From Grundam's perspective, Steve's legs suddenly slide upwards and begin to vanish, then come to a sudden stop with his heels and bare feet still showing out of the mouth.
Steve has managed to push his hands against the wall to prevent himself from falling. Unfortunately it's pitch black where he is, so he can't see how far this would keep going, but it feels like a steep decline rather than a sudden drop beneath him. He's not sure how long he can hold himself there, but for the current time being, he is "secure" in place.
Thursday collects the other torches and heads to the end of the hall with the others. Hearing the calamity she does so quickly and tries to provide light for the man in the mouth

Grundam can still see Steve's legs sticking out of the mouth (just up to the ankles, though). If he wants to go in, he'll be bumping into Steve's butt.
Thursday collects the torches together, getting about a half dozen torches held between his her hands. The other end of the room darkens further, as the motes descend down towards the ground, enveloping the white statue in darkness.
Grundam attempts to force his way into the demon's maw, while Steve attempts to resist. I would like an opposed Strength Saving Throw from the two of you, the one who gets the highest number is successful, be it bracing and keeping them there, or both falling into the demon's mouth.
With her hands full, Thursday rushes to the pair in the demon's mouth. She can't really put a torch in there without risking setting the raggedy clothing on fire, but can see something interesting, there is a black foggy like substance which appears to obscure the interior of the mouth, repelling the torchlight away.
Thursday carefully sets the torches down making sure at least one stays lit. Looking for a place to hold onto the wall or dark face to try and pull the two up

Thursday begins to place the torches down to allow for better dexterity with her hands as suddenly the feet disappear.
Steve and Grundam find themselves hurtling down what seems to be a large stone chute. They feel the ground beneath them is somewhat slick, fortunately meaning they won't be gaining any burns on their fronts as they hurtle further down into the depths.
Unfortunately this descent is in complete darkness, so Steve cannot see the close environment around him. He is relying on his other senses, mostly touch, as he feels the falling down the chute seems to curve in a gradual spiral pattern.
There is no like bunks in the cells right? I’m look for sheets or bedding or more rags or anything to make a makeshift rope or for actual rope if not I’ll wait until they fully fall down the chute

If its a spiral pattern, Steve isn't worried about the speed/velocity, but would attempt to at least reorient himself as to not be face first down the chute.

Steve (Level 1 Human Variant Monk) currently in LOST IN THE ENDLESS TOWER
(Unfortunately not, there was nothing else in the cells beside the other people.)
Thursday realises that she's now alone in this area. With the only illumination being the torches on the floor beside her, the motes of darkness seem to be slowly encroaching on her location, the dimming light of the torches being her only comfort.
In the slide, Steve is attempting to reorient himself, but it is going to be pretty difficult as he is being followed down very closely by Grundan and it is a tight squeeze. (DC 18 Acrobatic check. On a 10 or less, you get caught up in the slide.)
Thursday gathers all her torches back up, bundling them together to create a more intense light.
(This seems to be the only way out, at least they’ll break my fall if I need to and it beats being up here with whatever these things are) she thinks to herself.
She braces herself to get ready for a long drop and follows the others down the chute.

Grundam
I crawl in behind Steve. I assume without hearing screams, it’s probably ok.
Assuming I’ll have the same check for holding myself, I won’t try. Grundam let’s loose and slides down the chute.

I'll push my way in as it appears the only way to get out. I start to grunt as I don't like being confined to this room

(Can I make like an acrobatics check to sort of get out of Grundam's way? I don't want to be knocked down with him)

Steve scans the sides of the shoot as they fall, looking for somewhere to lodge the metal bar to potentially slow or stop the momentum.
