Danon sees Etriel rise up out of the snow and take her shot at the Verbeeg, and he nods, gripping his short bow. He is closer than the others, 80 feet away, crouching at the base of a tree. He stands to take his shot, but does not see the dead tree limbs under the snow and when he stands, a loud crack occurs, giving away his direction. He takes the shot, then moves back 40 feet to join the others, crouching low and moving quickly through the snow. His hand goes to his pouch at his side, he thinks to himself “Not yet… wait until he is closer…”
Stealth : (Nat 1 😩) : 7
Short bow attack : 19 to hit, for 10 points of piercing damage
Sacred Flame is a dex save. Which I rolled 11 (which I don't even need to check your DC to know it will fail). So everyone so far has dealt damage. Waiting on Idalie.

Sorry, I cast meant to say Fire Bolt but typed it in wrong, my fault.
"Behold the mighty power of a true hero!" Idalie exclaims bombastically as she blasts away at the beast. "Soon this land will be free of your tyranny!"
That literally just hits (matches AC). By now, the Verbeeg has realised it is under attack, so has their shield ready to defend, but can't quite bring it up in time to deal with the blast.
The Verbeeg gives a loud whistle, as he sprints back inside and out of sight (dashes back into the tunnel).
The party are up again. You are all (I believe) around 120ft away from the cave entrance, and the Verbeeg is out of sight within the cave.
"We hit him so hard," Etriel Darastrix notes matter-of-factly "that the brute has replaced his impetuosity with caution. Instead of charging us, he has gone back to get help".
"But help will probably make him bold again" the foreign traveler imagines. "So, let's hide again, my trusty co-hunters. Our first volley wounded him. When he comes back out with the creature that keeps him company in there, our second volley will take him down. Maybe then his accomplice will give up. If not," she shrugs "said accomplice will try in vain to reach us, hindered by the distance and the trap we have set. And he will die not unlike the bad company he has chosen".
Figuring that she has much less time than before, this time the eladrin huntress does not assist everyone and simply relies on her own experience and skill to try to camouflage herself again before the monster returns.
Danon says, “Agree, wonder what he’s getting. Let’s get ready for him!” He move to a different location, off to the west but closing distance again to 80 feet, then hides, waiting to surprise the Verbeeg again when he reappears.
Cirim will direct Sparks to sneak back down the corridor with the water and back to where he saw the interior. Cirim will look through his eyes to see what they maybe up to in there.
Idalie grumbles something under her breath when she realizes that the rest of her party isn't gung-ho about dashing into a monster's cave, but she'll resign herself to trying to hide as well.
Stealth (disadvantage from her armor): 3

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
(The map update is not playing ball, so I am leaving it for now. Updating without it).
Sparks sees the Verbeeg grabbing a couple more large spears. And he is joined by a large bear and an ogre. The ogre looks like it made the tracks you followed here.
They look like they are waiting for you to come in, the Verbeeg stopping them from charging out the cave towards you.
Once the party is notified of what Sparks sees, Etriel Darastrix sighs: "I thought the monster would be more impulsive and confident in its own strength... Evidently, our 'welcome' has given it a good dose of wisdom and caution".
"But we can still surprise both he and his allies again, my Lords and Ladies" the eladrin huntress reasons. "If we go through the path with the stream, we can come into the room from a direction they don't expect. And since they are all large creatures, if after striking we retreat in a tunnel, instead of staying in the room, only one at opponent a time will be able to fight us".
"Sounds like a good idea to me." Neldak will cautiously approach the stream cave. Giving a wide berth to the main cave entrance. He'll keep up minor illusion outside the main entrance turning the sound of running footsteps into an incoherent murmur (like people are standing outside of the main entrance and discussing a plan).

Solid.
Idalie will go ahead and use her bonus action to cast hex on the monster, then unleash a beam of pure energy at its face.
EB vs. Verbeeg:
Attack: 14; Damage: 7 (force) + 4 (necrotic)
