Wil: There don't seem to be any markings or symbols you recognize, but as you look around you notice a strange cast of creatures on the deck of the ship. There's the half-orc who fished you out earlier, an Aarakocra who's laying down a soaking wet Copper Dragonborn, a pixie at the helm barking orders, a Green Dragonborn on the crow's nest with an odd pair of goggles on her eyes, and the tiefling from earlier.

Wil: The tiefling smiles softly and gestures to the ship. "This is the Arc, and we are its crew. We're magic sailors, traveling the seas together in search of adventure and all that." She says with a small chuckle. She then looked up at the stormy skies and sighs. "We're currently heading toward Exponenita, an island that supposedly holds countless magical power. Then this storm hit, and Brakkina noticed the crash. Our captain told us to help as much as we could, and from there, well, here we are." The tiefling smiled again. "What about you? What's your name, friend?"

Bonitas eyes opened and she looked around....on a ship, right........not her ship........were any of her friends alive? Where was Harn? She'd felt a kinship with the blustery Bronze Dragonborn due to their shared heritage.....was Tidebreaker alright? So much more forceful than the farming locathah of her home village she was more than a little intimidated by him.
She looked about desperately spotting a tiefling and half orc and a bird-person....she nerver could remember the name...and a Green Dragonborn...and a soaked Halfling.....from the other ship?
" Uh! Hello! Um......has anyone seen any of my crewmates?"
Bonita: The Aarakocra grinned, seeing Bonita awaken. "Hey! Nice to see you awake, sleeping beauty!" She chuckled a bit as she walked over. "As for your crewmates, well... I saw a locathah carrying an elf back out there, he should be arriving soon I think. There's also the halfling there, and the Bronze Dragonborn over there, though the latter hasn't woken up." She added, pointing out Wil and Harn on the deck of the boat.

Wil responds with a smile, "My name's Wil, Wilry Foghare. Do we know if there are any other surviver's from the shipwreck? I should be going back to save some of the others."
(OOC: I assume there were other people on our ship apart form us.)
Wil: The tiefling nodded. "Of course. Rokkr is performing one last sweep of the area before our captain gets us out of here. Who was with you on your vessel? Perhaps I could ask Rokkr to keep an eye out."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wil describes the rest of the crew that he knew. He didn't have any particular attachment to any of them, he just feels a moral duty to at least ask after them. Being somewhat suspicious, Wil watches the Tiefling and wonders if they are on the level with everything they'd said about their mission and their intentions in saving the shipwrecked people. "Thank you, what were your names?"
Harn, having been carried by the Aarakocra onto the large vessel, coughs a bit of water up that he had swallowed while staying afloat. He looks out into the water seeing the ship he was on sinking deep beneath the waves. He sees some of his crew have made it, but some of them seem to be missing. He remembered his captain and some of the deckhands had gone below deck to fetch some ropes and buckets to secure the ship, they must have been trapped inside as the boat went down. He spends a moment in silent to pay his respects before turning back around. "Thank you so much. My stuff is a bit waterlogged, but I think I have some coins I can give to repay you for rescuing me. Or I can offer my services to you until the debt is repaid. I can navigate at sea, or if more useful, I can provide wind to the sails if the seas are too calm."

