(Chief Durnn was the Hobgoblin Chief who ruled in the room with the whole in the center. This Goblin does not know he is dead.)
ERKY will ask more about Belak. The GOBLIN says, "Belak is like him,"He points at XANTH. He then points to the north (west on current map) as to the direction Belak would be located. The GOBLIN has never been to where Belak is located, or seen the grove, or the great tree.
(To move things along. You can continue to talk with the Goblin too if you like. I will assume that Ragdor will make a perception check with advantage and will not find a trap on the next door. The door is not locked.)
XANTH opens the door and sees three SKELETONS with shovels or rakes—are at work, clearing scorched plants. Each are accompanied by a TWIG Creature. The third TWIGCreature notices the door open. When it sees that XANTH is not Belak, it attacks.
ERKY urges the now conscious GOBLIN to head to the colony above and not cause harm to others. It runs off toward the colony.
The party then heads to the next door. When they open it, they find bushes and bones working hard cultivating various spores, molds, and funguses. The bushes and bones attack.
GLYNT moves up and fires an arrow over XANTH hitting one of the TWIG monsters. It falls.
BONES enters the room.
RAGDOR and XANTH block the door.
The first SKELETON moves to the door. BONEStakes a swat at it, but misses. RAGDOR doesn’t miss and shatters bones with his blow. XANTH, seeing a SKELETON approach, shifts to the blunt end of his Glaive, and shatters this first of the undead in the room. (Doubled roll damage for the attacks with bludgeoning weapons.)
The remaining SKELETONs attack, one on RAGDOR,and one on BONES.
BIX is unable to squeeze into a spot with the hefty RAGDOR and the human mountain known as XANTH blocking the door. (BIX could instead use a range weapon in the round.)
ERKY tries to bring down a Sacred Flame upon one of the TWIGGIES. The small bush was able to just get out of the way.
The TWIGGIES then move and attack BONES.
ROUND TWO
