Gorath: "Hmm... If that's where you'll look first, do you want a lift up? If so, here's the bag of holding I promised." A Kobold Guard runs in and gives it to Bokshir. (Bokshir recognizes Him, He was a fellow Guard named Gad) "Ronoldo, go to the stables and get the two horses ready"
Ronoldo: "Right away. Sire." As he walks out, he turns back to you guys and says "... good luck."
(Someone go ahead and add the bag of holding to your inventory. Please let me know who did so. Gad will initially give it to Bokshir, but if someone else would rather hold it, that can be discussed. If they so with, they can add the Cultists Scroll to their inventory as well, unless they put it in the bag of holding.)
The King lowers his head in front of the party, awaiting for them to climb on
Bokshir smiles and nods at Gad and accepts the bag of holding, "Thank, Gad". He isn't at all pompous with the guard, or superior, treating him with respect because he knows how little respect lowly guards normally receive. He will place the scroll into the bag of holding to keep it safe.
When Ronaldo wishes them good luck, he merely waves. Ronaldo hadn't treated him with much respect before he was elevated, so he didn't feel the need to return any now.
He then sees King Gorath lower his head for them to climb on and his eyes light up. He starts to hop from one foot to the other in excitement, but a thought crosses his mind and he stops.
"Majesty said ceremony free Tiamat from Orb. What is ceremony? What needed to do? Who needed to do?", he asks as he carefully climbs on the King, wondering if that was a good avenue to explore when looking for the thief. If the cult needed to acquire other items or kidnap certain people.
“I unfortunately do not know. It is a cult kept secret that only its members know. I’m honestly lucky to know as much as I’ve already told you. Now, hold on tight”
Everyone roll an athletics or acrobatics check to see if you stay on the dragon as he takes flight (if you fail, you’ll fall off as he takes off, and will only take 1d4 of damage)
Bokshir, however, slips of just as the king takes off, and takes 1d4 damage. Once the king lets the other two on the top of his lair, he gets Bokshir and actually takes him up, no second roll required.
you three are now atop his lair, with full view of the Kingdom of Ruuth. It is a vast city, with many wood and stone buildings. There is a variety in types of building in many heights and shapes. There are 4 Kobold Guards Surrounding the skylight, all of whom start to point their spears at Ryx and Aruzhal, until Gorath Stops them as he drops Bokshir off. “Drop your weapons, they have my permission to be up here!” The Kobolds bow, then return to the position they were in before you arrived.
Bokshir slips and tumbles, landing with a thud on the thankfully fairly soft ground. He looks incredibly sheepish as King Gorath returns to carry him up. When he reaches the top of the lair, he dusts himself off and once more equips his sentinel shield.
He waves at the two guards that have now stood down, before starting to look around.
"Is just you here last day? If other, tell please who. Tell whether also Kobold", he requests of the kobold guards, hoping to determine what tracks they might find that are not suspicious.
"Good good. So need look for tracks that not kobold", Bokshir replies and suggests to the others. "That mean you be careful where walk Aruzhal. Not want your tracks to get in way".
With that said, he will carefully move forward and look for tracks.
Ryx chuckles to himself and shakes his head in merriment as Bokshir falls off Gorath. That Kobold is too bigheaded sometimes, not even thinking of holding on before the great dragon takes off, a little bit of humility will do him good. He's never boring, that's for sure, Ryx thinks to himself, happy he found such good friends in his new life. Once Bokshir arrived and the guards were calmed, Ryx will begin looking for any signs of clues that an intruder was up here.
Yes that is as good a place to start as any. I think maybe afterwards we go check out the tavern, who knows what kind of gossip is floating around.

Aruzhal nods. "We are ready. A lift would be much appreciated." He bows.
"Thank you. verry much, brave adventurers."

Aruzhal climbs on, his footsteps light.
I’m fine with Bokshir being the pack mule 😂
Ryx reverently bows and climbs on too, unable to believe he is touching let alone riding the great dragon.

Aruzhal nearly slips, but is able to stay on, and Ryx grips onto the King with dear life..

Aruzhal nods slowly, watching for anything out of the ordinary. He whispers in a low grunt, magic enhancing his vision as he looks.
((Casting guidance - @DM may Aruzhal make an investigation check as well? I remember you wanted us to ask first before we make any checks.))
Nevermind the thing about asking to make checks. Everyone Go ahead and make the check
