Herren steadies himself against the rocks to his right and aims at the area that he last saw the dragon and performs the action READY. If that Dragon pokes his ugly face out of that area he is hiding in, I want to put 2 arrows into him as soon as I see him.
It felt a lot better than the last battle. Definitely helps when we have a round or so to prepare before battle.
As a suggestion you can include a lair action of some sort since this is a dragons den. Not damaging per se but something like an earthquake effect that can knock people prone on a failed save.
Weird, I posted, or thought I did, Tatts attack, but it never went through. Guess it wasn't needed.
As a player, Tatts was all melee based, so having the dragon flying and out of range of his sword was a tough pill to swallow at times :) but hey, the dragon isn't dumb.

For non-damaging lair actions, will need to think on that too. Will look over the Adult Blue's lair actions more. Possibly strip away the damage and reduce the effect time and or impact. Would be the group's first dragon fight so adding some stuff to make it more memorable is a good idea. ]]
Believe one more run through of these two battles. (If any tweaks to the dragon fight need to be considered, would likely do that as a standalone as opposed to a four+ run of the Warlock+Bodyguard.)

Turns out the dragon never got away. As it turned to flee Tatts' might blow felled the foul beast, leaving it to sprawl on the floor dead.
