Zinzenzax heads over to Lothar like a kid at grandma's table looking for scraps, "oh the gizzard looks delicious, the hearts are very nice... yum yum these were healthy nice birds. Oh can I have those Zeezee can gnosh on them."
Eron, Greyhawk: Tides of War. Leif, Tomb of Horrors. Zinzenzax, Dragons of Stormwreck Isle. Sha-gravis, Heavy is the Head.Chase, mamoduck’s Lost Mine of Phandelver.
Borvnir is very happy with his kill, and glad to get back to some slaying, but then realises he was in combat for a reason...he scratches his head with a claw before remembering Oh yeah! We were searching the captain's quarters! He heads back in from the deck and reminds the party, telling them 'I got the killing blow so I get dibs on any treasure, y'hear?', before searching the place thoroughly himself, his senses still honed from combat, eyes narrowed and snout sniffing. [Investigation: Nat 20 for 19 in total, or if it's Perception, 23]
Borvnir tosses aside the dagger since he's already got one, and has no care at all for filthy tools in the bag (writing and reading is a sign of weakness, after all), so he also leaves them to one side for whoever wishes to take them. He's pretty happy with his findings in the pouch though, so says 'We can split this later, but I'll keep hold of it for now', with no intention of splitting it unless someone remembers to bring it up. He then takes a look at the compass, wondering whether to hack the desk to pieces with his axe to access it, but hesitates in fear of ruining or breaking the item accidentally.
Lothar picks up the discarded dagger and tries out the edge, shaving bits off the carcass of an eagle. Curious about the compass Borvnir is looking at, he examines how it was inlayed. (Could he use Druidcraft to loosen it's bonds) he wonders.
As Borvnir tosses aside the cartographer's tools, Zinzenzak will try being stealthy in his new boots (stealth 23 with disadvantage!) he is absolutely convinced they are boots of stealth now... he reach's out and snatches up the fancy tool set. (added Cartographer's tools to inventory)

Cherry has a bemused look on her face as Zin starts prowling all sneaky like around the cabin. She eyes Borvnir's take of the pouch but focuses on the compass. "I've got a crowbar we could use on that."
Lothar drapes his bear skin around the compass leaving it exposed. Heating it up with druidcraft. Cold without his skin, he places his hands on the compass. Hoping to expand the frame and shrink the compass a hair.
With the compass pried out, the zombies defeated, and the widow's amulet retrieved, Cherry asks, "Anything else we need to do? Or shall we head back to town and split the gold that one," she gestures at Borvnir, "is holding onto at the moment?"

"I'll cast a ritual, and look at the auras of the items on the row boat ride back." He says pulling on the rope tied to the boat. "If we can retrieve the harpy, we can make soup for everybody!"
Borvnir agrees that it's time to leave, but turns his nose at Lothar's idea for Harpy Soup. He's definitely had worse (much worse), but whilst the party are in a position of fairly good fortune, he'd rather stick to the more standard meals being offered back at the kitchens, instead of resorting to quasi-humanoid flesh. All he says is 'You can cook that if you want to, but I ain't fishing the body out for you to drag back. If you do manage to get hold of it, don't tell me if my portion's Harpy or Eagle when you serve it. Both will probably taste like chicken anyway.'

Not being concerned with worldly goods, Irtos does not dispute his claim to the treasure.
Xarkris expertly scans the room, finding a pouch, a bag, and a dagger. The pouch contains 50 gp, and the bag contains a set of cartographer's tools.

The desk also has a compass inlaid to it, which is ornate and seems like it could be valuable.

Also, the compass looks like it could be easily pried free, but not by druidcraft.

The boots are boots of elvenkind, and you have advantage on stealth checks while wearing them.
