Umbriel is relieved to see the halfling girl getting some rest, though he doesn't know how effective it will be due to the nightmares. It seems they won't be able to get more information from her. His dread grows as he thinks about the ritual still going on.
"I think we have to go back. Whatever the fishmen were doing needs to be stopped. At least no innocents will be in danger if we attack now."
Reyhana frowns as she watches the halfling girl tremble in restless sleep. At least she’s out of harm’s way for now, but that luxury isn’t something the rest of them can afford. She shifts her weight, rolling a sore shoulder as she looks between her companions. “We’re in no shape for a big fight,” she remarks, her voice low and pragmatic. “But if we wait, whatever they were summoning might already be loose by the time we get back. That’s not a gamble I want to take.” She exhales sharply, tightening her grip on her weapons. “Let's go now. The sooner we stop that ritual, the better.”
As the party discusses their plan the lass wakes up and weeps openly, in halfling "Mama, mama, Nooo!" It takes a long minute for her to calm down. "Cé thusa?"
“mama, mama, Nooo! Who who are you?”

Umbriel stiffens slightly at the sound of the child’s sobs, his natural instinct urging him to step back and let someone else handle this. He isn’t good at comforting people—especially not a frightened child—but as the girl’s wails echo in the space around them, he exhales quietly, forcing himself to try.
"Easy now…You're safe." He tries in Common, hoping she will understand his intention if not the language.
Amidst the loud natural occurrence of wind against the cliff face and tunnels and caves there’s little worry about that. The child almost immediately calms and gets up to stand near Faelin.

"Uh, alright. Can you try to ask if she's seen a fairy? And where at in the cave if possible...I guess show her an image of the room we saw and see if she'll point to a direction."
Reyhana steps away from the group as Faelin conjures his illusion, giving them space while keeping her focus on their surroundings. She moves with practiced ease, scanning the horizon and listening for anything out of place. The howling wind makes it difficult to pick up finer sounds, but she trusts her instincts—if something was approaching, she’d feel it before she heard it.
Her hand rests lightly on her blade as she circles the perimeter, eyes narrowing as she checks for tracks or movement along the ridgeline. The last thing they need is to be ambushed while trying to piece together what’s happening below. If something—or someone—is out there, she’ll be ready.
As Faelin conveys his message to the halfling girl, her face becomes sad, she points out to the water and makes gills on her neck and the a swimming motion with her hands.
"'The fish people took her...out to sea'?"The Tiefling is surprised, as he thought the fairy would be part of the sacrifice in the cave. "We'll have to figure out a way to follow them. But for now we should stop the ones below. I have a bad feeling about that statue. Faelin, can you tell her to hide out here and wait for us?"
Reyhana returns just in time to hear Umbriel’s assessment, her keen eyes flicking toward the halfling girl before settling on the others. She nods, tightening the straps of her gear as she readies herself. "Then we move quickly," she agrees, retrieving her weapons and securing them for a swift return to the cave. "We know the terrain now, and, after our hasty retreat, they should not expect us to return so quickly. Or at least, let’s hope they haven’t had time to fortify their position." She takes a breath, steeling herself for the fight ahead. This time, they wouldn’t just be sneaking in—they were going in to finish this.
Reyhana moves down the tunnel, her longbow gripped firmly in one hand while her other hovers near the rock wall for balance. The damp, uneven ground makes every step treacherous, and just as she places her weight forward, a loose patch of stone shifts beneath her boot. She stumbles slightly, instinctively reaching out to steady herself, but the motion kicks a small rock down the tunnel, sending a sharp clack echoing through the passage. She exhales through her nose, grimacing at the noise. 'So much for stealth.' Tightening her grip on her bow, she presses forward, hoping the sounds of howling wind and distant waves will mask her misstep.
