Once again, Yakeerk's arrow strikes right in the hole, and bounces around in side the armour, smashing all the bones into splinters. The skeleton falls to the floor unmoving.
The third skeleton steps forward.
Meanwhile Susk and Rask see the secret door slide open, and behind the remaining four skeletons a different looking skeleton steps into the room.
Rask's blow is blocked by the skeleton's armour, doing its job for a change instead of crumbling into rusty pieces.
Yga's targeting of her guiding bolt spell is made difficult by the four remaining skeletons in the way, and so she misses the shot (a 12 wouldn't hit the normal skeletons, and the new skeleton is benefitting from cover).
Both Susk's attacks hit the new skeleton, the first crumbling the rusted armour and exposing bone. The second attack plunges in snapping a few of those bones.
Irob will step forward and bring a metallic palm to Rask's shoulder. Releasing a burst of energy he will say "It is optimal to hit a spellcaster very hard if you wish to minimise their impact in battle" and he will cast Protection from good and evil on Rask
Undead have disadv on attacks against Rask and Rask cannot be charmed, frightened or possessed by undead.
Moving a little so she can see the newcomer everyone is speaking of Zaerra thinks Irob is on point with his comment. She is confident her next action will help that. She is ready to cast when it is her turn again.

The damaged skeleton strikes at Rask (with disadvantage)
Attack: 7 Damage: 5.
The skeleton with the robes and floppy hat seems to turn its head and look straight at Zaerra who has just moved into its view. It raises a finger, tracing arcane symbols in the air. In a hoarse voice, it speaks: "Secrets found and lost then found again. Your paltry minds cannot fathom..."
The skeleton swings at Rask and the protection magic from Irob is strong, but this time the skeleton's strike is true and the magic cannot make it waver enough. The blow hurts Rask, but she stands her ground.
When Rask is attacked Irob will use his reaction to cast silvery barbs causing the skeleton to reroll its attack. In addition Irob will look to Rask and provide her with advantage on her next attack, skill check or saving throw

The mystical gears in the air behind Irob stop and turn backwards a notch then move forward again. In time with the gears the skeleton's blow reverses out of Rask's body and then stabs again.
With a grunt of pain as the missiles slam into her, Zaerra lifts her head, staring the caster skeleton down with a defiant glare. She casts Sacred Flame! Dex save needed.
DMG 2 (seriously shit roll!)
She then steps to the side of the doorway, out of line of site. The last attack on her really hurt!

Yakeerk fires at the armoured skeleton

Worst crit damage ever. Although it could have been two 1s I guess.
