The three of you are traveling in a nice wagon, with overly fancy clothes (in your opinion) as a disguise. The clothes are actually really light, but the are very hot due to wearing your usual outfit underneath. You are on your way to infiltrate the house of Sir. Gilgamech who is hosting a private gala at his manor. Your mission is pretty much to snoop around, and expose him as a fraud in front of all the visitors. The Helm has worked with another faction, The Kings Lance, and you are actually temporary member for the night. The Lance is a little more than just another faction. three generations ago, they were founded, and are pretty much the secret police of the kingdom. You all have a badge that can be used to identify yourselves as with the Lance, but only in case of an emergency. Gilgamech has been found, by the Helm, to be taking most of the tax money for himself. He is nearly the richest man in the city, so convincing authorities that this was happening has been all but impossible. They have all been bribed by him to turn a blind eye. You have no information on who will be represented, but you know there will be members of numerous other factions there, both friends and enemies. Some might be on the same mission as you, some may just be there because they can, but all are enemies until the mission is through. That's how it is with the Helm. Your best friend could become you worst enemy for a week, just because they aren't working with you. First one to post is carrying the talk stone, linked with one carried by Grammy (codename) who is your partner for the mission. Grammy is already at the manor undercover.
In your first post, please provide a link to your character, your characters real name, and codename. I'm going to give some time for RP between characters.
Slowly returning to reality from the deep sleep he was in, Leokoris nods to Darbakh.
"Yeah I thought about getting some rest before entering that rich man manor. Always good to be good shape before starting that kind of hard work... You know what's the best part of those missions except the rewards and making sure those people won't cause any more harm ? The food. That's possibly the only thing I'm thankful for before stabbing them."
Seeing as the wagon gets closer to their destination, Leokoris returns to more serious matters : "Anyway, have you heard anything from Grammy ?"
Waking up, Aeron turns to Leokoris and Darbakh. “Sorry, didn’t get much sleep last night. But yeah, have you heard anything from Grammy? We’re almost there, so we should have a plan.”
Almost on cue, from Frosty's pocket comes the muffled voice of Grammy. "Hey guys, you should almost be here. When you arive, you'll be greeted by a servant who will bring you directly to the room the gala is being held in. I'll be by the drinks on the far left wall. See ya then."
While heavily tempted, Leokoris knows it's better for him to delay drinking until the job isn't done.
"I can put on some show for the audience so that people shouldn't pay much attention to what's going on in their surroundings. Maybe I'll be able to gather some intel while I'm at it."
The wagon slows down, an shortly parks out side the manor. Promptly, well dressed servant opens the door and ushers you inside. He leads you don a few halls to a large room. There are dozens of guests, most all of them rich as hell.
Darbakh winces at the gaudy jewelry and loud conversations around them. "So I'm 'Frosty,' lads, and I own a farm for those weird trees which the humans put holiday gifts under. That's my story. How do we know each other, in case we're asked?"
[ooc : I'm assuming Leokoris true identity is well known among the nobles, since he is a (lesser) noble himself after all.]
"We could say I met you at an auction event, that would make the most of sense. How about we meet outside near the entrance after a couples of minutes once I finish my performance ?"

"Sounds good. Hopefully, our congregating will appear natural to everyone else."
Aeron decides to take a look around the manor, while not trying too look too conspicuous. After all, they’re here to snoop around and expose Gilgamech as the fraud he is.
(tell me if perception, investigation, or any other check is needed)
Uhm, I'd say wait until you actually go somewhere. Though what's your passive perception?
The gala room has 4 doors. The big one you entered through, with a smaller one on that wall, as well as two on the opposite wall. The one on the entrance wall looks like it's some sort of closet, while the other two probably lead somewhere.
There isn't anything of interest in the gala room itself, but as you kinda meander around, some movement catches your eye. You see Sir. Gilgamech himself slip through the left door on the back wall. It wouldn't be weird if it weren't for the almost sneaky way he did it. What could've kept him this late from his own party?
Darbakh clears his throat and sleeps through the crowd towards the left wall - where the host disappeared to, and where he assumes Grammy must be waiting.

“We could say we’re traveling merchants. Would explain our “wealth” and not draw too many questions.”
