Seraph allowed the radiant blade to dissipate when the combat ended. Kneeling he also checks the bodies of the dead for anything of value or use. He'll look around the room the battle took place for anything else that might be of interest.
Perception 15, Investigation 17 (game log)
When that is finished he looks to the others. "We must proceed forward and find our quarry."
Vidar is bushwalking in the wilds of Tasmania so I’ll make the call for him and Gyaan. That means a majority for the secret door. Can I have details on party order, approach etc. noting that given his HP levels Gyaan will offer to bring up the rear.

And in that case, if its pretty obvious how messed up he is, Lucas will cast (4th level)Pep Talk on him, restoring 27 HP and saying, "Steady, Old Timer, Steady. Least 'till we've caught our runner."But otherwise, he'll go 2nd to last.)

While Seraph and Lucas are examining the room and before Lucas casts his spell on him, this who are watching (if anybody) can see Gyaan pull out a wand and start tracing some of the sigils along its lengt whilst muttering some in a deep harsh language that nobody can understand. As he completes tracing the sigils the head of the wand suddenly flashes a deep blue.

Passoveloce sighs and accepts that the party wants to go through the secret door, and takes up his usual position 2nd from the front. Being very wary, as this guy has had a fair headstart and is likely to have alerted the rest of the complex. "Hopefully we don't walk into a hostile ambush - but I am not confident of that." he says to anyone who is listening, before setting his chin, grasping his sword firmly and making ready to move quietly and quickly as required.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vidar opens the secret door and leads Passoveloce into a short 10 foot long corridor - the rest of the party has to remain in the mage’s sleeping quarters. At the end of the corridor they can see a door. As Vidar steps into the corridor (Vidar - 25 & Passoveloce - 18) {25 & 18 rolled respectively} he notices a couple of what appear to drops of fresh blood on the floor!
Seraph gave a curt nod to Vidar, acknowledging his companion's readiness as Vidar stepped forward to take the lead. "I will guard the rear," Seraph declared, his voice steady and resolute. He positioned himself protectively behind the group as his companions slipped through the secret door, their footsteps echoing faintly down the narrow hallway that stretched ahead into the shadows. He watched the unexplored door on the opposite side of the room for danger.
"Ain't that the truth!"Muttered Lucas in response to Anardil's words. He then did his best to peek down the secret passageway, and the moment he saw how tight a fit it was he immediately threw up his hands and shook his head. "Okay! Newp! I'll just be 'round the bend here, and you guys let me know if the next room or whatever is clear opens enough, aight?" He says just quietly enough to be heard by the party and hopefully noone else, before making his way to the stairway leading into the chamber the party originally left from. It's there he posted up against the wall and with arms crossed waited to hear the good news.

Passoveloce looks at the blood carefully, then inspects the walls, floor and ceiling of the corridor to see if there are any other signs of the wizard or any traps. He whispers to Vidar: "Check the full length and width of the corridor - an invisible wizard could still be here." When Vidar indicates that the corridor is clear, Passoveloce approaches the door at the other end of the corridor and checks for traps then listens at the door.
Vidar nods, agreeing silently to Passoveloce and steps forward investigating the room, trusting his experience and instincts to pick up on anything wrong.
Investigation: 6
Once he is done investigating the entirety of the room he will report back his findings to the group
Vidar directs Passoveloce to operate the mechanism that slides the door open. As Passoveloce operates the door mechanism, Vidar finds himself facing the back of some sort of tapestry obviously designed to conceal the door from the other side. He uses the tip of his Glaive to push the tapestry to one side and steps into the room. A quick glance around the room reveals that it is 20’ by 20’ and furnished as a study with a bed and desk. A cadaverous figure is standing behind the desk which Vidar is not sure is alive or not until it speaks “… well you took your time! Normally I’d interrogate you to find out what you know and what you don’t but that will take time I do not have and nothing can stand in the way of my plans. Besides it is just as easy to ask your bodies!” As he waves his hands a sickly green miasma flows over Vidar and up the corridor engulfing the entire party!
Everbody pls make a DC15 {Con} save throw to take half 38 HP of Necrotic damage.
OOC - while Passoveloce and Vidar both have higher initiative rolls than Jerot he had the spell readied. He will however not now able to use his bonus action until his initiative turn.
Vidar and Passoveloce you’re up followed by Jerot and then Seraph
