Hm... Cassian has a signal whistle. Maybe we could use it to get Stone Feather's attention? "When blown as a Utilize action, a Signal Whistle produces a sound that can be heard up to 600 feet away." Would it alert the frogmen to us too?
I've no idea how many rations Chromir has. I will check but as a former guide, Chromir would make sure he has enough food so would also buy more. A weeks worth (additional to current) to be precise. (is that 7 or 10?)
In case you missed it before the holiday break, I posted a round summary. (So the action is on you guys)
However, I know that some folks are probably still traveling and/or enjoying time with their families.
So no rush … post when you can (even if it won’t be for a few days) and we will resume the tale after each player has had a chance to make a post for the upcoming round.
Would jumping off the hillock use less movement than climbing? If so, does it risk fall damage?
I had a moment to refresh my memory regarding climbing. Unless a character has a climb speed, climbing counts as difficult terrain.
So ... in a reversal from my previous answer, yes, jumping down the 10' would require less movement than climbing.
The only caveat I can find that applies from the section on jumping is dependent on whether a character lands in an area of difficult terrain. If that is the case, a Dexterity (Acrobatics) test against DC10 would be required (or land prone).
In any event, no fall damage would be incurred jumping down from a 10' height.
It's about to get weird ... and violent.
Happy Hunting!

Yes it would. You won't have to work too hard to get noticed. Currently, the group is not hidden.
It will only be a matter of moments before all three groups become aware of each of the remaining groups.
Chromir's favourite!
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
To be fair she would have bought a week and a halfs rations but we seemed to wisk off into the travel really quick.

There's nothing fair or unfair going on.
In the OOC, I asked what folks would like to buy.
If Navrine would like to purchase 10 rations then she may.

How far from Stone Feather are we? If we are within 120ft, Chromir will use Message

I moved the potion of growth from Cassian's sheet to Chromir's.
That info is listed under Chromir's inventory (currently 7), another week's worth would be an additional 7 ... bringing the total to 14.
@Swiftgale, 7 rations added, 3gp removed.
Depending on who the measurement starts with, distance between the groups 45'-55' ... let's call it 50' and make the math easy.
retcon, she would have bought ten days rations.

Done. +10 rations, -5gp
It was more I hadn't looked and being on mobile it's always more fiddly

I forgot to mention it in the IC thread ...
Doc and the lizardfolk both have Init count of 3.
For the purposes of this encounter, Doc will act first, followed by the lizardfolk/lizardfolk allies.

I would say that any able bodied adventurer could jump down from that height.
No risk of fall damage as long as the jump is part of your move. If you fell, or got pushed/pulled or something … then fall damage would apply.
In any event, it will be 10’ of movement (jumping or climbing, in other words)[EDIT — see post #281]I had a moment to refresh my memory regarding climbing. Unless a character has a climb speed, climbing counts as difficult terrain.

Happy New Year, gang. I hope your holidays were enjoyable.
In order to maintain momentum in the tale and get it going after the holidays, I'm going to bump the round this evening.
Anyone who did not get a chance to post actions for the current round will receive two actions in the next round.
