The zombies then move forward another 10 feet from the cart and the skeletons laid waste into Vilk with two finely placed shots into his chest. He then fell unconscious from the pain and damage. Thalressa then fires off an eldritch blast and shatters the bones of the one that lost its ribs earlier to Vilk. However, there is still one skeleton standing alongside the two zombies who are about 10 feet from Ivor, and 20 feet from the rest of the group. The Skeleton is standing in front of the cart and 10 feet behind the two zombies.
Kaz looses another arrow, and this time it rips through bone and ice, and the skeleton staggers in its tracks. He zigs forward and drops to the ground, and hums a soft magical note that knits together some of Vilk's wounds.

Ivor lunged at zombie he had been attacking for the last ten or so seconds, and delivered a crushing blow into it's rotting stomach. With an inhumane effort, Ivor then pulled his mace out and swung again with maximum force, catching the zombie in it's neck, so that it's head almost went flying. And yet it still moved. Ivor prepared to attack the zombie again.

The zombies now crowd around Ivor and try fruitlessly to swipe at him. At the same time, the last skeleton impacts an arrow into Kazandar while getting exploded by Thal's Eldritch Blast.
After feeling the healing energies that Ivor had givin, Vilk quickly got up and knocked and loosed an arrow. Unfortunately VIlk shot wildly, as if he wasn't aiming at anything at all. He cursed himself and hoped he wouldn't make the same mistake again.

Ivor, seeing the zombie he was attacking fall dead once more, turned to the other of it's kind. Ivor swung his Morningstar, hittting the zombie in it's chest and forcing it back a foot. Ivor removed his spiked mace from the zombie, a sizable hole left behind by the action.

The zombie, not fazed much by the now large injury to its chest, swings its arm and slaps Ivor's head hard. Thal then swirls up a blast of eldritch energy and deals a sizeable blow to the undead's shoulder, but it still stands.
Vilk saw the attacks his comrades had made and was surprised by the resilience of this undead horror. He knocked and arrow and took careful aim. Releasing the arrow. It flew hitting the zombie in the eye!
As the final zombie dies, the mayor comes forward and comments "Alright, let's keep on going, loot the cart and continue. We must not slow our pace, the snow might keep us from continuing." The blizzard at that moment seems to intensify and vision remains limited to 60 feet.
Listening to the mayor, Vilk began looking through the carter. Yet since Vilk was from the woodlands and living off the land, he had no idea what he was looking at because of the dark. "We need some light in this accursed place."

As Vilk pokes his head inside the tipped caravan, he quickly and easily spots a chest with a few spell scrolls (Comprehend Languages, Goodberry, Animal Messenger) in it and a small sack of 4 rations of dried meats and fruits along with a full, but frozen waterskin.
"Here we have some provisions that will help us through the journey." Vilk continued to move on. "We should continue forward. It'll be nice to get out of this goblin hole."

Kazander, uncharacteristically silent, picks through the undead leavings for good arrows -- then picks up his pace, catching up with Vilk at a trot. "Sorry, my friend. Those creatures were... unnerving to me. Are such horrors common in these parts?"

Vilk was also considered at the sight of the living dead but dwelling on it would not help. Vilk began to move following the mayor and his companions.
