Valar is still under the effect of fear, he is wondering why his faith seemed to have failed him and trying to find some solace until the fear dissipates
Alsen has come back now, "Fire! Fire will take the beast down faster." He's gotten over his initial fear and is now giving advice.
As the only person who hit him again this turn, Chop is going to throw another hook at Thelanis.
Rotting Fist against Thelanis Attack: 8 Damage: 6 Bludgening plus 12 Necrotic. Also, if Thelanis hasn't yet suffered the rot, she must make a DC 12 Con Save or be cursed with it.
Amiz and Draíocht's attacks are the end that Chop's spirit was looking for, he falls to the ground, dead in undeath. Alsen let's out a breath, "You did it. I can't believe it but you did it. I'm sorry I lost my cool there for a second. I used to be a lot better at this, brave even. But after what The Eaters did to..." He trails off, "I've lost my nerve a bit. It's why I've not made a move against them until now. But I think we may have a chance, by helping you I may finally find peace." He takes a breath and straightens his jacket, "So where to next?"
While you deliberate your next move's in the dungeon, I need to ask a question. Did any of you fail a saving throw against Chop's rot?
Valar looks down at Chop, and mutters "Good riddance foul beast," as he cleans off his sword. He nods to the group. "Good fight, well done. I am sorry that I seem to have lost my head back there."
Ok, so what is the plan moving forward? Ahead of you is Chop's Shop; where you found the Nothic, and The Pit; where the dwarves were held captive. You know that g'Ruek and the axe are further down the shaft. You could also go and explore the back entrance to the mine where you came in the first time, although that would involve trying to cross the main mine shaft which is tricky without the lift to use as a bridge.
Draíocht looks at the weakened Valar, "After that battle, perhaps a short rest might help you get your strength back?" suggests Draíocht. He eyes the shaft, "Question is how we'll get down there. I could try making a web. Or perhaps we could put our ropes to good use?"

Valar gives you a weak smile, but shakes his head. "No, its not a physical injury, just the thought that I became frightened has shaken my resolve a small bit. But I will trust in my faith and my sword arm."
Seeing the fist at Thelanis Draíocht says to Amiz, "Perhaps we should've followed you." He then strikes out with his staff again.

So is it a Short Rest or repelling down the shaft?
"We should make sure there isn't anything else in here, then get going down the shaft."

Alright that sounds like a plan. Are you going to go into Chop's Shop first or down into The Pit?
