Vydar huffs, once again he’d done practically nothing. He waves off the offer of healing as he took no damage himself. Instead he keeps an eye out for more danger. That skirmish seemed to easy, that can’t be all these bastards have planed.
He maintains the dancing lights, figuring it would make it harder for enemies to sneak up on them. Then he glances at Morric. He doesn’t particularly want to strike up conversation with the guy, but he’s still unsure of why someone would have come all the way out here alone.
Lev stops at the sound of the worgs approaching, apparently he'd been right in assuming the goblins wouldn't give them the time they'd requested.
His first instinct is to stay at a distance, use his longbow instead of the glaive... but for some reason that doesn't sit well with him so he rushes forward instead--glaive in hand, and attacks the worg closest to them. He has no intention of letting any of these foes escape, especially not now that they are aware of their presence. If the army grew suspicious of their plan... it could make things much more difficult for everyone involved.
To Hit: 25 (nat 20!) Damage: 18 (doubled cause crit)=36
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zarbyn sees the goblin mounted on a worg approach and Lev rush to meet it. Thinking it best to deal with this one before it is joined by the others Zarbyn begins to move forward to join Lev in fighting and as he does so he casts Shadow Blade and takes a swing at the worg.
Attack: 24 Damage: 17 psychic damage.

— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Morric will retrieve his torch and head over to Vydar to take advantage of the magical illumination. He pulls the goblin arrows out if his chainmail and his skin. The wounds no longer hurting any. “ that was some good thumping, that Amdaeng is amazing at punching goblins! These greenie meanies are sure going to regret torturing children”
Morric will pull a cloth out to wipe the goblin eater clean. Its eye constantly searching for more of the green buggers.
A sort of deep laughing sound is heard throughout the area, but it seems to come from everywhere at once. The skies seem to darken as dark clouds cover the area, blotting out the light of the moon. Zazi begins squeaking and shaking frantically. At the same time, Morrics sword begins to vibrate, the eye of the sword animating and looking around.
The ground beneath some of the deceased goblins emits a shaking, rumbling sound as the earth opens at each spot. Emerging from the ground are large creatures with rat-like features, sharp teeth, elongated claws, and red eyes. A combination of ogre, goblin and rat, these monstrosities stand 8 feet tall and are covered in mud, dirt, and blood. Attached to their clawed muscular arms are wicked-looking blades. From across the groove, sounds of warning and yelling can be heard as other Toa-Suo warriors re-engage in battle with these demonic horrors. And, the sounds of screaming and the sickening sounds of cracking bones and screams of pain echo through the area.
Baatar yells: "Protect the Groove!"
Looking behind you, you see Baatar covered in several swarms of rats, all biting and clawing at him. Likely they swam in the river, unseen due to the distraction of the goblin archers. This is clearly a coordinated attack.
Initiatives (still same combat effectively, so Spiritual weapon is still up, as is bless!)
(Note Critical damage in 5e: If you roll a nat 20, you roll all damage dice a second time, so if you rolled a crit, had a short sword, 1d6, then roll a second d6, then add any modifiers for strength, etc after).
Back at the worg attack, Lira skillfully slices at the worg from 10 feet away with a wicked-looking whip, then jumps over the snow drift disappearing. However, she sees another foe approaching from that side.
Zarbyn moves forward, a blade forming in his hands. He strikes at the creature but its hide stops the blade from penetrating (miss).
Lev runs forward with his Glaive, easily hitting the large wolf-like creature. His blade enters at the shoulder and connects with its heart (if it has one). The creature falls to the ground dead.
The goblin rider jumps off, landing on his feet. He seems much less intimidating off of his mount. He attacks Lev with his scimitar. (19 to hit, 4 slashing damage).
Goblin 1 draws his short bow and shoots at Zarbyn, barely missing him.
The worgs and their riders advance. Worg 1, javelin still in his body and slowed moves toward Za'chak as Za'chak moves to engage it. They meet with a crash, warg bitting at warrior, warrior slashing at beast. Za'chak is bitten viciously (10 damage) as the creature tries to knock him over, but the large dextrous warrior remains standing as he swings with a huge club: However, the blow glances of the creature. A second worg (3) advances on Lev: 10 to hit: Lev is able to fend it off.
