Hello! I'm Shiverquill and I'm recruiting for a short campaign that is an adaptation of the Grammy's Country Apple Pie one shot, called Grammy's Pineapple Pizza! If you've played that one shot before, you can still participate as it's changed enough that you'll be able to still have fun!

backstory: Rolen was in a famous family of aristocrats known for their mastery and swordsmanship, his family would never accept magic resented it, seeing it as weak and against tradition. But due to an inherent family ‘curse’ that only a scant few in the lineage have ever gotten, he was disowned and abandoned. Angry and stubborn as ever he would wander the plane in search of something to break the curse.

Thought I'd provide a bit more background on the story since my original post is kind of vague:

On the island of Karakata, a plague haunts the jungles. Every night, children go to bed in fear that they'll be snatched away from their beds by demons of the night and be forced to suffer a fate worse than death; eat pineapple pizza. But this isn't any pineapple pizza, this is magical, cursed pineapple pizza, cooked in the depths of the Ananas Temple, that turns these innocent children into mindless imps, forced to snatch away children in the night just like what happened to them. The evil being that inhabits the temple, an urban legend amongst all school children and the mastermind of this twisted plot, is known simply as Grammy. 

Recently, esteemed Ranger Tyndareus the Green and his party journeyed into the jungle to defeat Grammy and end the curse, but the result was a disaster. Only Tyndareus lived to tell the tale, yet he was still mortally wounded and forced to retire from his adventuring career. However, that doesn't mean he's given up on justice; he reached out and recruited you, knowing his party's mistakes and adapting to make sure they never happen again. It is now your job to journey into the jungles of Karakata, raid the Ananas Temple, defeat Grammy, and hopefully bring peace to the island after generations of terror.

Cassian, Human Oath of Devotion Paladin.

Backstory: Born into an isolated countryside village of almost exclusively humans, Cassian's "devilish" left eye caused him to be looked upon as a cursed child and avoided by most before his true "curse" had even manifested: to have visions of a person's final moments before death, experiencing their pain as if it were his own. The visions were triggered by touch, whether of an item or even a person related to the deceased in some way. Cassian was tormented by the curse as he grew up, constantly experiencing visions of people who were already dead and beyond help. Witnessing the terror and suffering of those within his visions filled him with a desire to protect people from such fates. It was only his conviction in this desire and eventually his Paladin Oath that helped him keep the curse under control to an extent.

That's a great character, I really like the detailed backstory!
