Vaelen’s gaze flicks skyward, where his raven glides just above the glow of torchlight. A soft murmur escapes him as he closes his eyes, momentarily merging his senses with the familiar’s. In the far distance, he discerns the dull shuffle of guards, their circles of light weaving back and forth across the rubble.
After a measured pause, Vaelen returns his focus to Kaelen, voice hushed,“They move in pairs to the eastern flank. We can slip past once they turn toward the tents.”
He waits for Kaelen’s nod, then signals the raven again. With a subtle shift of its wings, the bird directs their timing, offering help as they try to cross unseen.
Stealth to make it the rest of the way through the guards (Assuming there is more to cross) : 13 (If the raven's help gives advantage: 15)
Vaelen also makes it through without problem. As far as Kaelen can tell, the security on the inside is much more lax. They must be confident that nobody can get through. Do you guys have an ultimate target, regarding where you're trying to get to inside the ruins?

Ok, can Traeth make 3 stealth checks, and one acrobatics/athletics check? Sorry about the later reply, I wasn't getting emails or notifications for a hot minute.
The moment Traeth moves toward the keep, he steps in a large pile of kindling set aside for the fires. There's a [very] loud SNAP. SNAP SNAP. He breaks through most of the pile.
What little talk there was in the camp dies out instantly. A deep, gruff voice calls out from somewhere; "Is that you Jorkle?"

Can Traeth make an Intelligence check on what species have "Jorkle" as a common name?
Kaelen casts disguise self to take the form of one of the human guards he saw earlier, hoping their voice will sound similar enough to Jorkle to quell any suspicion.
"Yes. Argh, I just realized I forgot something. Be right back."He grabs Traeth's hand and tries to lead him down an alternate, darker path.
Kaelen will continue towards the tower with Traeth and presumably the others. Since he is in disguise he will focus on helping the dwarf move stealthily.

First floor of the tower I think.
Yeah, that works.
Traeth is going to wait for an opening, and dash as quickly as possible to inside of the tower as quickly as possible.

How loud is a shrug?
If there is a ruckus, Owen jogs up to Traeth and says, "Come on man, we're supposed to finish digging the latrine."
If there is no ruckus, Owen sighs in relief.

Traeth fumbled pretty much right away. Everyone heard.
As far as he knows, it's just a name. Probably human, since they name people all sorts of odd things.
Does Owen's action work?

Uhm, I mean he says it, and likely it was heard by a number of people, but the guy still asks the question.
Kaelen casts disguise self to take the form of one of the human guards he saw earlier, hoping their voice will sound similar enough to Jorkle to quell any suspicion.
"Yes. Argh, I just realized I forgot something. Be right back." He grabs Traeth's hand and tries to lead him down an alternate, darker path.
The man grunts, telling Jorkle to keep it down and doesn't say anything else.
