In spite of the difficulties and complications that could arise when faced against larger numbers, Gimmond grew increasingly enamored with the idea of really putting his halberd through its paces. Although bereft of any certainty on the angle of any future foes' approach meant settling for making sure to position himself near Zumfir and making sure few if any threats came near her without suffering a rebuke.
All that say I'm fine with the standard start positioning. But if the party wants to split a part a little to mitigate potential aoes, Gimmond would still er on the side of caution and stay within 5ft of Zumfir.

Twinkle does some stretches and practices with her new elemental powers, but is otherwise excited for the next fight. She nods her head gratefully at Zumfir, feeling the empowerment.
"Normally, yes. But the more opportunity you give wolves to act, the more advantageous their pack tactics tend to be."Gimmond curtly explained while trying to size up the group. "Fortunately though... I have just the thing. You lot keep together and focus your fire on the wolves to the north. I'll tend to the ones in the south."He said, though towards the latter half of his advice was already in the midst of rushing the southern most wolves with halberd in hand, and quickly swept it in wide arcs to cut down as many wolves as he could in one go.
Mo: Using full 30ft if need be to get within 5ft of the centermost wolf by the South Gate. Ac: Halberd vs Wolf[aka one closest to left side of map](AC ??) - To Hit: 21 For: 8 Slashing Damage. (Bless included) If hit, using both Cleave and spending superiority die for Sweeping Attack vs Wolf[Centermost for Southern Pack). Center Most wolf automatically takes 6 slashing damage from Sweeping Attack. Cleaving Halberd vs Wolf(AC ??) - To Hit: 24 For: 7 Slashing Damage. (Bless included, but no strength mod) If Cleave hits, spending a 2nd superiority die for Sweeping attack vs leftmost wolf(if still alive), or rightmost wolf if left was downed by first strike, dealing 5slashing damage.
OOC: Gimmond will action surge if unable to take down 2 wolves. So DM can just let me know if its needed. Also forgot to roll twice initially for that 2nd attack using Savage Attacker Feat, but it was a 7 anyways, so no change in damage. :P
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using a Halberd, you can make a melee attack roll with the Halberd against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the Halberd’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Sweeping Attack
When you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using a weapon or an Unarmed Strike, you can expend one Superiority Die to attempt to damage another creature. Choose another creature within 5 feet of the original target and within your reach. If the original attack roll would hit the second creature, it takes damage equal to the number you roll on your Superiority Die. The damage is of the same type dealt by the original attack.
Gimmond does take down two wolves (but it takes both sweeping attacks to kill both. So the third is uninjured)
In terms of the map, the wolves are A-F in line with rainbow order (left to right, top to bottom). Lions are A-B as Red to Pink. (And there were no lions in the free characters on Roll20 and I didn't want to upload one so they are cats)
Zumfir will cast Faerie Fire on the 3 wolves on the north, outlining the creatures and giving whoever attacks them advantage if the beasts fail a DC14 DEX saving throw.
"It would be best if we don't give them chance to counter-attack! Let's thin their numbers!"
"Sounds like a plan." Athos will run north to just below the red wolf. He swings his longsword in a powerful arc with a natural 20 (for 26 to hit) for 16 slashing damage.
Seeing that Gimmond has the southern side under control, Twinkle rushes at the other group with Athos.
On her way there, the monks skin heats up and steam hisses all about her. Her fists begin to crackle as elemental energies swirl about them.
[As a free action, Twinkle activates Elemental Attunement, giving her 10 foot reach and letting her do elemental damage.]
"Bad dogs!" The monk, intent on thinning the enemy numbers as fast as possible, strains her body to the utmost and unleashes a veritable storm of fists upon the wolves.
[Action] Attack 1: 14 / 13 , damage: 10 fire [Bonus action] Flurry of blows Attack 2: 17 / 16, damage: 8 fire Attack 3: 23 / 16, damage: 8 fire
If the mighty strike from Athos has felled the first wolf, Twinkle will attack the orange one. Should that one fall, she will attack the yellow one. The monk will keep a 10 foot distance to the wolves, launching her fiery attacks at them [positioning so she avoids having to get into opportunity attack range]. She will then retreat west, so as not to present a target to the lions.
[All attacks including bless. Rolled twice each. If Twinkle had advantage due Faerie Fire, take the higher, otherwise take the first. Edit: ah, doesn't matter anyway lol]

