The group is brought to the main yurt. Inside is the high priestess, Aisulu and the elder, Inauniq.
The ancient Toa-Suo man, still seated on the strange animated chair rises. "Ah! It's The Warriors of the Sh’torem." He smiles. "I must admit, after losing so many who have tried to enter that cursed mountain, I am surprised to see you."
Aisulu smiles. "Tell us, what did you discover in the mountain and what of the spirit trapped within?"
Just then, Temujin, Sukhbaatar and even the tattooed Atticus enter, standing quietly in the back after nodding greetings to the group.
All three show signs of the recent battle, blood, torn clothing, dirt and grime on their faces but none appear worse for wear.
Iólinder's mind reeled at the thought of half-giants and wisely decided not to think any further about the logistics of it. He followed the others into camp, heard what had happened and decided to deal with the result of their own mission first.
'We found the ghost girl within the palace.' He replies to the Toa-Suo elder. 'After some... trouble,' Iólinder was not too keen to expound on the horrors they had seen inside the mountain, 'We managed to put her spirit to rest. We have also retrieved the necklaces you requested.'
Zarbyn steps up beside Iolinder, "We were also able to retrieve the artifact hidden there. Now that we have two of them we expect the evil factions also seeking them may begin to hunt us. I fear the longer we stay here the greater the chance they will seek us out and that would put your village in danger."
Glancing around at his companions Zarbyn tries to gauge how fit they are to continue without verbally asking, "Plus, they will be searching for the last two. We have an advantage there as Professor Storm's most recent maps show us where caches 4 and 5 are located. As soon as we are able we should rejoin her quest."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
”That poor spirit has been trapped there for ages. You have completed a tremendous task by freeing her.”
The warrior Sukhbaatar steps forward.
”By retrieving the necklaces of our fallen warriors, you do us a great honor and we may release their souls so they may be reborn.”
Inauniq rises again “you have completed your warriors task. You are now part of our tribe and have earned a Toa-Suo name. You may train with our mentors and gain a permenant tattoo or battle skill.”
Just then, a Toa-Suo scout enters and whispers to Inauniq.
”well, it appears they have already found you, Zarbyn. Those goblins we encountered earlier. That was a scouting group. My man tells me there is a squad of over 100 stong coming from the road you just returned on.
”Prepare for battle!” He shouts.
The elders grasp you by the hand, and shoulder congratulating you. Then they exit to gather arms and prepare the camp.
(You can stay together or separate and go with one of the Toa-Suo. you can also take a short rest if needed.)
You recall when you encounter the wolves that there was a group of goblin tracks had split. Some went up the ridge toward cache 1/2 and another group had continued on the road toward Silverton (another cache was up the road. Likely finding nothing, they probably cut across toward cache 3. See cache location on far right of map in thick blue line. then find buckskin mountain. The goblins who attacked earlier came from that direction.
Amdaeng was immediately on her feet, placing Ning in the creche for the moment.
As she moved off with the Toa-Suo she looked around for Sukhbaatar figuring their skills would complement each other......totally the only reason....totally.
"They're here for the artifacts! If we stay close together they may be drawn to us and not focus on the Toa-Suo!"
Zarbyn will draw one of his daggers and follow Amdaeng from a little ways back so as to not draw attention to her.
Twiggy will turn invisible and once outside the yurt fly up 40 feet and try to assess the goblins strategy, which direction they're coming from, how they're organized, whether they're one large random mob or have smaller formations etc. etc.

Because the group has worked well together, the two strongest fighters, Sukhbaatar and Temujin recommend the Warriors of the Sh'torem stay together and work with one of the Toa-Suo. After their mission is completed, they can return for additional missions.
You are given several choices prior to the battle.
1) Scouting mission with Tseren to determine what exactly we are dealing with and help develop a plan for defense.
2) Aisulu can cast a magical disguise on the party that will allow them to look like Goblins and speak goblin. Infiltrate the army, bring back intelligence
3) Baatar is headed to secure a grave site and protect a holy tree: A section of camp needs to be secured and defended if invaders go there. It is a grave site for the Toa-Suo.
Amdaeng doesn't like her chances of passing as a goblin but she can be sneaky when she wants to..........though defending the sacred tree also appeals.
Lev stayed rather quiet for the exchange, doing his best to put his personal concerns out of mind while they met with the elders. He'd barely realized that he hadn't needed to use the tattoo during their venture into the mountains--a shame, it would have been better to test it before thinking about a permanent one.
He grips his glaive when the scout declares they are under attack, looking to his comrades as they all prepare in their own ways.
"I do not like my chances of infiltrating a goblin camp,"he shakes his head. Sure, he's been around goblins... far more than he'd like to admit, and he has done infiltration missions in the past--but he also is aware of the limitations of a disguise. No, he'd be far better off just sticking with the stealth mission. He looks to Lira, who seems to have come to the same conclusion.
"Once we know what we are dealing with, we could decide to launch a surprise attack if the opportunity arises. If they send more scouts, we can deal with the smaller numbers," he speaks in a bit of an undertone, not really intending many to hear him as he's mostly speaking to himself. Still, ideas flow through his mind for how they could deal with the threat before it reaches the village--most of which remain unsaid since he can't really pitch an idea without knowing what they are really up against.
Lira nods in agreement with Lev, her expression serious. “I think scouting is our best option. If we go in blind, we risk making the wrong move. Besides, infiltration would be risky—even with magic, acting like a goblin is an entirely different challenge than looking like one.” She crosses her arms, considering the options. “And while protecting the graves is important, if we don’t know what we’re up against, we might be wasting our strength in the wrong place.”
She exhales, rolling her shoulders as she glances at Lev. “Sounds like we’re of the same mind. I say we scout.” Then, to Tseren, she adds, “Lead the way—we’ll move quiet and keep our eyes sharp.”
Iólinder heard what the Toa-Suo scout said about a hundred goblins marching on the camp. He knew goblins in general are more a nuisance than a threat but quantity was a quality on its own: a hundred goblins could wrought severe mayhem and destruction. He pondered the different courses of action put forth. He was not the stealthy kind, far from it, and he did not know if he could pass for a goblin. Or convincedly pass for one.
But heading up the defense of the camp was something Iólinder was up for, if only out of a kindred obligation to protect holy sites. 'I will go with Baatar and see to the defence of the camp. Stealth and subterfuge are not really my strong suit.' He told the others.
Baatar looks at Iólinder. "Right, we must leave now to get there before the goblins. Its a 10 minute walk from here. (Who else wants to project the holy tree.)
Tseren nods at Lira and Lev. "Any others care to take a look? We are climbing high to get a better view." (who else wants to go scouting with Tseren)
Zarbyn decides to also get a view from up high, "I would like to scout, Tseren."

Cast of NPCS you have met or heard names in camp:
Inauniq Village elder
Aisulu: high priestess
Nimka (Female warrior that found you)
Baatar (Male Warrior that found you)
Na’ah’tali Sh’torem: The tribal name for Professor Natalie Storm
Tseren: Brought you to the mountain palace. Lean Scout, more elf than troll but still large, great stealth, has a hawk on shoulder
Temujin: Grizzled warrior, running combat training, weapons
Sukhbaatar: A strong charismatic woman troll/elf running hand to hand and grappling training
Lira heads to prepare for the fight as well, seeking out Tseren since he likely knows the best places to attack from stealth.
