"Uh..." Jack starts counting on his fingers before holding them all up. "10 gold!" He has a look on his face that basically says that he has no clue how much the information should cost.
Victor just sits back down, continuing to drink, with a defeated look on his face.

Shalech laughs in a socially awkward 'I'm laughing because you made a joke, but I don't get it' way. Then, with a pissed off look, Shalech asks, "You mean 10 copper right!? Because surely someone in this town would be happy to make an easy 5 copper to give a stranger the name of a helpful wizard..."
"Uh..." A look of fear goes over Jack's face at the realization that he might lose out on the money. "Uh... 20 coppers... No." He looks like that might be too much and might be under bid. "Um, 15, no 12. 12 coppers." He smiles, then looks at you and shakes his head, feeling like even that won't work. "Okay, 10 coppers." A frown comes across his mouth; partly hidden by his large bushy mustache. Suddenly it turns into a smile once more. "Each name!" He adds with excitement.
Urselles, staring after Dar as he loudly and grumbly marches away, you get the sensation that if he wanted to help this town he probably would have done something by now.
(Theodore. Urselles and Shalech have both attempted to gain insight on your character; Shalech rolled a 16 Insight to do so. What do you feel they've gleamed off your character and intent?)

Shalech fishes in his purse and places a silver piece on the table in front of Jack, holding his index finger on top. "I'll start with one name, and it better not be Dar or Kitta. And if the wizard is... you know... actually helpful, I'll come back and buy you a drink in thanks."
Seeing the silver Jack gets eager and starts spewing names. "Well, you know Dar and Kitta, then there is V..." He stops. "You said helpful right? Um... why did you want to see them again?"

Trying to hide the frustration at being so close to a helpful name, Shalech answered Jack's question, "A bad wizard did something to me. I want a good wizard to help me understand what that wizard did and how it will affect my life." Shalech lifted up his tunic a little, giving Jack a glimpse at several surgical scars around his torso. "So, I'm not looking to hurt anyone, just need some help."
Jack, and even Victor, winch at seeing the scars. Jack speaks up; "Well, there are two other wizards in town, and one out of town. One is a former guild master and runs the components shop in town, but is about as helpful as Dar is nice; and the other is helpful, when he is focused, but happens to be Dar's brother." He doesn't go into details on the third. He appears to wait for coin before going further.
The gnome overhears from the crowd; "The wizard's guild was a bunch of old necromancers up to no good; why do they care about the wizards so much? We're better with them gone." Says a large, plump, middle aged woman with an attitude.
Shalech slides the silver next to Jack and removes his finger. "Now if you want that drink after I talk to Han and he turns out to be willing to help, I need to know where to find him."
Jack begins to speak up before Victor cuts him off; hand outstretched. "Same road as Kitta, just the first house on the right instead; right across the street from the smithy." You recall passing the smithy on the way in town.
Jack snatches up the silver and gives Victor a look like he was going to steal that too.
Victor has a look of shock, amazement, and disbelief as Shalech walks away. Jack tucks the silver into his pocket; picks up his whisky, and starts skirting away from Victor.

As you approach the described house, your eyes are first drawn to the shop two doors down from the smithy. The wood carvings and general quality of the wood structure is no less than that of a master. Designs and sculptures decorate the building and it looks like one piece of wood carved to look like nature itself had built this building.
When your eyes drift back to what is supposed to be Han's house, it is disappointing in comparison. Before you is a ramshackle twostory building made of wood and stone. The windows are blocked by dark curtains, with a small black cat sitting between the curtain and the window, a small opening behind it. This looks more like the home of a commoner than one of a wizard.
As you knock on the door, there is the sound of several items falling over, followed by footsteps and more things falling over. The door opens a bit, then stops, then you hear a grunt and the sound of things sliding as the door opens more.
Before you is a man in his fifties, looking about fifteen years younger than Dar, in a loose and rumpled light blue robe and a belt and several pouches around his waist. His brown hair is a mess and his blue eyes unfocused; though you can also see the same rugged handsomeness of his brother.
"I apologize for the bother, but I am looking for Han Malson? I am told he is an accomplished wizard that would be willing to help with a wizard problem of mine."
Shalech moves to face Jack and cut Victor off, "How much are names of wizards worth in this town?"
"Uh..." Jack starts counting on his fingers before holding them all up. "10 gold!" He has a look on his face that basically says that he has no clue how much the information should cost.
Victor just sits back down, continuing to drink, with a defeated look on his face.