"It would be best if we don't give them chance to counter-attack! Let's thin their numbers!"
Wolf A fails (6), the other two succeed (18 and 21).
Which Athos immediately kills. Twinkle almost kills the second with her first hit (left on 1hp). But then kills it and severely injures the final northern one.
The lions move over to attack alongside the wolves. One of each on Athos and Gimmond.
The lions take two attacks. On Athos: 12 and 23 (one hit) for 4 damage. On Gimmond: 14 and 24 (one hit) for 6 damage.
The wolves take 1 attack each. Athos: 20 for 8 damage. On Gimmond: 21 for 7 damage.
Athos [probably] gets the wolf, so Twinkle moves within 10 feet of the lion and gives it the old one-two punch with her fiery fists.
[Action] Attack 1: 21 , damage: 10 fire [Bonus action] Attack 2: 14, damage: 10 fire [rolling really good on the damage right now, wow]
Assuming the lion doesn't die from this, she will then move west far enough so the lion would provoke an opportunity attack from Athos if it were to follow her. If it does die, she moves to the middle of the arena.
Gimmond was able to ward off the initial onslaught, but loses his grip on the halberd as its claw digs into his side. Still he finds a moment to break out the war pick and slam it into the side of the Lion.
Free Action: Draw Pickaxe Ac: Two-Handed War Pick vs Lion(AC ??) - To Hit: 24 For: 9 Piercing Damage. (Bless included)
Not going to update the map as positions haven't really changed. Athos does get the wolf, and Twinkle leaves the lion clinging onto life (2hp). It wants to attack Twinkle but as she is too far away, it goes for Athos. One rend hits (20) and the other misses (10). 6 damage total.
The lion at Gimmond has been hurt but is still standing strong. Even with advantage (from pack tactics and the wolf) it misses twice. The one remaining wolf gets a solid bite. 21 to hit for 8 damage.
Athos turns on the lion who clawed his back and retaliates with a 26 to hit (with bless) for 11 slashing damage. "That's it for this side, let's go help Gimmond." He moves over the lion he cut down and heads down to help Gimmond on his next turn.
"Blasted pooch! Get. Off!"Barked out Gimmond as he struggled but ultimately succeeded in pulling his leg free. After taking a few seconds to steady his footing and catch his breath, the dwarf once more laid into the lion, this time aiming for the shoulder if not the head.
Ba: Second wind, regaining 7 Hp. Ac: Two-Handed War Pick vs Lion(AC ??) - To Hit: 10 For: 0 Piercing Damage. (Bless included, but pretty sure a 10 misses)

The left gate sounds good to Athos.
Zumfir will stay where he is, in the backline, Casting Bless on everyone (but himself) to prepare for the next battle.
Twinkle does some stretches and practices with her new elemental powers, but is otherwise excited for the next fight. She nods her head gratefully at Zumfir, feeling the empowerment.
Sorry, was waiting for chance to get a map up, but work is busy so going mapless for now.
3 wolves enter at the north and south gates, while two lions enter at the east gate.
You are all up first. Good luck

"Should we let them come to us?" Athos eyes the wolves and the lions and the open areas of the arena as he waits for a response.
"Normally, yes. But the more opportunity you give wolves to act, the more advantageous their pack tactics tend to be." Gimmond curtly explained while trying to size up the group. Zumfir would cast a 2nd level Guiding bolt against the Lion attacking Gimmond.
Attack: 7 (Nat 1, dayum :c)
