Eirikur feels a sense of satisfaction when the bone worm ceases to stir in the darkness. His eyes linger there, on the depths of the burrow. He glances down at his sword, slick with the blood of the creature. Eirikur resists the urge to wipe the sword on his own sleeve upon noticing the off-color and foul odor of the blood, and instead swipes at the air to run the blood off from the blade.
His reverie is broken by the realization that he is alone out by the hole in the earth. Yes, of course, the train. He turns and was about to call after Modoc to recommend checking on the freight, but his direction indicate that he needs no instruction. His attention turns toward the passenger car and, hopefully, a watching priest. Eirikur glares into the windows from the distance, sword pointed to the side and toward the earth.
He then begins to stomp his way back to the train, vengeance on the mind while caution shouts, best it can, with a very small voice.
Rushing towards the priest, Hylizatha makes sure to fully reload her revolver once more. Cocking the hammer back she will point it right at him. "Give me one good reason that I shouldn't shoot you dead for calling that thing! So you got insulted, that don't mean you put everyone on this train in danger!" She keeps the gun aimed directly at him, waiting to see what he will say.
"The Reckoners demand respect even if you do not believe. A person's life is meaningless in front of the glory of the Reckoners. I have showed all of you a taste of what is they can do through me. It should be all of you to bow your heads in supplication. Kill me sinner and in time your will see what the Reckoners have planned for you." He stands tall all 5ft 7 inches of him and speaks in a preaching tone with wild eyes. With the holy book in hand e looks not at you but beyond you ready to accept whatever comes next.
The train belches black smoke and with a few sudden lurches it begins moving again. The shrill of the ghost rock wavers through the train as if the punctuate what Father Anselam says.
"Before I put a bullet through his head does anyone have a reason why I shouldn't? If so then you should start talking now." Hyliztha says loud enough for anyone close to hear. Her eyes will travel around the train car bit her revolver will stay pointed at the priest.
Some of the lingering passengers are just gawking to see what happens next. Some are eyeing his religious items to see if they are any value to loot later.
Father Anselam grabs his holy symbol around his neck and looks up as if for a final prayer.
"Fortunately for you, we haven't been paid to kill you, father." Eirikur cuts the tension with his gruff words, entering the passenger car after having cooled some on the walk to the train. He tosses up a rather heavy-looking set of manacles through the air, which batters the floor hard, skidding to just before the father's feet. "That doesn't mean you get to be comfortable, however."
He looks around to everyone in the passenger car. "You all heard him admit that he summoned that creature here simply because he was given the cold shoulder. That creature would have killed us all, had we not stopped it. If we survive the rest of this trip, the law will handle him."
He looks to the manacles on the ground, then up at Anselam. "What are you waiting for? The cuffs. Your god won't stop my friend's bullet, but those cuffs might."
"If you want to put him in chains then fine. But if he so much as blinks in a strange way then I will empty the entire cylinder between his eyes." Hyliztha says through gritted teeth, keeping her revolver trained on the priest the entire time.
Father Anselam does not resist the cuffs and holds his head high. The people nearby seeing there won't be more bloodshed settle back down while some throws insults at Father Anselam.
Potentially having saved Anselam's unworthy life, Eirikur is left with a sour taste in his mouth as he roughly handles his captive, shoving him hard against the wall, then stripping the father down to his undergarments and the manacles he now wears. If the cuffs prevent excess clothing from being removed, the clothes are shorn from the priest's body with Eirikur's blade.
"Not a word of protest, father. I am not above gagging you."
As he works, he tosses Hyliztha clothing and items to inspect, wary of greedy eyes among the crowd. "You and Gaelan check out this stuff and see if you can find anything of note. Then find the doctor. I am going to check on Modoc."
He then tugs Anselam by the manacles. Not enough to cause injury, but it certainly wouldn't feel good as the metal bites into the wrists. "Come."
Eirikur hauls Anselam to the back, so he can check on Modoc, leaving the other two to secure Dr. Bailey. When he enters the rear car, he guides Anselam to a stool to sit, then turns to Modoc.
"This is the one who summoned the worm. Against my better judgment, I saved him from Hyliztha's bullet, but if he tries to make trouble for you, cleave him in two. Because he can use magic, we'll want two here and two to guard the doctor; it is not uncommon for casters to have at least one spell that requires only a working mouth, but most often, they can only influence one person at a time." Eirikur was careful to specifically avoid talking about why Modoc was in the freight car to begin with, hoping Anselam takes it as happenstance. He eyes the doctor. "I'm not sure what we should do if we need to support Bailey, but I do believe it would be a bad idea to just leave him to flee."
Gaelan takes a seat near the good doctor and lets out a sigh, "That was more excitement than a man needs on any day." he takes a deep breath and hopes nothing exciting happens for the next hour.
OOC: Can we take a short rest? Gaelan is pretty busted up.

"Okay. I was going to ask if you needed some privacy. Good thing the doctor got the train working. You don't think there's more of those creatures closer by." Modoc looks at Anselan warily.
Hyliztha will sigh and holster her revolver as the priest is led away by the others, making her way to stand guard over the doctor for the time being. In order to avoid any further issues of Dr. Bailey insulting anyone she will do her best to stop anyone from talking to him.
OOC: I love the short rest idea. I only have one feature that would get a recharge, but it's better than nothing! I am all for it if possible.
IC: Eirikur settles down with Modoc, eyes fixed on Anselam as he spends some time catching his breath. "This might be the strangest job we have taken, Modoc."
"Yeah, especially you showing up with a half naked priest. But hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out. We got to make sure the train company pays for the additional protection we have provided."

Gaelan thinks nonono
No more of the miscreants unholy mumbo jumbo. "Take him out."
He threatened a train full of innocent...mostly innocent and good folk. He needs to die.

Gaelen finds the religious necklace and the good book Father Anselam carries with him. As for money you find 10 dollars which is 10 gp.
His clothes are removed, and he stands still unresisting. Now in his nickers where do you take Father Anselam?
