Taxidea looks to the sky with an exasperated sigh. "Follow the road. Don't follow the road. Would you please just make up your minds?! I'm going with Xondario - c'mon Remis, let's go." He says and follows Xondario.

Armeros follows the others along the path, glad to at least be making some kind of progress again. He remains quiet for once, their recent brush with fiery death reminding him of his mortality.
As Flynt listens to the back and forth his impatience grows. Reaching his limit he is about to stalk off on his own when some of the others seem to finally come to the same conclusion he had proposed earlier. He mimics Taxidea's sigh of exasperation and follows with a roll of his eyes and a shake of his head.
He mutters under his breath,
"Larisa, I swear I'll find you and get justice for your parents."
"Speaking of the caravan, we should just wait or go back. We only needed a guide because we were going to leave the road. Now that we're staying on it we should group up for safety." surmises Flynt.

"Well since the road goes where asked there really isn't an "opposite direction" but none of it matters, since none of what has been discussed has gotten us any closer to retrieving the scepter. But by all means let's continue to waste time. It's only innocent children waiting to be rescued. I'm sure they've plenty of time before a fate of slavery, depravity or worse finds them. I'm sure their captors are the patient sort." Flynt sighs and quickens his pace finding these constant debates about nothing draining.

Our Lady of the Void just said that the other lady had stolen her staff and would use it to bring chaos to the world. Now there's kids? Let's just get to whatever town we may or may not be heading towards, you guys can ask your questions, our scoutmaster can figure out where we are, and then we can finish this task. And if we happen to find some poor, helpless, captive waifs along the way, we'll save them too. Sound good?"

A recent band of outlaws has caused havoc. The main gang had been dealt with but the leader had escaped. His brother and wife had been one of their victims. Swearing to bring the fugitive to justice, Flynt now travels about searching.
Any long or short term goals you have for your character.
We were all plucked from our lives to find this scepter. Flynt has reason to get back to his. I'm just keeping true to his history.
Frankly I've been kind of surprised that Lumi hasn't picked up on it seeing as it ran parallel to their's. Since our DM had professed their organic style of play in their original offering. I figured I'd bake in a subplot should the main prove to be subpar. It provides motivation outside the storyline.

But fear not, for our hearts beat strong, and with our allies at our sides, shall carve a path back to those await us back home. It may take time, but we shall overcome those who try to stop us!"

At the sound of Jason's words Flynts seemingly ever clenched jaw relaxes a bit as he drawls out a reply,
"True words friend. So since it seems like we all gonna be traveling together s'pose manners directs that I owe y'all an explanation for my truculent nature. So ya' see a couple cycles back, some dirty sonsa rotted meatsacks pieces o' trash tricked their way onto my brothers farm. As you realize by now I'm sure. Things didn't turn out so well for my brother."
Flynts jaw begins to seize up and his face loses its softness forcing his voice to take on a much darker tone
"Swine killed his wife and took off with my niece. I had a lead that took me to that tavern where we All met. Now it seems even that lead was fabricated. So excuse my rush to get back. Seems I may be starting over on a cold trail."
"Another mark against our good goddess, it appears." Xondario notes as they continue walking. "I myself was passing through to where I heard there were farms potentially for sale for the right price."
