The party treks back to where the camp was. But as they come close, they find it oddly empty. The kobold's main hut is still burned down but so are the others. And from the previous time there, you know they were still up last you saw them. The cultists' huts and guard towers are still up but no one occupies them. The only movement you can see is a hunter riding into the camp with his prey. He takes the deer to the hut where you had breakfast.
The hunter does spot Z'ress as she trips on a rock. But doesn't remark upon it and keeps on going towards the hutt. Even though it was a somewhat loud fall, nothing else stirs.
No one contests any of you. The only person at the camp is the hunter as he comes back out from the hut without the deer. He readies his horse once more as it seems he's going to ride out again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Z'ress moves further in, pass the hunter, and checks to see where the cultists could have gone. In her search, she finds that they all moved in different directions in small groups.

Yet she notes that most of the wagons and pack animals have gone due west. It will take a while to search the whole camp but another point of interest was that cave. They weren't allowed near it before but now there's no one guarding it in this abandoned camp. The hunter packs his stuff as he leads the horse to eat and drink before heading off.
Z'ress will tell the party what she has found. "So do we go after them or check out this cave for any signs of what they could have been hiding inside?"

Reso crosses his arms. "We could go in the cave to see if they have left anything or anyone behind. It would mean we would potentially lose them but it is the safer route."

The entrance to the cave is broad and tall, but the ceiling quickly lowers to a height of 15 feet. The party meets the same as the camp, an empty abode, but the cave goes deeper in. Perhaps it isn't.
(Gonna be trying to use an actual map for when you guys fight next. Have some practice with a new program.)