Bonita had been on her way over to slap Harn awake but seeing him already rousing Restrained herself, she waited until he had prayed and said his piece before tackling him in a hug that was basically a squirrel on an oak tree trunk.
" Thankyou for not dying! I think......I think a lot of the others died...I was knocked out otherwise I could have.......I could have saved some.....", she looked away from Harn shamefacedly.
" Tidebreakers alive....he's still in the water....but that's kinda where him and me are from so he's fine....."
She hugged herself tightly as she looked out at the turbulent waves, " I should have done more......"
Tidebreaker pushes Fynn on the wooden plank over to the ship. He helps the elf climb aboard and then does so himself. Another toothless grin comes over his features when he sees his remaining shipmates alive and as well as can be expected. (Rage ended)
"Ah, many thanks for big ship and big ship folks! Sea would have taken all otherwise."
Harn is shocked by the hug, but will reciprocate it. "There is nothing you could have done. I was afloat at first, looking for survivors but the waves were too big and the boat when down too quickly. Anyone inside would have had very little chance to get out, and it would have been too dangerous to try. Even if you can stay under water indefinitely, the debris would have likely trapped you. Or worse. I am glad this ship is large enough to withstand the storm better."
Wil: You cant detect any ill will from the tiefling as she introduces herself. "Oh! My apologies. My name is Shelter, I'm a cleric of Paladine. It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Foghare." She was about to say more when the green dragonborn from before landed with a thud on the deck. She walked over to Shelter and spoke to the tiefling, her accent thick due to years of speaking draconic. "Storm is beginning to clear up. Should be safe to continue sailing now." Shelter nodded gratefully to the dragonborn. "Thank you, Brakkina. Can you let the captain know? I'm sure he'd want to know that more than I." Brakkina nodded and walked off towards the helm of the ship.
Harn: The Aarakocra smiled softly to herself as you and Bonita embraced, a look of longing in her eyes. Eventually she pulled herself together and walked over to Harn. "No need t'repay us. We're just looking out for our fellow sailors," she said. Then she thought for a second and followed up with "...Although...."
Tidebreaker: "There's no need to thank us, my friend." A particularly scaly half-orc replied. "We were merely following orders from our captain. Nothing more, nothing less. I am glad to see that your friends are safe, however."

Harn: The Aarakocra then shook her head. "Well, the crew you see on the deck right now aren't all we are. There's more of us below deck doing sailor things, but one of us is missing. One day during watch, my friend Alastor was yanked off the crow's nest by a harpy towards an island called Exponenita. We've been sailing there since, but the captain's heard things about the island that makes him kinda wary about going. Basically what I'm saying is we need more manpower, since some of us have to stay behind and watch the ship. ...You get my drift?"

Tidebreaker feels grateful that his friends are safe, but the mention of a missing crew member and a dangerous island stirs something deep inside him. His black eyes widen slightly, and glimmering faintly with excitement.
“Harpy, hm? Mystery island?”Tidebreaker’s voice rumbles with excitement. “Challenge worthy of sea’s fury.”
The locathah steps forward, the wood of the deck creaking slightly beneath his weight. “You help friends. So, you will have Tidebreaker's strength to get back lost big ship friend."
Tidebreaker: The Aarakocra laughs a bit. "Thanks... that means a lot to me." She starts to say something else, but another voice cuts in. "Who said they get to stick around? We don't know these guys, Eirith." The pixie at the helm flies over to Eirith the Aarakocra and you before crossing his arms. "How do I know I can trust you, huh? How do I know you won't stab me in the back?" He points a finger at you accusingly. Eirith rolls her eyes, muttering something that sounds like "Not this again."

Bonita: The pixie falters for a second. You can tell he was expecting to be met with anger or violence, not friendliness and a smile. Suddenly a female's voice rings out as a half-elf clad in monk's robes and a very hairy human wearing a suit of armor and a large belt walk out from the bottom deck. The elf grins as she walks over to the pixie. "Enough with the act, Vask." She said, propping her elbow on the pixie's head. She then looks at you and your two sidekicks and returns the friendly grin. "Sorry about the captain, he just gets nervous around new people. You can stay as long as you don't do anything dumb, alright?" She offers her hand, but then remembers she's not the captain, and pushes the pixie forward, who at this point resembles a ripe tomato with how embarrassed he is. The pixie clears his throat, and offers his hand to Bonita looking away, still embarrassed. "...Damnit Cae... whatever. As the captain of the Ark, I, Vasker, hereby grant you shelter-" Shelter turns her head. "Did you call for me?" "No." "Oh, alright!" Shelter turns back to Brakkina. Vasker groans, pinching his temples as he does. "Screw this!" He grunts to himself "Welcome aboard." He says, his hand still out.