Lira sees a third worg move across from east to west, but the mounted team does not see her.
Lira, seeing Worg 4 approaching, takes the chance to strike at it from the shadows. Unfortunately the cold wind in her eyes causes the attack to miss. She hurries north to hide again.
Upon seeing these freaks emerge Morric will say, “ thats a whole lot of disgusting in one package! At least it is part goblin, thats the weak link.” He will post his torch in the ground, near him this time to give himself the best light possible. The under light on his face makes his big toothed grin a more sinister look and he begin humming a little tune a he stretches with his sword a bit, limbering up for the challenge ahead. He settles into a comfortable stance, balancing the big blade on his pauldrons so he can use them to leverage a powerful strike when pull down on the handle. He is determined and ready to strike soon as one of these filthy bass turds moves into range.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing Lev slay one of the worgs and thusly unseat a goblin Zarbyn will try and strike it down before it can cause any trouble.
Attack: 14 Damage: 15 psychic damage.

What Iólinder thought was a brief respite was merely the calm before the storm. While he could write a in-depth essay on the folly of sending out archers as the vanguard rather, and he was sure the military clergy would appreciate it, he had to survive first the assault of what seemed to be some ogre-rat-goblin abomination against everything good and holy.
Luckily Iólinder's spirit blade hovered near where one of said creatures had emerged from the ground. With a flick of his wrist Iólinder drove the blade down into the creature. Even before the blade struck, he knew that would not be enough. The half-elf cleric followed up his spirit blade attack with a blast of holy energy to bring the might of Telak down on the creature.
Spiritual weapon: Attack roll 12 ; Damage roll 10 force damage Guiding Bolt: Attack roll 23 ; Damage roll 13 radiant damage
Advantage on the next attack against big ugly creature 3
Amdaeng crosses the stream and attacks the swarm (there are 2). She is quite effective at hitting the little ravenous rodents and significantly damages swarm 1.
The little guys don't take kindly to her attacks and as they continue to chew, bit and scratch, she finds a group of them on her as well. However, she is able to evade the lot. The second group of rodents attacks Baatar again: His hide/ leather armor and quick movements avoids most of the damage this time.
Back on the mainland of the groove, Iólinder's blade is easily blocked by the hulking demonic rat thing, but the magical bolt of holy energy hits it full in the chest.
----->Vydar
Morric will hold action until the huge beasts move closer (init 5)
The huge demonic like monstrosities advance quickly, (RO1) moves toward Morric and the two attack at the same time. Morric has to adjust his tactic as he realizes the creature is quite big, but is able to use his weapon to put a huge gash in the creatures torso. Attack: 26 ( 30 if bless is still good) to hit, 13 dmg.
The thing strikes Morric with its bladed claw: to hit: 16 for 6 damage. It then tries to bit him with its jagged teeth but the blow from the sword disrupts its attack.
RO3 moves bast Vydar and Iolinder into the center of the area. RO2 moves forward. They seem to be headed toward the groove. To the right of the battlefield, the sounds of combat resume as more creatures battle with the warriors.
----->PCs can again declare actions, Amdaeng, Baatar, Iolinder, Vydar and Morric.
Worg 1 attacks Za'chak again, but the nimble warrior is able to block the attack.
Worg 2: Dead
Worg 3 attacks Lev: biting Lev and penetrating armor: 11 piercing damage
Worg 4 jumps the snow bank and attacks Zarbyn, its closest target: 22 to hit: 11 piercing damage with its sharp teeth.
Za'chak lets out a huge bellow, his eyes seem to fill with anger, and he attacks with reckless abandon (Rage) this gives him +2 damage bonus and resistance to some damage types: Unfortunately, he misses the elusive canine.
----->ALL PCS; Zarbyn, Lev, Lira, again, remember you have temp hp if you did the sweat lodge)
As the remaining goblins fall, all is quiet once again. Maybe, its too quiet.
