Iólinder and then Morric spot the goblin hunters. They seem different from the goblin you met earlier. Sleek, quiet, a bit taller than those in the cache. They wear yellow hoods, marking them as part of a special unit. They are armed with bow and leather armor. Eight are spotted, as they move on the edges of the road, using the cover of tree and rock as they advance.
Surprise Round for PC's: Distance to closest is 90feet.
Baatar: Pulls out a longbow and takes aim at Goblin Hunter 1: His first arrow misses the small creature but his second shot hits, an arrow goes through the goblins chest and he falls to the ground.
The squirmy goblin looks at Aisulu weighing her words. "We accept your terms as long as you agree that your guests and their belongings remain here until your decision is made."
Aisulu smiles. "My new friend, you are mistaken in your term. Those whom you refer to our not visitors, nor are they guests." She looks at Lira, Lev, and Zarbyn. "They are members of the Toa-Suo people, having earned their place among us by completing a rite of passage. They are my brothers and sisters." She smiles. "You will tell your leader that the situation is complicated, and we will consult our gods. You can be our guests in the plains you now occupy for one evening. You may go."
With that, she rises, clearly excusing herself and the others.
Once the goblins are brought to his attention, Vydar easily spots them in the fading light. He plans to cast dancing lights once the sun fully sets, but at the moment he’d rather just hit something.
Imagine that there are more Toa-Suo shooting and attacking other invaders at the same time as your group with Baatar is encountering these foes. Battles are going on around you.
Suddenly an arrow comes flying from the rocks near the first group. The arrow misses but the goblin remains hidden (sniper Ability)
Another arrow comes from behind the second group hitting Baatar for 8 damage. That goblin is now visible on the map.He tries to hide again but is currently visible.(goblin s1)
The goblins, seeing one of their own hit by arrow fire, are now aware of the danger ahead. There are two groups of goblins, 90 feet away each. One group had 4 archers, the other 3.
Round 1: Amdaeng action. (then take a second action for rd 2)
Round 2: Everyone add 1d4 to attack and saves beginning round 2.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Round 2.
Amdaeng moved up on top of the rock revealing herself as a target, hoping to draw fire from the others advancing......she would move up herself next round...
Lev nods to his companions, face betraying no emotions whatsoever aside from that coldness in his eyes. Fortunately that demeanor shows neither contentment or contempt during this conversation, though his eyes are fixed on the goblin. He won't try to act, god's know how that would go.
He crosses his arms, staring daggers at the goblin as they excuse themselves. He'll stand there for a moment, waiting for the goblin to leave before joining the others.
Zarbyn waits until the goblin is dismissed and leaves before joining Lev and Lira.
"Should we consider leaving the Toa-Suo village as we have what the Cult of the Dragon King is after, it might save further loss of life?"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Lira frowns thoughtfully, considering. "They brought a whole army here. Maybe they'd come after us first, but what's stopping them from wiping out the Toa-Suo anyway? The Cult has shown no one mercy from what I've seen."
Baatar: 18: Baatar remains in the groove in the center island. He draws his long bow and takes a shot at goblin 2: 22 to hit, 10 damage. The goblin falls dead. Quickly, he loads and shoots a second arrow at goblin 3: 22 to hit, 7 damage. Goblin 3 is badly damaged by still stands. A goblin sniper is seen above group 1-4. goblin 1 and 2 are dead. A second group (5-8 is on the west side. a second sniper is hidden). As they are all archers, you are uncertain if they will just stand their group, seek cover, or advance toward your position. You can declare cover to gain AC bonus.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"That's true, the Cult would probably try to deal with them anyway. The Toa-Suo's best chance is if we stand with them."
While thinking about their situation and possible outcomes Zarbyn suddenly has a thought, "Why are we keeping the artifacts intact when we find them? Shouldn't we be destroying them, or at least trying to, given how dangerous they can be in the wrong hands?"
(Zarbyn will also have Twiggy (while invisible) try to follow the goblin a little ways just to make sure they are leaving and not doubling back to cause sabotage.)

Twiggy can easily follow the goblin as he leaves the valley without him noticing her. She sees him returning to his leader. He does not seem to do anything out of the ordinary, likely he has gathered the information he needed already. As she flies high, she sees the signs of campfires in the more open tundra outside of the valley where the army is setting up.
Amdaeng saw an arrow come from that area but have not spotted the (shaded one s2). Likely he is completely obscured behind the rocks.
Distance on owlbear to the group (5, 6, 7, 8 is 70 feet for hand to hand. Distance to center of next rock outcropping (grey) 30 feet, and if you like, could provide you some cover depending on where you are on the rock or next to the rocks.
After the goblin leaves, the priestess Aisulu looks at the group. "The only thing stopping them from attacking is their fear of the items being destroyed. Their army is not here for us. They are assembled to fight another foe. Also, I meant what I said earlier, you are my brothers and sister now." She hands each of you (Lev, Lira, Zarbyn) a necklace that was made by her. You are now part of our tribe. You may pick your tribal name.
She looks you over.
"Did Na’ah’tali Sh’torem mention anything about destroying the items, or was she planning on taking them somewhere?"
Morric will dash to the area near amdaeng taking cover next to the cliff/ slope. His large frame, unexpectedly nimble covering the terrain. He knows he could possibly hit one with a javelin, but knows it would be difficult and maybe a waste from this far. He hopes the green vermin get impatient and rush forward to get a better angle for their short bows.

damage: 10
Amdaeng needed to wait for the goblins to get closer....but she readied herself.
Reaction- Deflect Missiles- 8
