"...and you of course mighty Arkon, well fought indeed." Valeria adds, smiling up at the massive goliath. "Another large one for you? Nothing quite heals as a good drink huh?" She adds, looking between the dwarf and the goliath carrying him.
Arkon gives a grin of pride at the compliment and nods. "Sounds good. Zim will want one too when he wakes up. Or maybe before." He gives a rumbling chuckle.
"Just one thing big guy, next time, don't hold off with any fight-ending swings." Val says with a grin and a wink to the massive goliath. "Seeing their captain in that sorry state would likely have ceased any hostilities from those pesky pirates." She adds with a good-natured nudge at Arkon. "It's reassuring to know you are on our side though."
Gorin stands with the others at the bar, gladly taking an ale aswell.

"Yes, will try starting with that next time," the goliath nods, giving Val a very very careful nudge back, "You did great too. Shooting magic and uh..." He vaguely motions at her bag. While not the brightest, he can be pretty perceptive and couldn't help noticing something pop out of the purse after it happened near him a few times.
Seeing none in the team eager to take on the tavern owner, Valeria lets out a small sigh but then she turns back to face the half-elf with a polite if somewhat strained smile. "Apologies to you and your patrons, I will make up for that round of drink if I may." She says, placing her pouch of golden coins on the counter to let the owner help himself to whatever is enough to get him in a better mood. "I suppose I could speak to the captain about unforseen but quite necessary expenses during our mission."She adds with a wry smile. "Our short friend in particular needs some place to rest and recover so lets start with a room for him."
The innkeeper takes 4 gold and passes back the pouch, "Thank you. You can put your friend in the first room up the stairs. We'll bring some food up once we finish cooking." He takes out a key and passes it to Valeria. He then looks out to the patrons, "Sorry for the commotion folks, as an apology, they'll be buying you all round on them!" He motions for his workers to bring out the gallons, setting them onto the bar counter. Patrons begin to flock around the counter, getting their free drink.
"Ah yes, that, well I mentioned having a few tricks, and I couldn't just stand by while you all fought those pestiferous pirates." Valeria says with a sly grin, barely standing even though the nudge was very very careful.
The young redhead accepts the key with a grateful smile and leads the way upstairs to make sure the deputees had a place to rest and recover, avoiding the rabble flocking for free drinks. "Well, suffice to say, we have the information we came here to collect. As soon as everyone has recovered from this we move on to the lair of the Dead Three." She says to those following once upstairs in the room. "Now rest, food will be brought here soon." She adds, looking around to make sure everyone found a place to rest.
Unless she is needed for anything in particular, as the deputees have been made comfortable the young red-haired lady would set out to do some shopping, hoping to find an outfit more suitable for venturing forth into a cultist lair, something like Tarina/Rhonda/Sammie had worn. She would then get a nice comfy room, a plate of nice food and a glass of wine at the Elfsong tavern to get fully rested before the next part of the mission, hoping to reunite with her fellow deputees later in the evening to lead the way to the public bathhouse their contact had told her about.
After their meal, Arkon will look for a spot with ample room to set up for the long rest. He has a bedroll but uses it rolled up as pillow; folks back home would probably make fun of him for going soft, but he has to admit it is an improvement over sleeping on stone.
Zim, Festering Wound; Deadeye's blade had cut deep into the dwarf, although no longer bleeding, a persistent pain throbs from it. Even more evident as pus started to come out from the wound Your hit point maximum is reduced by 1 every 24 hours the wound persists. If your hit point maximum drops to 0, you die. Someone can tend to the wound and make a DC 15 Wisdom (Medicine) check once every 24 hours; after ten successes, the wound heals.
When Zim awakes, he will ask for some help. Someone needs to perform a Medicine Check DC 15 on him for the day. Zim will be a good patient and provide advantge by helping.
"Ye, we saved her after Akron split deadeye in half."Gorin says still with a slightly disgusted face when he does. "Ill take the last watch, got some work to do at Zim's equipment anyway."

(Zim is unable to give help due to it being their own wound. Other players can though. The HP reduction will occur around the afternoon.) - For Zim's wound, will require a medicine check with a DC 15. No punishment on fail but the wound will persist until 10 successes are done. Checks can only be done once per day and HP reduction will also happen once per day. HP reduction is accumulated so the wound can kill if untreated.
As she is out shopping Valeria would purchase the outfit mentioned, along with a studded leather armor for some protection, a waterskin and a backpack where she puts her red gown and handbag during this part of the mission.
(Persuasion in case the prices can be negotiated: 7 )
Later in her room, Valeria would decide to call upon the powers of the mysterious coin she found, hoping it will be a blessing rather than a curse. New Dexterity: 13
As midnight draws near, Valeria would quietly gather the others to see if they are ready to proceed with the mission. Assuming they all are she would quietly lead them to the bath house where their contact explained they would find the secret entrance to the cult hideout, letting the invisible Mal flutter ahead to warn her of threats in the night.
At the end of the long rest Gorin, while working on infusing Zim's equipment, asks the others what they know about the cult as he is not from Baldur's Gate.

The mercenaries give a nod but other wise pay no heed to the party, continuing their nightly routine. The bathhouse is a one-story stuccoed building with stained-glass windows and clay roof tiles. Ten-foot-tall walls enclose a large courtyard outside the southeast corner of the building. The closed wooden doors to the courtyard are engraved with images of smiling nymphs dancing and frolicking in water.

(I am assuming that a long rest is coming next, did anyone want to do anything during it? I know Gorin will be doing Infusions.)
Before taking a long rest, Sarris will come over to Zim and lay on a hand Cure Wounds
{game log} 2d8+3 ( 4, 8) Healing .. 12+3 = 15 hp. (( one time per long rest/limited use due to Guide background ))
"You did good, Zim. Many thanks for your good, strong arm and even stronger heart. Rest easy now."
Sarris turns to the rest of his companions, "With your leave, I shall trance rest then, I can take the remainder of the watch for mid night to dawn."
If no one has issue, he will lay down a bedroll and blanket and set up a corner of the room for him to meditate/trance rest.
"Aye, and did we save the lass Trina? What a glorious fight. See you in the morning."

Durak is not in the mood for a round of drinks with the dead nearby so he will thankfully head for the room for a long rest.
Long rest is starting - shall end near midnight.
