Iólinder moved further up a little and took shelter behind a pillar of the stone structure. He was in a bit of a bind: he could pull out his crossbow and take aim at the goblins but that required him to put down his shield. With the goblin force advancing that was not a sound option. He cursed not being more versed in long ranged cantrips. As soon as I get some time, I'm looking into those. He thought.
He did however cast a different cantrip he knew: Thaumaturgy to make it seem like ominous whispers came from the tree in an attempt to get the goblins to retreat. Or at the very least give them pause.
(Iólinder roll a Deception check, that will give me a DC for the bad guys)
A group of TToa-Suo warriors engage with goblins in an arrow fight to the right of Iólinder. It appears the superior warriors will take down those on the right side.
---------> Vydar
All of the goblins move and shoot, or shoot and move:
Goblin3 takes a shot a Vydar and misses.
Goblin 4 shoots Iólinder (+5ac for cover): 22 to hit: the arrow hits the stone archway and shatters
Goblins 5 and 6 shoot at the missile dodging Amdaeng, the first shot misses, goblin 6: 17 to hit, 9 damage. (Please correct me if I am wrong: Amdaeng with missile deflection is able to catch the arrow doing 9 damage, and if you spend a Ki, and make a ranged attack as part of a reaction)
Goblin 7 and 8 shoot a Morric: 23 to hit: 9 damage, Goblin 8 misses with a 14)
The goblin (s1) pops out and shots at Baatar: 22 to hit: 5 damage, then tries to hide but remains visible.
The hidden goblin (s2) pops out much closer to Morric and Amdaeng, takes a shot at Morric and misses, then backs up behind the large boulder and is out of LOS for some.

Lira takes the necklace, running her fingers over the craftsmanship before slipping it over her head, nodding in quiet appreciation. "Storm's notes said the artifacts can be used in a ritual to summon a black dragon," she explains, her voice steady but laced with concern. "Destroying all five can stop it, but she never mentioned how to actually do that. Either she didn’t know, or she never got the chance to write it down."
Vydar misses again. The little green goblins are just too far and to quick the firebolt. The dancing light create an earie effect, creating lights of various colors as the darkness takes over the sky.
Shouts and the sounds of arrows break the silence in the sky on your left and right and the goblin group moves closer.
Aisulu looks at Lira, "Who created these artifacts? Could touching them or destroying them have consequences? I wonder if they could be used for good? All of my questions, should be addressed with someone with more knowledge. I wonder if the great wizard in Port Blacksand would know more of these things."
Lira frowns, absently brushing her fingers over the amulet Shareella gave her. "I touched one once. Had a vision—something horrible. Whatever magic binds these artifacts together isn’t just powerful, it’s dangerous. Storm’s notes say the spell threads inside them are volatile. If we destroy them the wrong way, it could end in disaster." She exhales, crossing her arms. "We did find a key to a Cult hideout in Port Blacksand back in Cache 2, so we already have a reason to go there. If this wizard knows anything, he might help us figure out how to deal with these things for good. Shouldn't we help you repel the goblins first?" Her green eyes darken as she glances back toward the valley.
"Yes, we have spells and some skill with weapons." Zarbyn adds to what Lira said. "And I think if we manage to decimate their numbers somewhat they may break and retreat."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
the goblin eater is practically frothing at the blade, glowing brightly in anticipation of fresh goblin meat, Morric with move to surprise the cleverly hidden goblin hoping to cut him down
"I see no way such things could be used for good," Lev says quietly. "But then again, magic is not a strength of mine. Perhaps someone with the proper skills could find a way... but for now I suggest we deal with the goblins." He nods to Lira. "Solutions for the future will do us no good if we don't live to conduct them."
He's not sure how much time they actually will have, since the goblin didn't seem particularly happy to give them extra time. "I would like to go and see about that avalanche. We need to act now while we have the chance."
Aisulu nods to Lev, “Za’chak can take you up the ridge to Tseren to see what can be done." She looks at Lev, Lira and Zarbyn. "Once there, you will need to make a decision with Tseren. Create the avalanche before the army enters or when the army enters.”
With Vydars sharp eyes, he is able to spot the hidden Archer (S1). He can point him out to Baatar and Iolinder if he so chooses. The other hidden goblin (s2) is a bit out of his line of sight with the boulder and tree lines, but he thinks he is near Morric.
Lev nods, feeling uncomfortably comfortable as this quickly thrusts him back into his days as a soldier, only now he doesn't have what he once had to fight for. He looks to Za'chak, ready to depart.
"We can leave now", the warrior Za'chak replies. She gives each of them some rations and a warm cloak. "It may be colder up at the top. The valley protects us from the winds."

Vydar casts dancing lights near the entrance between himself, Iolinder and the enemies.

The goblin archers move forward, using skirmisher tactics. (REMEMBER: some of you have additional temp HP due to the sweat lodge)
Baatar takes a few well aimed shots, killing archer 3 and wounding 4 (5 damage)
Archer 3 takes careful aim at Iolinder:23 to hit, finding its mark, 8 piercing damage.
Archers 5 and 6 try to shoot at Baatar but the cover provided by the groove of trees and the range protects him.
Two arrows come at Amdaeng from 7 and 8. One of them hits, with a 17, 9 damage.
The stealthy (s1) pops out and shoots at Vydar but misses. He then disappears behind cover (Hides: Need to role perception to see him)
The more stealthy s2 Near the rock where Morris and Amdaeng are located pops out, shots at Amdaeng, misses, then disappears (Perception to see him).
To the east, the warriors begin to pick of the remaining archers in that area as the tide of the battle seems to be turning in your favor.
