Flynt observes the others for a bit before venturing forward himself. As he crosses the bare ground between the forest edge and the tower base he looks for signs of battle, tracks that might indicate the number and type of guards, anything that might indicate what type of defenses they might face.
"That's why I like to have tall friends." Taxidea says. "Good for both taking cover behind and reaching things up high. I mean a long stick can accomplish half of that, but Armeros is more fun to have around."

Armeros sighs in disappointment, staring up at the spot the priest had come out of futilely. "I'm afraid we'll need to fly or climb to get there. Even then, the door may only open from the inside...He said something too, right? Voice activation perhaps."
Arcana on material the tower is made of (is it magical, its properties, etc): 24
The material itself can't be determined, but it is clearly magical. It seems to be fire proof/resistant, and it seems as if it is made up of tiny 'things' that weld them selves together.
"You can?! Oh, me! Me!" Armeros can't hide his childlike excitement at the idea of really flying again, waving his arms. It feels like it's been an eternity.
Armeros cackles in glee as he floats off the ground and does a few excited circles around Xini and Badger, thoroughly enjoying the freedom of movement and weightlessness.
"Ah, much better. Thank you. I'll head up and take a look." He starts to rise towards where the priest first appeared, keeping an eye out for any movement of the things making up the tower.
Before Xini begins casting, Jasmine would say, "Wait." She turns to Armeros and asks, "That Levitation spell you did back then. Is there any upper limit to how high you can float vertically up with that? If there isn't, then perhaps one of us can fly and the other floats up to the door. Two people are better than one for something like this."

How high up is the door exactly? Asking because if Jasmine and Armeros takes the party's ropes with them up, then maybe assuming they get the door open, can tie the ropes together and lay it down to ground level and have the rest of the party use the rope to climb up?
(Reminder that the tower is completely smooth going up, so Armeros won't be able to pull himself up with it.
