Seeing the wolf pained Vilk. Such a mighty creature should not be in the service of such.....animals. With a some regret, Vilk pulled an arrow, knocked it, and let lose. The arrow struck the wolf in the chest letting out a howl of pain. Yet no where near as deep a pain as Vilk felt in his heart.

As the wolf was struck by the arrow is reared its head and tried to brings it maw down on the dwarf to just brush off Ivor's armor (9 to hit). Then from behind the wolf, 2 goblins appear, 1 larger than the other, and they both rush forward to the group wielding scimitars. They are about 10 feet from Ivor and 30 feet from the rest of the group.
Kazander rushes forward to stand beside Ivor. "Together we shall triumph over these denizens of darkness!" He stabs his rapier deep into the wolf's flank, keeping its bulk between himself and the oncoming goblins.

Thalressa moves up closer to take another shot at the wolf. She draws back her bow without an arrow knocked in it, this time a tattoo on her wrist lights up and an arrow of pure energy appears. But as she lets go to fire it, the arrow quickly dissipates a few feet in front of her. Clearly she lost her focus and completely whiffed using her ability.

Ivor, once again feeling a sort of blessing from the bard, attacks the huge wolf in front of him. As the last time he had tried to use the blessing nothing had come of it, Ivor relied on his own skill to hit the beast in front of him. He swung true, hitting the wolf in the head with a sickening crunch. The animal fell to the ground, unmoving. Ivor almost felt bad for the creature. Almost. Ivor turned to face the two goblins coming towards him, moving 15 feet in the direction of the larger goblin.

Seeing the wolf die in this disgusting hole in the earth filled Vilk with great sadness. So much so, that when he went to take a shot at the bigger goblin, his arrow flew far from the mark. Gritting his teeth; Vilk focused himself forcing his emotions to be buried til after the battle.

Upon watching his wolf die, the Large goblin of the two goblins moves forward first yelling profanity and saying "You killed my wolf! All of you will die today!" He swings twice at Ivor who is the closest to him. Both swings just deflect off Ivor's armor and shield as the second goblin moves up to attack Ivor as well with a scimitar. The smaller goblins swing connects with Ivor's side in the soft spot of the armor and manages to take something out of him (5 damage). They both just laugh as they see this dwarf get injured by their blows. They then both disengage from Ivor and move back to the entrance of the grove and taunt him with more laughter.
Kazander takes a moment to gauge the positioning of the combatants, and then murmurs, "Aegnor Shee ..." A violet glow radiates in the air around the goblins, almost like glittery flames. Can their agility keep the flickering glow from enveloping their forms?
The ethereal glow embraces the fatter goblin all around, while the smaller fellow is able to wriggle and shake off the magical light!

Thal sets her sights upon the larger of the two goblins, making a quick motion as she brings her bow up another small flower appears but this time upon the goblin.
She draws her bow back, having it ignite once again with energy and she let's fire. This one is on point but right before it strikes, the oaf grabs his comrade and uses him as a shield. The goblins armor easily absorbs the arrow of white energy which briefly sticks before disappearing.
Ivor runs forward to the goblin that is quite clearly a bigger threat, and bigger in a more general sense, and swings his Morningstar just as the goblin puts his comrade, whom he had been using as a shield, down. Ivor struck the goblin in the head, dealing a blow that staggered the big goblin back a foot or two, hurting it quite a bit. Ivor raised his shield as he prepared for retaliation.

As the goblins dodge and reflect the repeated blows, they both swing and manage to decimate through the armor of Ivor (6 damage from the Big goblin, 8 Damage from the Small Goblin) and he falls to the ground unconscious bleeding out.
Kazander growls in fury as the goblins gang up on his dwarven companion. He charges forward, feints an attack at the little guy, then twirls and buries his rapier in the belly of the fat goblin! As he attacks, his voice reaches a sweet tenor octave and magical energy flows from him into Ivor, knitting several of his wounds.

Thalressa draws back another shot, moving slightly to hopefully gain a better angle. She lets loose her arrow of brilliant light. But alas once again the big one pulls up his minion and blocks the shot.
Ivor felt two scimitars bite into his skin, finding chicks in his armor, and Ivor fell. Hid vision went black, but only for a few seconds, as he soon felt a warm glow spread through his body. Ivor opened his eyes, to find himself laying in the bloodstained snow, two goblins emitting a nasty scent in front of him and his morningstar and shield to either side of him. The goblins obviously didn't expect him to get back up. Ivor could still feel the pain from his wounds, and it was a sharp throb. Ivor stood and tried to attack the big goblin, who was easy to see and attack due to some magic of sorts, but his attack pierced only air, because Ivor could not possibly aim well in such pain. Ivor stepped back, and steelled himself, until the pain faded to a dull ache, easily ignorable.
