The doors open to a corridor that turns sharply to the left. It is about 20 feet wide and there is a lot of debris along the walls. The walls are covered with paintings. The south wall shows of a battle between natives and foreigners.
The north wall shows people searching for a new land - crossing dangerous mountains, sailing across stormy seas, and praying for the blessing of the gods to keep their home safe from invasions. In the center of the wall is a painting of a pyramid with a temple atop it and the sun shining over the land. There are runes engraved in the pyramid.
Down the hall there is an archway carved in the form of twining serpents. Beyond it, the corridor continues on into shadow.

Glink stands in the dimly lit chamber, the stolen amulet from Tupac’s tomb clutched in his hand. The golden medallion gleams in the flickering torchlight, and for several moments he holds it aloft dramatically.
As if on cue, the sound of an ethereal choir begins to rise, their voices swelling in a divine crescendo that seems to fill the entire room.
(Cast Prestidigitation)
“Behold!” Glink exclaims, his voice echoing through the chamber. He waits a few more beats, letting the moment hang in the air with theatrical tension as the choir reaches its peak.
Then, with a flourish, he jams the medallion into the impression in the sun painting, his hand shaking slightly from the excitement.

The gauntlet is magical.
The mouse head is something you have heard of before. It allows casters to use the spell Find Familiar without components.
Everything else looks mundane.
The door is unlocked and has no traps. It pushes out.

The hallway is damp and slippery. It leads about 35 feet before turning to the right.
Looking around the corner you see another set of bronze doors decorated with farming scenes 40 feet away.

Assuming he did not glean any information, he turns to his comrades. "Can any of you decipher these runes on the painting?"
It is in the same language as you had seen before.

Do I need to know the spell to be able to cast it using the mouse head?
Yes, you need to have it prepared. It is just a reusable component.
