Talorin's eyes are wide in delight at the sight of Yurgojin emerging from the wreckage like a hero out of mythology. "That. Was. AWESOME!" he exclaims.
As the third piece of the rod hovered above the engine’s ceramic shell, Trystane eyed it intently. The aura around it pulsed with a subtle, dangerous energy. Determined, he gritted his teeth and reached for it, only to be struck with a sudden, searing pain as a psychic backlash ricocheted through his mind. He staggered back, snarling in frustration (16 psychic damage).
But he wasn’t one to give up easily. He shook off the pain and lunged again, feeling the pulse of psychic energy push against him even harder, a piercing ache filling his head(7 psychic damage). Still, he refused to back down. Two more attempts yielded the same burning resistance, but the pain only fueled his determination(13 and 7 psychic damage). With his focus sharpened, he finally broke through the magical trap, his fingers closing around the rod piece as he pulled it free, his head throbbing but triumphant.
Suddenly, a voice echoed through the war machine’s interior. "One minute until self-destruct."
Without a second thought, Trystane darted through the corridors as the floors buckled and shook beneath him. Dodging obstacles and leaping over debris, he reached the exit just as the machine erupted into a massive explosion, the fire licking at his heels (48 fire damage).
Breathless (though still at 109/203 HP), Trystane emerged from the wreckage, gripping the rod piece tightly in his hand. He barely paused before stepping through the portal, his mind already racing forward to the next piece in the Sigil Sanctum, the rush of victory and survival buzzing through his veins.
Necyra watched in awe as Yurgojin emerged from the wreckage, his armor charred but his spirit unbroken. A wave of relief washed over her, followed by a surge of admiration. "You hairy bastard! You never cease to frighten the bejeezus out of me," she said, her voice filled with respect.
Turning her attention to the shattered remains of the war machine, she couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. They had faced danger, overcome obstacles, and emerged victorious. With the third piece of the Rod of Seven Parts in their possession, they were one step closer to defeating Vecna.

Returning to The Wizards Three, with the third rod piece, this time when Mordenkainen grabs the new rod he immediately feels instinct take over and simply says, "Barovia" and then rushes off to the library.
When you catch up to him, you see him reading from a tome. Mordenkainen begins, "There are places, pockets, demiplanes, out there in the multiverse where an entire world hides from this realm and others. Barovia is one of those places. It's a town, a village that only exists within a tiny pocket of the plane of shadows. These pockets are sometimes called the domain of dread, there are many of them but Borovia is a special place, frozen in time with it's own history and magic.
Alustriel grabs ahold of the third rod and says, "In Barovia is a house, Death House, home to the Cult of Strahd. These cultists worship a powerful vampire who holds power over Barovia and it's there you are likely to find the fourth piece."
Mordenkainen says, "I'll open a portal to Barovia, I've been several times to Death House, it's a particular curiosity to me, but don't be fooled, it is extremely dangerous. Bring back the fourth rod piece and beware of the vampire Strahd von Zarovich."
Walking out of the wreckage, Yurgojin had hoped nobody had saw his stumble. When Necyra complimented him on getting out unharmed, which was the easy part, Yurgojin wasn't sure how to react, he wasn't a compliments sort of fellow, and he certainly didn't want to carry the gem either. So as he walked past Necyra, he tossed her the gem.
Well how bad can this 'death house' be if these mage fellas visit there occasionally. Upon arrival, Yurgojin walks towards the front of the group as is his custom. Ready to growl and holler at the mob in their way, he decides to let those with soother tounges then his to handle it.
Great, kids live in this house... Yurgojin steps through the door, flame tongue out and lit for light. Seeing the 3 priest prepare to attack, now for this house to earn its name.
Necyra caught the gem, a flicker of surprise crossing her face. She appreciated Yurgojin's gesture, his trust in her abilities. As they approached Death House, she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that hung heavy in the air.
As the mob of villagers closed in, Necyra readied herself for battle. She raised her hand, her fingers glowing with arcane energy. "Hold your weapons," she commanded, her voice firm and authoritative. "We mean no harm. We are here to help." (Persuasion vs. DC18: 3)
Necyra approached the children, offering them a reassuring smile as the white speckles on her inky black skin swirled around in amusing patters. "Don't worry," she said gently. "We'll protect you." (Persuasion vs. DC18: 15)
As the party neared the Death House, Necyra's senses heightened. The oppressive atmosphere of the house was palpable, a dark and sinister energy permeating every corner. Just her kind of neighborhood!
Before entering the Death House, Necyra crinkled up her nose, and channels divine energy, her hands glowing with a soft, ethereal light (casting Conjure Woodland Beings (6th level). With a swift gesture, she summoned four Woodland Beings from the Feywild. The Quicklingcreatures, their forms imbued with the magic of the forest, appeared around her, ready to aid in the battles that surely lay ahead.
Upon being attacked by the Priests, Necyra quickly commands her new little friends to "Attack!", her voice filled with authority. The Woodland Beings, eager to engage in combat, darted towards the house, their movements swift and graceful.
Bridgette tries to step in and help Necyra with her own Persuasion check... and also fails (DC 18 vs. 13).
"Honestly... I know she looks kind of scary, but the demon lady is telling the truth! We don't want any trouble and... oh, okay, so you guys still don't seem to believe us... um... okay, anyone else have any ideas?"

