"Of course!" Fired up, Sirin slaps another gp onto the table.
Game 2: 5
"Oh...Haha! Congratulations, friend." She smiles good-naturedly, sliding the gold over to him as she resists her jealous urges. "How about we try dice next? Beginners luck for me this time!"

Dice game 1: 19
Torgar pockets the 3gp from Sirin (1 from game 1 and 2 from game 2)
Smiling he takes out his dice.
Dice game 1: 17. Good game! Looks like we are better at playing the other’s game than our own! He is thoroughly enjoying himself.
OOC - we can say we bet 3gp on this game so we are evened up (no money exchange).
Torgar raises his hand to get the barmaids attention, two more ales over here if you please!
Upon see the results Sirin grins, reassured that her luck hasn't entirely left her.
"Indeed! Let's hope beginner's luck favors us in the tournament as well. For now, double or nothing!" She adds another 4 gp to the table, too busy having fun to worry about money.
Ic: "Well, I can’t say I’m thrilled she left me,” she said, shaking her head with mock disappointment. “But hey, what’s a few gold pieces between comrades, eh?” Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she looked at him, clearly having enjoyed the game despite the outcome.
"Speaking of which, our benefactor must have deep pockets. Good eyes and ears too to notice all of us."
I’ll take 4 of whatever’s hot and 2 ales for our friends over there. I’ve got a little extra spending money now. He winks at Sirin and says… I think it’s time to get the whole team together. Torgar stands up and looking at the other two, waves them over to the table.
Keshin walks over, finishing the last of his drink. "Well, you two certainly got along quickly. Careful not to use up all your luck now, else you'll end up dead."

I'm taking a break to focus on IRL stuff. Please don't think bad of me. I'm terribly sorry for any inconveniences this hiatus of mine brings about.
Sirin grins and nods her thanks at Torgar, chuckling at Keshin's remark. "Don't mince words, do you? Yes, I have heard that deaths in such tournaments are far from rare...It will be a change from the blunt foils used in fencing, that's for sure. But that is where the excitement lies too, isn't it? Really testing oneself."
Yes, I have seen many a confident fall due to hubris, but confidence in oneself is required as well. Best to stay grounded; to recognize and accept one’s strengths and weaknesses alike. Remember each of our actions affect not only ourselves but the team as a whole. However, tonight we can enjoy ourselves and be merry, for we have a brief respite before the real work begins.
Keshin sighed, running his hands through his hair before sitting down and ordering another drink. "Just be careful. I've lost many comrades to their own hubris before, and I'm not looking to repeat the experience."

"Caution, yes! Of course, we should play to our strengths." Sirin nods, crossing her arms. Proud as she is, she knows her raw strength is far lesser than most knightly types, not to mention the only 'magic' she has is her skill. "It's a relief to have such wise teammates. Believe me, I will do all I can to survive and ensure you do as well."
Im'mame, has come to the group late, the travel to get here was very draining and his sense of caution over-rode everything. Now that he's arrived as per the letter he looks for a place to settle. He notices the group has already started to form and are playing dice or something similar. While not a player himself he does enjoy observing the behaviour such games inject on people and in turn tell him a lot about themselves. Slowly he gets himself settled, placing his limited and somewhat degraded armour and weapons items away and starts to clean them up a bit. "Let's see what happens?" he says to no one in particular.
Sirin’s eyes flicked to the newest arrival as he entered the tavern—a figure with an unmistakable presence, even in his travel-worn state. His armor, though degraded, spoke of battles fought with honor, and the way he carefully cleaned his weapons hinted at a meticulous nature. She watched him for a moment, a small grin forming on her lips.
"Ah, the noble lion appears!" she calls out playfully as she leans back in her chair, eyeing him with a mix of curiosity and respect.
Im'mame, is somewhat caught of guard at Sirin's introduction of him. He stands respectfully and turns towards the gathered group in the room. He bows slightly towards them keeping his eyes level and NOT in supplication but INSTEAD with a sense of mutual equality while using his non weapon hand extended Im'mame brings hsi hand towards his heart palm faced in as a sign of fraternal respect. Those who notice see a twinkle in his celestial eyes that hide a man who enjoys good humour. Imparts a greeting and blessing upon them:
"Greetings and peace from Bahamut be upon each of you and on this residence".
Once said, Im'mame returns to his evening discipline.

"Hm...4, a step up from our last game."
Upon see the results Sirin grins, reassured that her luck hasn't entirely left her.

Game 2: 19
Ah Lady Luck turned her back on you for that last game. Let’s hope she returns before we participate in the tournament!
OOC - I lost track, just tell me how many gp you deduct and I’ll add them to mine
Ooc: That would be 8 gp.
The barmaid, a friendly blonde human brings a couple more drinks.
"Looks like y'all our sure enjoying yourselves. Can I get you anything else to eat?"
OOC - added 8gp

Keshin lips pressed into a thin line. "I suppose, but be wary of the risks, will you? Overconfidence and the like is never helpful to anyone."

OOC - just realized we have 5 characters not 4. Update my food/drink order to be 5 😂. Although I don’t think Im’mame has made it here yet?
Nope. Weekends seem to be the hardest time to post for most people though.

"Bahamut? Ah, you're a religious one. Great." Keshin sighed and took another sip of his drink.
