Sparhawk for certain would trigger an aoo by retreating. People generally don't want to trigger these, so I did not ask explicitly. I did ask which side and show a map where I think people are.
I'm assuming line of sight from the corner prior to the slime moving just now, thats mostly what informed my positions.
I simply can't wait and I'm not botting PCs.
The slime acted first, the rest were surprised. Round 2 tess could do the spiritual weapon and round three is current, so she can do what she wants here. If she wants to retcon a spiritual weapon attack last round, I'd allow it. If she's not here the whole combat, then she's just not here.

Sparhawk misty steps 30 feet behind (north) in the cave away from the slime the other players. Maybe it will come toward him and way from the others. He draws two more arrows and fires
Arrow 1: To hit 17 with precise attack, damage, 13, second arrow: to hit: 8, damage 13. (bonus action: Misty Step, 30 feet)
(ooc: didn't the ooze fail the last saving throw vs. my ray of sickness and therefore has disadvantage on attack rolls and skill checks until the end of my next turn?... posts 814 and 816 respectfully.)
I thought u rolled with da, but on doubkechwxk, fumbkefingers here type 'ad' (unfortunate that it's tbe same 2 letters.) which would explain the crit. Drop the crit damage if this reroll hits. Also, Take an inspiration.

Tess is still up. Map mostly unchanged, but Sparhawk is north of the ooze, separated from the rest of the party.
Sparhawk yells at the slime, trying to gain its attention. He remains out of its reach, 25 feet away. He takes two more shots with his crossbow, hoping it is beginning to weaken.
The black pudding bubbles and puzzles as the warlocks magical attack robs the animate slime of life, leaving the black blob to congeal into a puddle the texture of a runny egg. It's acidity possibly neutralized with the ooze's death, the liquid remains continue to occupy a ten foot section of the tunnel's floor. Sparhawk is on the unobstructed side of the tunnel, others can jump over or find some other creative way to pass, or take their chances with stepping through the dead thing.
The area to the north of the slime tunnel finds a roundabout to the left, leading to a network of paths that eventually lead north. Navigating these takes five minutes unless you have a skill or make a check that could benefit your navigation of this section, should you choose to go this way.
If, instead, you pass the roundabout and head to the right, the path forks again: to the right toward the entrance cavern, with its many doors, or left to parts unknown.
"Well, those things are awful. I used to carry a mace with me for just such a creature, as swords cut them into two and they they both attacks. Anyone in need of healing?" Captain Sparhawk says, quite irritated by the black puddings attacks.
The acid burns covering the small gnomes body might be obvious since Koselig is below half hp.
"Next time I'll know to keep my distance."

But first he will cast Healing Word on himself for 8 hp.
"Let me see if I can find any traps this way."
