Alright then…. As Narath enters the area you smell that the cave reeks of rot, and the floor is covered with decaying vegetation. Three small mushroom-folk are working amid the filth. In the southwest corner of the cave, a bulbous object the size of a cart clings to the wall and ceiling, glistening like a glob of jelly. Just how close do you enter by the way
Narath will walk right up to the mushroom folk and sheath his sword, "Greetings! We've just killed that tentacled beast that was harrassing you and wish to know what is happening in your cave. Is there anything you and your people require help with? What are your names?" Narath has always preferred a straight up approach to these problems.
The three mushroom folk look at all of you cautiously just as they are about to say something 8 what appears to be a mix of a bat and mosquito flying creatures swoop in protecting them thinking you are here to harm them and they go deeper into the cave.
Since there’s many enemies this time I’ll just roll one initiative for all of them and break them into small groups to make things go quicker and easier
Elle as you examine the creatures you remember seeing them in a book and identifying them as Stirges and they cling on to their prey sucking up their blood until the prey dies of blood loss they pose little danger in small numbers but a pack of them makes them a threat, however a burst of magical flames shoots out of Jodhr and manages to hit them and they all fall to the ground the smell of burning flesh immediately fills the air.
I’ll be granting inspiration to Jodhr as he cleverly used his magic to deal with the large group, to keep things fair on who gets inspiration if you do something that impresses me or your character overcomes something like from their past or something then I’ll reward you, etc. I’ll be as fair as possible so everyone has a chance or improvising by using everyday items as a weapon or barricade, or if you all work together to accomplish something.
Zooke smiles, right behind you cousin.
"Bah! They know we're 'ere anyhow"
Jodhr grumbles as he rolls up his pant legs. He's curious what's going on and better to get things over with so he can start poking around
If you do decide to be stealthy I’ll need a stealth check from all of you
Narath will not bother to roll a Stealth check and just march straight into area B3

(I’ll assume it’s the mushroom people that fled and not the bay things.)
Narath’s yell at the bay things attacking him is a little shrill as he pulls out his sword and takes a swipe at them:
Initiative: 13
Longsword at Bat Thing Attack: 10 Damage: 10 Slashing and that Thing has Disadvantage on its next attack roll.
(Haha Initiative 0! I’ve never seen that before.)
The mushroom people fled should have made that clearer
I’ve never seen a 0 initiative before I find it funny though and shocked
This is what your going up against
(Yuck!)
Jodhr tries to scare the things off with a bolt of Arcane fire.
(Rolling attack and damage in game log)
The gnats grow big in this area! Initiative 18
"What is that monstrosity?" Can Elle roll Arcana or Nature to see if he knows what they are?
Initiative: 6
Familiar's Initiative:18

(I appreciate it)
Jodhr cracks a show slight smile at his handy-work
"Disgusting little blighters"
He says as he checks on the party
