"I think we should leave it alone for now, until we figure out what it does. For now, it seems to me that it hasn't been used yet, which is a good sign, I mean judging from what we have encountered so far, this must also be the part of something terrible."
(I greatly apologize for the delay, we recently changed up my meds and I've been having difficulties trying to make posts. You can probably guess when we made the change, by when my post started cutting off.
I don't mean to leave everyone hanging, and I'm sorry for the wait. I have worked time into my schedule, starting tomorrow, that will help me get back to posting daily. Thank you for your patience.)
Surrisk, full of conceit, replies with almost a laugh; "Why, you just walk right in across one of the bridges to reach the top of the tower. They are only covered with undead. Or you could try finding the secret entrance in at the base of the tower; where the largest of Kyristan's forces lay waiting. Either way, you'll only find Kyristan at the bottom of the tower; working on his ritual of raising the dracolichs. He's probably got at least one or two of them by now." Surrisk laughs manically; "You see, you stand no chance of defeating Kyristan; this is why I don't fear telling you this." He laughs again, even more sinisterly. (Corny, but necessary, lol.)
Lura looks to you from the doorway, her hand just finishing it's turn, the large metal door creaks open behind her, as she replies; "Nothing divine, that's for sure." She suddenly turns back at the sound of bones clattering in the distance. She says; "There is more undead ahead, be prepared to fight." From a leather pouch on her side, she draws forth a wooden handle, at it's end is a long metal chain; with a round spiked ball attached. The chain of the flail match the design of her chainmail, and were likely made together. She looks back into the darkness ahead and says; "Are you ready?"
Shalech shakes his head with a sigh of pity for Surrisk, "I wouldn't consider attacking Kirystan's tower all by myself. We will definitely set about recruiting enough help to make the army of undead an inconvenience. There's a whole bunch of large cities and nations that will not like the idea of Kirystan raising an undead army for whatever purpose.
That aside, what's the deal with the whole 'you have 3 days' ghost prince nonsense. You just do that to feel important?"
Surrisk is actually cut off guard with Shalech's question, unexpecting it. "Wha... well, I was ordered to recruit; so I did... or at least tri..." His tone suddenly changes. "Why am I explaining myself to you. It doesn't matter what it means or why it's done; those that don't want to die will follow and those that don't follow will die. It's as simple as that!"

(I have to officially put this campaign on pause. I suddenly have to move and I'm taking the opportunity to pursue my desired dreams, scary as they may be.
Sadly that is going to pull me away from here, and I don't know when I'll be able to return. I don't want to end this thread, though I will be away for months at the minimum, so I want to pause it; at least for now.)
(Took longer than I expected, but I feel that I am now able to dedicate my time here again. If people are still interested in continuing the campaign; I am glad and eager to do so. If not, I more than understand.)
( I would be glad to continue, but I would appreciate a little recap if you have some campaign notes, as it would take forever to re-read all 117 pages)
Town was being terrorized by the Ghost Prince that was threatening to kill those that refused to join him and his master. You tracked his actions back to the old Wizard's Guild where you defeated him by pinning him to the entry door; after he took over the body of a skeleton, which he appears to be trapped in.)
Nathan: "Well, Surrisk, there seems to be something wrong with your logic. You followed him, and most likely you are still going to die, unless you give us a reason why we should let you live."

Kizori nods his head vigorously, and carefully backs away from the circle. "What can I do to help?"
"Lura, do you know what this is? "

"Do you have enough holy water? I can make some more, it seems to work against the undead!"

Lure replies; "Keep it ready in case."
Lura starts to move into the strange round doorway.
Syndra says; "Watch your tone!" to Surrisk. If a skeleton could spit in reply, that is what Surrisk does.
Urselles arrives at the ground floor, seeing the skeleton pinned to the front door with most of its limbs missing.
"Careful, Lura!" Nathan readies himself to spray holy water on anything that might come at Lura, and follows her from some distance.
Shalech says, "You're explaining yourself because even you know nonsense whether you admit it or not. You also know truth, such as 'nothing is never simple'."

Brief summary.
