I accept any recommendations you have for the people you think that can take the job."
Hardal sits patiently as he waits for their replies.
I lean forward across the table looking at Hardal in the eyes. “Well mate, you’re going to have to spill a few more details before I’m to agree on anything. Especially my end of the cut. My suggestion is you don’t try to pull one over on us.” I point over to Pavla while maintaining eye contact with Hardal. “I’ll have him ******* kill you.” I lean back and smirk at Hardal. “Then I’ll feed you to this quiet psycho over here,” nodding to the aasimar.
Steal Revunt Varnisk's contract concerning ownership to arriving indentured servants shipment.
Reward: 400 gold
Dead drop: Crate wrapped in a cloak under the 2nd pier at the docks.
