There appears to be some sort of hidden door over here, but agreed, finding these two seems like the best course of action. Once we find them then we could have a look around?
Ragdor draws a crossbow bolt from his quiver, uses it to scratch an arrow pointing to the lever block for the hidden door, in hopes of marking it for Lady Portia to check for traps, just incase we decide to investigate.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I explain to Xanth "This whole area is known as the Ashen Plain. It is said that long ago a dragon named Ashardalon scorched the lands around here, leaving it as not much more than scrub lands we see today".
I will give checking for traps a go on the masonry block / lever : 13
GLYNT will notice that when he pulls on the lever ever so slightly, he sees a needle positioned to strike anyone who pulls the lever out fully. (Easy trap to detect.)
GLYNT believes if he pushes the lever the needle will not be released.
(To move things along:)
GLYNT pushes on the lever. The door opens.
GLYNT sees a damp and cold pocket chamber. The skeletons of three long-dead archers slump against rubble-filled arrow slits along the east and south wall.
Portiawill enter the secret chamber and look for any treasure that was worth making a secret room for, and failing that, will assume it was secret just to have a secret guard room to fire at enemies through the slits. Investigation: 7 (1+6)
I will carefully enter, holding onto my spear with light cast on it to help take in the contents of the room, as I enter I will look over the door and around the floor for more traps.
Edited to add the roll which I forgot - Investigation - 13

Round 2 -
I will exclaim in pain - as that hit I just took really hurt.
Then I will use Vicious Mockery (Cantrip/60ft range) on Skeleton #2 "You're not a complete idiot...Some parts are obviously missing!" Wisdom Save - DC = 12, Damage on fail = 1Psychic Damage and on a failed Save it will have Disadvantage on it's next turn. Successful Save = No Effect at all.
(OOC – Portia and Ragdor cannot go to Vegas with me. 😉)
(My luck is normally better. Take the rats for example with my first shot...)
If she is still conscious by her next turn (one more hit will down her) Portiawill take a couple of retaliatory stabs at skeleton 2 while wincing in severe pain.
1, 24(19+5) to hit, 5 (2+3) +6 (sneak attack damage) points of piercing damage 2, 25(CRIT!) to hit, 12 (MAX DAMAGE!) piercing damage. (And there is the luck I was talking about!)

GLYNT will be able to read the Draconic. It reads “Ashardalon.” You will know this name as the name of a legendary ancient Red Dragon.
RAGDOR will notice a stone a masonry block that may also serves as a lever, which can be pushed in on the left side or pulled out from the right.
Ragdor draws a crossbow bolt from his quiver, uses it to scratch an arrow pointing to the lever block for the hidden door, in hopes of marking it for Lady Portia to check for traps, just incase we decide to investigate.
"I feel like we should check the hidden door. Also who is Ashardalon so old dead dragon. "
I explain to Xanth "This whole area is known as the Ashen Plain. It is said that long ago a dragon named Ashardalon scorched the lands around here, leaving it as not much more than scrub lands we see today".

GLYNT will notice that when he pulls on the lever ever so slightly, he sees a needle positioned to strike anyone who pulls the lever out fully. (Easy trap to detect.)
I will explain what I am seeing and say "Portia, would you like to try and disarm this or should I? I can assist you if you like, or vice versa"
GM_Mazra - do I get a sense of what would happen if I pushed the lever in instead? or is that just the natural resting place for the lever?
GLYNT believes if he pushes the lever the needle will not be released.

Ragdor will stand at the doorway, ready his hammer and bless spell just in case the skeletons to decide to start moving...
(Moved tokens to logical locations on updated map.)
Well, they started moving. The three skeletons animate, pinpoints of red fire sparkling in their eye sockets as they rise.
ROLL FOR INITIATIVE
(Go ahead with your Round One actions.)
Skeletons Initiative 14
Initiative 16
Xanth will try to swing over the Glynt head at the skeleton.
Attack: 24 Damage: 12
Initiative 22
Action: Glynt will Stab with his Spear, if it hits leave it there, on a fail I just drop it - 17 // Damage 1
Movement: I will move behind Ragdor and Xanth
Initiative 5
On my turn my engage a skeleton, swinging warhammer while yelling "Hammer Time!!"
attack roll 10
damage, if connected, 10
Portia initiative: 4 (A nat 1 on initiative is better than on an attack or save... I spoke too soon)
When it finally reaches her turn, she will pull her two shortswords out, swiping at the nearest skeleton:
Attack 1: To hit: 9
Attack 2: To hit: 6
Not sure why I rolled damage for either, especially the nat 1.

GLYNT 20 XANTH 16 SKELETONS 14 RAGDOR 5 PORTIA 4
ROUND ONE
GLYNT jabs at the first SKELETON with his spear. He then backs up behind RAGDOR and XANTH.
The first SKELETON takes a swipe at GLYNT with its short sword as the Gnome backs away. ATT 19 DMG 5
XANTH then strikes a powerful blow against the first SKELETON. Bits of bone flake off, but the skinny undead continues forward.
The first SKELETON then steps into the doorway vacated by GLYNT. It attacks RAGDOR. ATT 24 DMG 5
The second one moves up and attacks PORTIA. ATT 18 DMG 5 (PORTIA will have partial cover +2 to AC)
The third one pulls out its shortbow and fires at the Dwarf Cleric though there is no way this mindless thing would know what RAGDOR is. ATT 22 DMG 5
RAGDOR will take a swing at the first one with his hammer. But misses. (Too bad too, it is vulnerable to the hammer.)
PORTIA will pull out both short swords and stab at the first one, but she almost fumbles one of the swords in her attempt to strike.
(BTW - Clicking the “Zoom In’ about three times does wonders to be able to see the numbers on the tokens.)
(Go ahead with your ROUND TWO actions. SKELETON one has 1 point left. So, it is likely not to last long.)

Damage for the Vicious Mockery 2 (if it fails the save and isn’t immune to Psychic Damage).
