Izek's background sounds tragic and...weird, which is no surprise really. "Thank you."She remarks to the priest before turning to the others.
"The Baron 'decided to turn Izek into who he is'? I knew that man seemed unreasonable and crazy about 'unhappiness', but imagine being raised by him..."
Her life in the Underdark hadn't been so different, she supposes. Raised to follow orders above all. She fought and killed anyone for her House's Matron without a second thought, and would have kept mindlessly doing so forever...if the spirits hadn't started clinging to her. The drow's expression is distant for a moment before she shakes her head; she doesn't like to remember the way she was before.
"The toy shop is... here." He points to one of the larger buildings on your map. "It's called Blinsky's Toys. You'll know it by the slogan posted on its sign and every one of its toys. 'Is No Fun, Is No Blinsky!'"
if we have time then I'd like to spend some time in prayer. Zan sets about looking for ink, or ash and water. If find ash and water then he'll mix them into a paste. While praying he'll use the ink or paste and a stick or similar item, to draw Kelemvor's holy symbol on his chest and the backs of each of his hands. ((In hopes this will work as my holy symbol for spell casting))
Kessintra's eyes widen momentarily in surprise and she averts her gaze from Amelia, not wanting to be the one to explain such a thing to the highborn elf. She quickly turns her attention to the task at hand.
"Good idea. We catch him and make him talk."
She will use her disguise kit to make herself look like one of the women she saw visit the church last night.

OOC don't think Zan and cast spells under he gets the holy symbol issue resolved.
You can cast spells as normal without a focus, and the body paint counts as a holy symbol anyway. The only thing a holy symbol/spellcasting focus affects is material components without explicit costs.

You find a few holy symbols and texts, all for the Morninglord Lathander.

Kess realizes the others must be hungry after being locked up and gives them each a ration before eating one herself.
@Zan
Amelia extends her longsword to the Half-Elf, her expression calm and reassuring.
“Never mind, you’ve done nothing wrong. Take this—it’s lighter than your own weapon, but still a fine blade.”
@Ismirk
“Wait! Did you say Lake Zarovich?” Amelia opens eyes with sudden interest.
“We’re searching for a wizard’s tower and a wolf den near a lake. Tell us where it is—it might help us in the fight against Strahd!”
((It was the priest who mentioned the lake))
The priest answers, "It's just north of the city, though I can't say I remember any towers there."

"And where is the toy shop you mentioned? I'm a little surprised the town has one, not to mention that Izek would be interested in it."

Zan nods toward Amelia, thank you.

“What kind of toy shop isn’t fun? Is it one of those ‘adult toy shops’ I’ve heard about from a colleague? I have no idea what that means, though…”
Amelia pauses, pondering the thought for a moment before shrugging.
“Anyway, it doesn’t matter. It sounds like the perfect place for an ambush. We can capture the enforcer and use his disguise to free Ireena.”
The priest, a bit shocked, quietly comments, "Um... No it's not that kind of shop....."
Zan, make a religion check with advantage.

You make a good disguise. You certainly don't look like yourself anymore. Everyone but Kessintra make a stealth check on the way to the toy shop.

OOC: You all can use Amelia or Zan’s Bless and Guidance!
11+ 3 guidance
OOC don't think Zan and cast spells under he gets the holy symbol issue resolved.
Amelia casts *Bless* on Zan, Garrick, and herself, then neutralizes her disadvantage with Skipper’s *Help Action*.
Stealth Check:
5
17 (in case *Help Action* isn’t approved by the DM, Imade two checks)
Bless Bonus:
4
Guidance Bonus:
2
