That’s what Glink will try in the event we fail the game. For now I guess he’s just glaring menacingly at the orb creature, not that anyone can see it under his armor.
Opening the door reveals a short hall that turns sharply right and slants downward with a flight of long steps. You get the feeling it might go down to the level you can from before pushing the block up the rollers.
You powers of observation also show something of a pressure plate on the floor.

"Ah...success...you may pass..."
The creature waves its tentacles towards the door at the far end of the room.

Vodin agrees "Let's not go back to the same level we came from. Let's try the other reverse U"
You come to a corner with a large capstone in the floor and carvings on one wall.
On the wall there is a hemispherical depression with two men flanking it.
The capstone shows a scene of people either playing a game or battling over a ball, with goals.
There are hand holds on the capstone along with writing which reads "Do not open unless you want to face the challenge of pelota!"

Glink searches his memories to recall the rules of this game but having grown up in a protective bubble, his recreational activities were nil.
History Nat 1 (10 total with guidance)
Your learning along with the images makes you think the game is similar to soccer but with the ball being a bludger (Harry Potter reference).

Without a promise of a proper reward for winning, Glink is fine with just skipping it.
Vodin will continue down the hall skipping the challenge of Petola.