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Trystane stepped forward, his tall, half-troll frame casting a looming shadow over the angry mob. His eyes gleamed yellow-amber in the misty light, and his voice carried a low growl as he spoke.
“We don’t have time for this,” he rumbled, his claws flexing as he began to transform. His muscles bulged, and his already imposing figure became monstrous, skin thickening and his face taking on a more savage, feral appearance. The villagers recoiled slightly, murmuring among themselves, pitchforks and brooms lowering. “We’re here to deal with the real monsters,” he growled, his voice a dangerous snarl. “Unless you want me to consider you the same, step aside.”
(Intimidation: 3, if Strength based it would be with advantage for 11...)
As he approached the grim house and saw the two children, he crouched slightly, his monstrous form still towering over them but his tone unexpectedly softer. “We’ll deal with the monster,” he said simply, his gaze shifting briefly to the dark windows. Without waiting for further discussion, he strode through the front door, claws already out, the oppressive energy of the house rolling over him like a wave.
When the priests of Osybus attacked, Trystane didn’t hesitate. Leaping into action, his claws sparking with lightning as he charged the first priest. Initiative: 20 (Did we get any rest? I'm assuming that not.)

Still excited by the prospects of visiting a pocket plane, this time deliberately rather than the Shadowfell Neverwinter incident, Talorin is gazing aimlessly at the shadowy skies of Barovia before he notices the diplomatic efforts of the party aren't going well. He tries to piggyback on Trystane's attempt of physical prowress, taking on the tone of an announcer. He shimmers the glammerweave clothing kept from the Eberron trip to add a display of dazzle to his speech.
"What you just saw there folks," he gestures at Trystane's burly form, "was a genuine showing of 100% pure force of will. There's not a thing that can stop this trollblood, believe me we've seen many a thing try." Moving on he then stands in front of the Yurgojin, the half-orc towering over him. "And this here is Yurgojin. I've seen far mightier enemies than the vampire tyrannizing this realm melt under the point of his sword." Pointing to Bridgette he proclaims, "And few things can stand up to her eldritch blast. Plus she's a great rider of dragonelles. And her," finally getting to Necyra, "she has got a way with animals and spirits. Her ability to make friends with things you've never even heard of has gotten us out of more than one pickle."
He then starts to drift off, going into a long-winded tale of the party's adventures. Though filled with enthusiasm, he eventually notices the crowd growing impatient and gets back on point. "What I'm trying to say, is that we're here to help. We're not wanting to harm you. In fact we can see about aiding those children in the house."

Tattoo of Osybus. If the priest drops to 0 hit points, roll on the Boons of Undeath table for the boon the priest receives. The priest dies if it receives a boon it already has. If it receives a new boon, it revives at the start of its next turn with half its hit points restored, and its creature type is now Undead. To prevent this revival, the Tattoo of Osybus on the priest’s body must be destroyed. The tattoo is invulnerable while the priest has at least 1 hit point. The tattoo is otherwise an object with AC 15, and it is immune to poison and psychic damage. It has 15 hitpoints, but it regains all its hit points at the end of every combatant’s turn.
Soul Tattoo (Recharge 5–6). The priest touches one of the Soul Tattoos on its body. The tattoo vanishes as the trapped soul manifests as a shadowy creature that appears in an unoccupied space the priest can see within 30 feet of it. The creature has the size and silhouette of its original body, but it otherwise uses the stat block of a shadow.
The shadow obeys the priest’s mental commands (no action required) and takes its turn immediately after the priest. If the creature is within 5 feet of the priest, it can turn back into a tattoo as an action, reappearing on the priest’s flesh and regaining all its hit points.
Trystane, already transformed from his earlier display of intimidation, stood back in a crouched, predatory stance as Talorin’s fireball exploded, engulfing the priests in a roaring inferno.
