SURPRISE ROUND

Twig creatures emerge from the bushes, shrubs, saplings, and attack.

ROUND ONE

The TWIG BLIGHTs continue their attack.  The sixth one joins the first and second against XANTH.  The seventh one joins the third one against BONES.  The tenth attacks GLYNT with the eighth engaging.  The ninth one comes up on RAGDOR from behind to join the fourth and fifth ones.

(Again, “Zoom In” will help see the numbers on the small tokens.  Map updated.  Everyone’s turn!  If both attacks hit Bones, that maybe it for the Skeleton as he had some damage on him.)

Glynt will attack Twiggy 10 with his Shortsword

Ragdor swings at one, 15 to hit for 3 pts of damage. didn't we have a potion of fire breathing somewhere?

Xanth "Time to prune!"

Bix, being invisible, moves towards #8 and #9.  She uses her rapier on #8  22 to hit for 10pts damage and then a backhanded slash to #9 with Portia's Wrath 16 to hit for 5 pts damage.  I do not have any fire, but was that hot enough?  

ROUND TWO

ROUND ONE

GLYNT's shortsword just glanced off the tenth TWIGGY.

BIX emerges and moves between the eighth and ninth TWIG BLIGHTS.  She nimbly dispatches the eighth with her rapier, and the ninth with Portia’s Wrath.  Both are now a pile of twigs.

Seeing that there is still one on GLYNT, ERKY moves next to BIX and hits the tenth TWIGGY with a Ray of Frost.  Amazingly ERKY hit the woody little creature to the point that it too is now a pile of twigs.

XANTH prunes the first one and then the second one.  They will not require further pruning.

However, RAGDOR does some pruning on the fourth one, but it still needs a little more trimming. 

ERKY will call out that he does not have the Fire Breath potion but does still have some flasks of oil.  However, he will say, “I think we can handle these little creatures.”

ROUND TWO

The little creatures are still pests, as the sixth and seventh one’s attack XANTH; and the third, fourth, and fifth attack RAGDOR.

(At least you took out half of them in Round One.  Every is up for Round Two.)

Glynt will move to another position on the map, ensuring there's space for Bix or Erky if either comes this way and attacks Twiggy 5  with his shortsword.

Ragdor moves to the closest one and swings, 19 to hit for 4 pts of damage, twig blight take flight first twig I've smashed tonight! he let's out a belly laugh, maybe I should have been a bard uh good master Glynt?

Bix moves over between #7 and #3.  Sticks and stones! She slices her rapier across #7 - Nat 20+5=25 to hit for 13 pts damage.  Then stabs #3 with Portia's Wrath - 22 to hit for 3pts of damage.

ROUND TWO

After the shrubbery, GLYNT moves to attack the fifth one but misses.

BIX moves ups between some shrubs.  She then slices the seventh on in half with her rapier.  She cuts branches off the third one, but it is still moving.

ERKY moves and fires another Ray of Frost, this time, at the fifth one.  He hits it, but not solidly enough to end it.

(Taking a little fiat with this one.)

XANTH turns the sixth shrub into kindling.  He then takes a step and finishes off the third TWIGGY.

RAGDOR does the same to the fourth TWIGGY with a bit of a limerick.

ROUND THREE

The last remaining TWIG BLIGHT disengages to the south.  If it could talk it would be going, "Help, Help, Help!"
