Lira sees some strange-looking writing painted behind the frame of one of the couches. Surprisingly its in Elvish, although it seems to be some sort of older version of it.
ELVISH
"This bench carries the spirit of women everywhere, steadfast in the fight for justice and freedom."
Amdaeng points out what she can understand of the goblin scrawl to Iólinder.
'Oh, you can read Goblin writing?' Iólinder sounded pleasantly surprised. 'How and where did you pick that up?'
He pointed out the spell glyph, stating it would be dangerous. Luckily their resident magic man Vydar found a way to dispel it using a spell scroll, Iólinder noted what kind of spell was contained within because it sure could be handy in the future, and using one of their two demonic daggers as some sort of key. Iólinder was all ready to go through the door when Amdaeng darted forward to drag Vydar back. It gave Iólinder pause. He also took a step back and by focusing his gaze on the door, he could see the last sliver of mist, fog, or gas even lingering where the spell glyph was before it disappeared.
Once everyone was relatively certain it was safe to proceed, did the group enter through the doors into the next room. Compared to the hallway leading up to it, the new room was positively delightfull, even with the rather odd smell inside.
Then something happened. Some sort of mental ping came from Zazi and Iólinder's eyes flashed white for a moment. He looked through her eyes and what he saw was rather unsettling.
'Not to alarm everyone,' Iólinder said calm but loud. 'But I think Zazi just saw a ghost.' One of his hands instinctively reached for the holy symbols around his neck.
Hearing his allies inquire after Ning and her twitching ears, Zarbyn will use his Beast Speech invocation to ask Ning what's wrong?
(Upon hearing what Ning has to say Zarbyn will relay it to the group.)

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Lev walks up behind Lira, giving her a glance that says he has her back even though he doesn't say anything aloud. He puts a hand on the door, ready to push it open further after looking inside himself. Then he looks back at Zarbyn and Amdaeng as they mention Ning hearing something.
Zarbyn will try the door to the west, "Wait a minute, how many goblins do you think got this far?" he will snatch his hand back from the door and suggest, "Maybe someone better at it than me check this door for traps?"

Lira will head over to the door Zarbyn is looking at, wrinkling her nose at the odor as she checks the door for traps and then carefully opens it if there aren't any.
You detect no traps but the smell is one of stagnant water, mold, mildew.
You hear the drip of water (drip.....drip....drip...), and a sort of occasional bubbling sound.
A quick peak in by Lira, it appears to be a bath house. In addition, there is some day light in the next room. Lira thinks she sees motion, someone silently exits through a door in the middle of the south wall (Left side of picture).
"Someone just moved over there," Lira murmurs, pointing towards the door on the south wall. That and the bubbling sound in this room unnerves her. "I need to check something first. This bench is supposed to help the fight for 'justice and freedom', so maybe it can help us somehow." She starts to wonder about the message on the bench and heads back to investigate it further. She looks around the bench more closely for any mechanisms or places items could be hidden, finally trying sitting on it if she sees nothing.
(benefit of a long rest, bench has 2 more charges. If you are fully charged, you may touch one you trust and they gain the long rest benefit instead of you.)
Lira is confused for moment as she feels like she's just had a good night's sleep in an instant. She gets up from the bench, pointing it out to the others.
"This is definitely magical. We should remember it in case any of us gets really hurt in here."
Zarbyn nods in recognition of the bench and follows after Amdaeng and Lira.
"What can that bubbling sound mean?"

The abandoned Sultan's bathhouse, once a symbol of luxury, now stands as a decaying ruin. The air is thick with dampness, and the scent of mold mingles with the must of neglect. Cracked tiles in faded blues and gold hint at past beauty, while sunlight filters through broken skylights, casting ghostly beams on tarnished marble basins filled with stagnant water. Sagging columns are draped in cobwebs, and the once-exquisite ceiling is now in ruins.
The central pool, once clear, is now murky and overrun with debris. Faded mosaics line its edges, whispering of past revelry. The alcoves where the harem once lounged are now barren,, the cushions long gone. Water drips from cracked stone and melting ice from outside, echoing memories of a time when the bathhouse was alive with laughter, warmth, and secrets.
The stagnant pool has steam coming from it. It appears to be heated by some thermal source, and bubbles come up from various areas of the pool at regular intervals. There is a doorway on the left wall only. Surrounding the pool is a 10 foot deck.
Vydar frowns at the mention of a the ghost. Not that any of them should be surprised, they were told beforehand that this place was haunted. He tilts his head when Lira confirms that the bench is magical. "What did it do?" He asks, "Did it do something to you?" Reading the text, he's sure that whatever spell is on the thing only affects women.
Then he remembers the gauntlet's Lev gave him. Why in the blazes did Lev give him these? Pulling them out, he looks them over, trying to determine if the things hold any magical properties.
Arcana: 21
Whether or not they do, he walks over to Zarbyn after the warlock had followed the women to other room. Initially he'd thought Amdaeng would be the ideal person to use them, but he's pretty sure people who use her fighting style don't typically use armor. "Here," He says shoving them at the Warlock, "Lev gave these to me for some reason and I can't use them. If you don't want them...well maybe give them back to him." He peaks through the door as he waits for Zarbyn to take the gloves. He squints at the water. There must be some volcanic activity in the area in order for there to be natural heating. Unless some magic source warming up the water...

Zarbyn:
A youngling makes noises, and I smell flowers, sweetness,
blood, and death.
Amdaeng petted Ning, " There was a voice, a little girl humming.....it was creepy as hell....that's why I pulled you back."
" This place is a bad place."
Lev walks up behind Lira, giving her a glance that says he has her back even though he doesn't say anything aloud. He puts a hand on the door, ready to push it open further after looking inside himself. Then he looks back at Zarbyn and Amdaeng as they mention Ning hearing something.
Perception: 8
Lira tenses noticeably at the mention of a ghost and a ghostly voice, sighing as she remembers the story of the little girl.
"Maybe...she's the one we need to talk to?"
Lev sees Lira looking behind one of the couch/ benches.
Zazi seems to be hanging out with Lira.
Amdaeng and Ning seem a bit creeped out.
There is one doorway to the west
Zarbyn will try the door to the west, "Wait a minute, how many goblins do you think got this far?" he will snatch his hand back from the door and suggest, "Maybe someone better at it than me check this door for traps?"
As Zarbyn moves to the door, he notices it is very slightly cracked open. He catches a wet musty odor from the next room.
Lira will head over to the door Zarbyn is looking at, wrinkling her nose at the odor as she checks the door for traps and then carefully opens it if there aren't any.

LIRA/ Zarbyn
(Deleted a post, please disregard if you read it)
Lira found some writing on one of the benches in this sitting room.
In old Elvish, it says: "This bench carries the spirit of women everywhere, steadfast in the fight for justice and freedom."
"Someone just moved over there," Lira murmurs, pointing towards the door on the south wall. That and the bubbling sound in this room unnerves her. "I need to check something first. Lira feels refreshed when she sits on the bench
Amdaeng looked at the bench for a few moments but in truth she felt pretty good currently....
She crept into the bathhouse looking for the source of the bubbling sound.
Zarbyn nods in recognition of the bench and follows after Amdaeng and Lira.
"What can that bubbling sound mean?"
Amdaeng takes a look in the room.
