So interestingly I've been enjoying runnning two side-by-side adventures for the same campaign. They've not intermingled much yet, but there is time for crossover between adventures.
The idea came about for maybe doing a social environment set in the world where adventurers can meet up and have little stories and chatter, effectively a hub where PCs from different campaigns can take their shoes off and talk about their adventures together (in a mostly non-canon way so that other DMs don't have issues with it).

Update to the interest thread: Another thought that came to me is the following:
Would people be interested in playing the normally-NPC parts (the tavern staff, etc.) in the crossover tavern?
It would mean that I would be networking with other people in order to give them some control over the tavern place, and they can help keep things civil (since it'd be open, then people would be able to fill in if I'm busy elsewhere).

I was contemplating people who weren't already in the Seven Saints campaign, but I guess a cook could be good. I'm contemplating having the staff basically be co-DMs effectively, giving them better control over the goings on in tavern :-)
Anyone else want to give this a go? Keeping this open for a bit to see whether people are still interested in a drop in/out whenever tavern area.
UPDATE: So with some positive polling above, I think I'll get this on the road. I'll probably start up a thread on Monday or Tuesday, with my (currently) 2 members of PC staff.
If you would like to play a member of staff for this, please let me know down here. This is effectively open recruitment for those who want to play an player-managed NPC who will be running parts of the tavern.
Well if you're interested, we're just doing some RP on this thread. You could either join in as one of your own characters and just chat alongside others or you could enlist as a new member of staff. The choice is yours!
I have a College of Whispers Bard or a gnome inventor/ tinkerer that would work as an information gatherer or mechanic respectively if you are still looking for staff members. I also have a cleric of law from sigil and an air genasi storm sorcerer but i'm not really sure what role they would fill.

The general rules are that you leave your wars outside the doors. You can be an adventurer, good or evil, should you be interested. The main question is what your pirate's job within the tavern would be...

We're still recruiting for members of staff for the public post should people be interested. Just an idea of sort of positions that could be filled:
There are others, but just random ideas for if people would like to attend :-)

can I be a pirate Dragonborn??
Like one of the side villains who could possibly help them out.

Entertainers are always welcome. As for the item peddlar, perhaps you can join as a player if you wish.
