Razz notices the other wagon and waves back. He's also trying to take in his surroundings as best he can. "OH, these must be the other adventurers finally. Well then, should we get down and meet everyone Hooty?" And with that Razz stands up and takes one more look around the area and then flutters down to in between the wagons trying not to get too close to the horses. "Take it from someone fun-sized—picking fights with bigger creatures usually just ends with me dodging a lot of stomping feet." Razz says while pointing a finger at the black horses.
When you fly forward, you start to hear the faint sound of screaming emanating from the elven driver. In the carriage you spot four humans- two men, two women- and a male hadozee. The two women suspiciously look exactly alike.
At the mention of the Morninglord, Ada perks up. "I am a follower of Lathander as well," she mentions, but then the carriage comes into view.
Someone waves at them and Ada raises a tentative hand in a short wave back. The aasimar paladin descends from the wagon after her fairy companion and approaches the carriage. Ada is relatively tall, with long, white hair which she keeps pinned back in a practical bun. There is a glow of celestial light in her blue eyes, the mark of an aasimar. Her chain mail armor is white and gold, and the cloak that she wears is similarly white with gold trim. She wears an amulet of Lathander around her neck. She hefts a heavy-looking halberd as her primary weapon, but there are javelins and a heavy crossbow strapped to her back along with her pack.
"Greetings," she says to the people in the carriage. "My name is Ada Kendrick, Knight of Lathander. I received a summons by a Lord Strahd von Zarovich to protect his future bride. I am oathbound to protect those in need and so here I am. My companion is Razz, but he can introduce himself."
When you fly forward, you start to hear the faint sound of screaming emanating from the elven driver. In the carriage you spot three humans- two men, one woman- a female drow, and a male hadozee.
((Kess, the drow, is currently disguised as Ireena, the female human. So it looks like a set of twins.))
"Oh, I see..." Kess remarks at Ada's introduction, giving a sidelong glance at Rahadin, the elderly elven driver. "That summons left out a few details, but we're glad to have you on board. This is Ireena, the br--ah, the one we're protecting," one of the identical human women, clad in studded leather armor with rogues' weaponry and an ancient looking lyre at her side, gestures to her twin, "And I'm Kessintra. No relation."
Razz is looking around at the two wagons and all the new friends but back at the elven driver, trying to figure out what he's screaming about. "What? What did I do? Please don't scream! That's not very nice."
He looks back at you with a deadpan face. You can still hear the screams as he speaks. "People keep telling me they hear screams around me. I've heard many, especially when I perform an execution. I can assure you, however, I don't hear any now."

Garrick with Striker (Striker is bigger than shown)
“Hi there, I’m Garrick.” (human male). You can see a collection of workman tools hanging at his belt and a crossbow in his hand. A huge steel snake is draped around his shoulders, and it seems lifeless until it picks its head up and gives a soft hiss in the newcomers general direction. “And this is Striker, my companion.” (Artificer’s steel defender)
"Hello all, as Ada has said, my name is Razz, just Razz, I don't have anything fancy like a last name though it's only because I haven't found one I like enough to take it. " Razz says as he looks around like he's trying to find his target. "I've been sent here as a celestial messenger from The Morninglord to help combat the evils that befall these lands. It's a slight to him which cannot be allowed it to linger any longer. It has already started seeping out of the region and a village I called hom was attacked. Only though Morninglord's guiding light was I able to save my village from the skeletons that attacked us. But enought about me (Fairy Celestial Warlock with owl familiar). Hooty, come here and meet the nice people. You don't want to get left behind now do you?" His celestial Owl familiar lands on his shoulder and stretches its wings, almost as wide as Razz's own.
Ada eyes the carriage driver with some suspicion, hearing the strange screaming noise emanating from him. "That is a very...peculiar condition to have," she tells the driver.
Ada nods at the introductions offered by the others. She is especially drawn to the human woman, Ireena, the one they are supposed to be protecting. She notices that the woman, Kessintra, claims to be of no relation and yet looks exactly like Ireena. She tilts her head to the side. "I see...no relation. Are you performing a ruse then? You act as bait to draw out the attackers, keeping the real Ireena safe from harm? Clever plan."
Even though Striker hisses at her and Razz, the paladin gives it a small smile. She is fond of all animals, even the mechanical ones, and even the ones fashioned to look like snakes, which most people seem to fear.
"Welcome, Razz. You'll find no shortage of evil here, much of it intent on harming Ireena." Kessintra is normally skeptical of deities and their supposed aid, but her experience in Barovia so far has made it clear that divine magic is highly effective against the enemies they must face. She gives Ada a nod and a weak smirk.
"Yes, that's the idea, though it hasn't been very effective so far. Strahd saw right through it somehow..." She frowns to herself before sighing, contemplating how best to explain their current status regarding the Count, before deciding it can wait until they get Ireena somewhere safer than this desolate road. She looks towards Rahadin with faint amusement.
"You really can't hear it? Lucky you...Ah, anyway, about that sign ahead: Is the Wizard of Wines a real wizard?"
Well then, should we get down and meet everyone Hooty?"
[[ In another campaign, though it seems to likely have died, my warlock also had a familiar named Hooty! (In his case short for Hootius Battius; had flavored it as a bat-owl hybrid) ]]
Chipper also comes out to greet the newcomers. The hadozee is dressed in practical clothing and extends a warm hand, "Pleasure to meet you, Razz and Ada." He smiles in delight at the fairy's familiar. "Devotees of Lathander you say? I myself have a fondness for Azuth, but I've always had an admiration for followers of the Morning Lord and their hope in new dawns." He looks up at the grey skies and adds, "Gods know this place could certainly use an actual dawn."
"Well hello friend. Nice to meet you too. Is that everyone or is that carriage more of a jester cart and there's more of you waiting to pop out?"Razz asks almost eagerly waiting to see if he's correct. "Speaking of Dawn, I think it's been awhile since we first set out at dawn this morning. Does anyone know how long we have until dusk? I'm guessing none of us shoudl be out after dark in this region? I'll go ahead and hop on top with Hooty, if that's all right with everyone else. Being inside carriages and wagons leaves little room for my wings to stretch and flex."
[[That's hilarious I picked it randomly but I figured it was a fitting name since Razz is a Fairy and I'm playing him at pretty simple and straightforward unless it comes to his powers and Morninglord/Lathander]]
The sky is no use to tell the time. Dense clouds prevent most light from coming through, only allowing enough for you to see clearly. The elf replies, "You're certainly right that you shouldn't venture at night. It's been about four hours since dawn; there should be about 8 more, but travel to Villaki should take about an hour and a half."

The auburn-haired girl perks up at the mention of her name. "Oh, uh, Yeah. Sure." The man next to her puts his arm around her, trying to comfort her. Ireena seems to be shaking a little, and her skin is slightly pale.

It's hard to see, but you think the branch leads to a place called "The Wizard of Wines".
