In the IC round summary, I went with Cassian's originally declared action, the unsuccessful attempt to Influence the lizardman.
In this situation, the dice had already been thrown and the results known ... so the declared actions were 'locked in' as it were.
I feel like letting people post their actions in any order despite initiative is a bit misleading then. The final version of Navrine's turn, which would happen first, would have changed what Cassian did entirely.
It may be semantics, but I see a large difference between 'a bit confusing' and a 'a bit misleading.'
There was no attempt to mislead you, but I understand how posting outside of init order could be confusing.
Although you are not required to — if, during an encounter, you find knowing your comrades' actions ahead of you to be helpful — you may always wait to post until after they have posted.
Feel free to discuss strategy at any time in the OOC as well.
After reading 2024 Flanking dosent seem to be a thing no no advantage so i took the first of the two rolls Nat 1, miss and 14 for 19 trying to get the horrid beast off Cassian :) I feel like removing flanking is probably not a good think for stratigic combat (So I guess in my friday night game thats going to be home ruled) This is a good play by post test drive of the 2024 I can see there will be a lot of things I will fix in my games but for the most part seems pretty solid so far. (Was hopeing to get avantage on that horrid untrained monster :)
So The DM's advice seems really good we should definitly stratagize Play by Post is a bit challanging (at least for me who is used to real time groups)

You know PbP is really pretty fun though I would really like to know how to set up my own PbP is it complicated? Are there any guides anyone could recommend?

I am not sure about guides. I haven't found it that complicated to set up, but different people have their preferred methods so it is all about finding what works best for you. I am sure someone has written a guide on the forum (or on a forum somewhere on the internet at least)
But seriously, who has that fire breath potion? -.-;; We mentioned dividing them up at the celebration but never actually did except the growth one Cass took, which is now with Chromir.
Navrine can get in range to use it the fastest (it says the range of the breath is 30 ft) and it takes a bonus action. Cassian can't do much besides attempt to tank with shield of faith. Edit: Oh, he has 3 oil flasks he can throw at the Shambling Mound, which would increase the fire damage it takes by 5.
So should Nav assist Stonefeather or Doc, I really feel like Cass and Nav should run to Docs assistance, but if Stonfeather dies we can't complete our quest? Such a dilemma Plus until Nav gets a short rest or starts initiative again she is out of Ki (oops Focus) points. I would have to dash to get to Shabls but could probably get to the frog price and attack.

Hmm...Frog Prince is low health, so maybe Navrine runs to Doc to help finish it off and get the potion? Meanwhile Cass can try to get over to the Shambling Mound and use Protection to help Stone Feather stay alive hopefully.
Ok sounds like a plan I think Nav can get there, attack, and bonus action attack, but Flurry of Blows is OUT with only 2 focus points it's rough. I will head toward Doc. Thanks :)
After drinking a potion/antitoxin/etc, can we add an empty vial to our inventory? Waste not, want not lol.
I don’t see why not. But I won’t be a stickler for detail if folks don’t care to get into that level of granularity.

If I understand your summaries correctly, I believe the bog man is left on 1hp and so have treated him like that in my post.
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

Would jumping or climbing onto Stone Feather's back be possible?
I don't see why not. He is large enough to be a mount (albeit a mount that is not controlled by the character riding him).

Flanking was always an optional rule anyway.

The other potions are being carried by Doc.

Astride Stone Feather or standing next to him? Either is possible.
