While a couple of the group talk with eachother Abathax stays at the back of the group, not sure what to make of this. He is not used to working together, but now his master has said he should work with these adventurers. Maybe he should also talk with them than, he thinks so he walks a bit quicker to walk next to Silvosh
"What do you make of that story, do you think it to be true?"

“If it comessss to passing, I will throw mysssself unto the firessss of fate” Ssha assures the centaur…
”… you have yet to see me….
….. ENRAGED” Ssha declares with an intensity that perhaps seems borderline unhinged.
"Heh, now there's something I can agree with. No one will be 'passing' on my watch except the Balowang." Aralia nods to herself, giving the centaur a resolute look.
Abishai takes a book and pen out of his pack and hastily writes down some notes as the group talks. '...Fires of fate..see me enraged!' '...not on my watch except the Balowang.' This is good stuff, Abishai thinks to himself as he returns the book to his pack.
"Aralia is right. Not even the mightiest of beasts will stand a chance against a motley crew like us." With a playful smile, Abishai turns to Silvosh and asks, "Do you ever let anyone ride on your back, or is that not a thing Centaurs do? Asking for... a friend."
Abishai again thinks about how nice it would be to drink an ale right now as he pulls out his waterskin and takes a sip.
You all set out at a fairly brisk pace; you have around 10 miles of idyllic countryside to cover, and are hoping to arrive in Alkton before the late evening so you can get a room in a tavern to bed down in and rest, before meeting Brimbul bright and early the next morning, ready to chase your first hint, whatever it may be. (It was about 2-3 o'clock when you set out, so you'd be getting there at around 6 if you walked at a moderate pace the whole way, though that will depend on whether you stop or not.)
However, around an hour into your march, Abishai spots something rather curious in the distance, which you all soon notice as you get closer. About half a mile away, a hill giant and wyvern seem to be tussling with each other. The wyvern is flying around the giant and trying to sting it, whilst the giant is aiming to swat it out of the sky with the back of it's club like one would do with an irritating wasp. Overall, the pair seem to be extremely disgruntled with each other, and neither seem to have any advantage in this battle; overall you'd imagine it'd be better for the both of them if they just left each other alone, but because of the two creature's stubbornness, or just sheer stupidity, you can't see that happening any time soon.
Aralia tilts her head as she observes the odd skirmish, resting a hand on the hilt of her blade. This is certainly not something you see everyday.
"It's dangerous for these things to get so close to the path. What say we divide and conquer? I can speak Giant, maybe trick it into thinking we're on its side. Take out the wyvern, then the big oaf too."
Abishai warns the group of the danger ahead, "Hold up! It looks like a hill giant fighting a wyvern ahead. Should we give them some space and go around?" Abishai ponders momentarily before adding, "It might be dangerous to the citizens in the area to ignore this threat. Though I prefer not to get into a fight here if it can be helped."
Abishai responds to Aralia, "Not a bad idea if you think the giant can be reasoned with."
With a playful smile, Abishai turns to Silvosh and asks, "Do you ever let anyone ride on your back, or is that not a thing Centaurs do? Asking for... a friend."
Silvosh replied, "I've carried people on my back before, but that's because they were unconscious and needed to be moved. I haven't anyone ride me like a horse. I don't like where their hands would go to hang on."
Silvosh pulled a long bow out of her quiver, then nocked an arrow, before saying, "I don't know why the wyvern is being so persistent in making a nuisance of itself, but if it did that to travelers, most would have a hard time with it. I'm fine with taking down the wyvern, those who can talk to it can decide what to do with about the giant."
Silvosh replied, "I've carried people on my back before, but that's because they were unconscious and needed to be moved. I haven't anyone ride me like a horse. I don't like where their hands would go to hang on."
Abishai's smile broadens while picturing where his hands would go in that situation.

"Makes sense to me." As Abishai begins to play a suspenseful tune on his lute. Directing his thoughts at Silvosh. "Take it down!"

Ssha takes note of aralia’s approach, wondering if he had made the introductions, he would be threatening the giant to stop bothering the draconic serpentine!
he instead stays silent, getting to know what band of murder hobos their patron had assembled ;)
Abathax takes his shield of his back and donns it, and takes a javelin in his other hand, ready to throw it at the Wyvern.

Wendell has been watching this curiously. So many of the party seem to have been willing to say that the beast would stand no chance against them, yet from his vision, it seems the preparation before he had chance to warn them was not enough. Naturally, he is happy that everyone is willing to chip in and protect each other, as by sharing his vision, he has hopefully changed the vision, though he is not foolish enough to believe that the future would be different until it happened. Time always finds a way. Perhaps this encounter would be able to give the party some practice in working as a team, before it is too late. He smiles as the others approach, moving with them but stopping 90ft away.

Aralia speaks up to the Giant in it's native tongue, her voice booming loud enough to catch it's attention. Between hopeless exchanges of near blows and misses, the Giant responds to her with 'The beast is after Hugnar's berries! Help me kill, and Hugnar will share his feast!' As he speaks, you notice that there is an enormous piece of white fabric, so large that it could easily be the sail of a ship, which is tied to the Giant's loincloth and has the corners fashioned together in a crude manner to form a bundle. Peeking out the top of this makeshift sack is a pile of some hefty, light blue, scaled berries, which look closest to some sort of bizarre dragon fruit, or perhaps even a strawberry of kinds in terms of appearance. Each of these berries is easily 4 foot tall in height, if not more, which makes sense considering the Giant's gargantuan nature, however you notice that the wyvern is aiming to fell the Giant to either steal, or possibly even reclaim, these fruits.
"Ah, I see." Aralia beholds the berries curiously, wondering what properties the strange fruit might have. "How generous! Of course we will help Hugnar!" She raises a hand to signal to the others that she's convinced the giant and the battle with the wyvern is on and draws her sword and shield. "Now, would you mind giving me a lift up to beast? I go up, it comes down!"
